Go here often for a walk around the small Loch. Lots of swans and geese. Loch needs cleaned in places.

Hogganfield loch is a great place to walk around and blow off the cob webs. It was very cold and icy when I walked around the place.

Great place for walking/running and birdwatching. Flat, tarmac paths loop the loch, no toilets. The loch is a popular watering hole for winter birds such as whooper swan, greylag geese, canada geese, teal, wigeon, gadwall and goosander.

I used to come here as a child. Hadn’t been in a decade and am really impressed with the wilding that’s happened. Well done to everyone involved.

Very peaceful lovely place to wander around. Collect your thoughts and feed the swans and ducks some wild bird seed.

A great place just to catch fresh air! Hogan field is great for bird watchers and nature lovers like - there’s plenty of bird species and other wildlife in the different habitats within the park area. There is also a play area for children, a large loch with a number of resident ducks and swans and both summer and winter visitors. The is a golf course just next door and parking for a good number of cars. Certainly worth a visit.

Beautiful views, peaceful and calm. Good walk around the Loch and plenty to keep the kids occupied!

Found this gem in walking distance from Dennistoun after being bored of Alexandra Park. Lovely wee lake and nice walks. Only downside is no public toilets currently open and part of it is quiet close to a loud and busy road so you don't feel it's as much of an escape to a green space because of this. Still beautiful and plenty of walks in the vicinity I want to try next.

Just the place to feed the ducks although I believe that it's not good for their digestive systems. Strange parking arrangement, the main park for the loch is a bit small, there is another one next door that ticks all the boxes. You don't stand a chance accessing this place if don't have local knowledge or a satnav.

A great place to wander around. There's a large quantity of birdlife on and around the loch and the people watching's pretty good too!

Ideal for running training as it’s exactly 2km if you run the track around the Loch. Clean and well maintained too, a great park. Usually loads of dogs on and off leads so be careful of your own dogs.
