Made a trip with my elder sister to store to find toddler items such as play mats and baby bouncers. We came across a staff member named David who at the beginning seemed great, however things took a turn very quickly after I had requested David to help me with lifting 2 items from a height in store which wasn’t accessible by me or my sister, straight after I asked for these two items at a height, David turned around and spoke extremely rudely and raised his voice saying “I am not grabbing your personal shopping and you must get this yourself “ I was taken back and shook with his mannerism. I had to then insist David to follow me where I can show him that the items were not at easy reach. He then started to question why I didn’t choose something at a closer proximity which looked almost the same but I had to share that the item may look similar however it is not the same. It made me very upset that David was questioning every little thing and made my experience in store horrible & very uncomfortable. I spoke with Lauren to advise I will be sharing feedback. To Scot, store manager, please provide staff with the correct support so the staff is not under any pressure. For all I know, maybe David was having a poor day at work and burst out at myself in the end?

security guard woman with long dark hair was making unnecessary comments to me and my friend who are both 13 females, don’t see why she had to tell us rules for shops and not anyone else who came in. these comments made us feel uncomfortable as she said it in a rude tone. please educate her on stereotypes and not to make rude comments to customers. we immediately left after looking for stranger things funko pops which you don’t have. tell her to go back to school immediately and get a education. many thanks bro

This is a great toy store packed to the rafters with the latest toys and games with good parking right outside. Find most of the staff knowledgeable and helpful one other piece of advice don't bring the children they will be changing their minds in every aisle

Be prepared to queue to get into store, but once your in social distancing goes out the window!! It's a toy store not much you can say, except make sure you've checked around for prices as can be expensive!

Wife panicking because she couldn't find what she wanted, along came Zara to our rescue spent at least 10 minutes helping us find the right sonic toy, thank you so much Zara, a definite keeper there Smyths.

Went to start my Christmas shopping here tonight didn't know where the trollies were asked a member of staff (Cathy or Carly) but she told me she was busy dealing with someone but pointed to the direction they were in asked another member of staff who bit the head off me and told me I had already been told where they were!!!! Tried to tell her I couldn't see any ,more or less was told too bad. won't be spending my money here.

Staff at customer services really need more training, I’m not really interested in how you were out at Bathgate with your mum last night, I just wanted served, I’m sure could have waited till I was finished with my purchase before having a big chat with your pal!! Rude 😡

Was In looking for tonies, struggled to find them as they are hidden behind a counter. I asked if I could see them and was told no as people have been stealing them. I found the whole interaction a bit weird.

I was disappointed with the choice of Funkos as they didn't have any from the Disney Princesses

Absolutely love this shop. It's well lit, well stocked and easy to navigate. Staff on hand are helpful and friendly. Good prices and some decent reductions to be had. Would recommend for all a child could want!

Shocking customer service put my daugjters bike for xmas in to get built after purchasing it from the store a cpl of weeks earlier . To be told that the bike which i had taken to the store myself was no longer there and maybe have been sold . Then a so called manager came down to say its probably because the store is really busy and chaotic .....at xmas ......shock horror . So smyths have sold the same bike twice and said i would get one built to collect next day . Now phoned Glasgow fort 60 TIMES today for nobody to answer the phone no phone call or email to update me . Rediculous customer service and management !!!

Disgracefull attitude at glasgow fort, bought a £10 +£30 roblox vouchers £10 didnt work ( & the £30 was for xmas day) so didnt try it, returned to the store in under an hour to be told money couldnt be refunded unless we could prove the voucher didnt work, went downstairs to speak to the manager, who said i needed the reciept, which i had , and had threw on the floor at the pay counter, in disgust, put her arms in the air and said there was nothing she could do, £40 stolen from me, will never set foot in smyths stores again, very overpriced too, shop around u can save £10 & more on some of the larger toys

This is a great shop and with staff who are very helpful and usually always friendly , I didn't realise that it eas only click and collect and went all the way up to the Fort yesterday , so dont do what I did and check before you go

I feel sorry for the staff in smyths with how rude people can be to them. You are all doing an amazing job dealing with the public which is a hard job in itself! All the staff have been nothing but amazing any time I’ve been in with my kids. I don’t understand people who want to boss the staff around they are human beings like everyone else and have a lot to do as it is.

The prices are ok but I got a tiny fnaf mystery box and it was 6 quid
