Review edit: don’t bother. The delivery food is mediocre and doesn’t match the description on Uber Eats. There are nicer food places nearby more deserving of your money. —————————————————— It’s ok - usually pretty busy and the staff sometimes don’t acknowledge or serve straight away. Coffee is good but the food isn’t amazing. Delivery food was fine but not amazing. A good option to have locally but it’s definitely better to eat in. The honey Cajun chips here are not the same standard as the ones from Nonna Rina next door! A good place for Mount Vernon to have but there’s not much else around in the way of competition so I’m sure it does great business.

First time here and looking forward to more visits! The food was delicious with a great selection! Prices are really good for portion sizes. Service was great and staff were very friendly

Had the soup which was simple yet hearty. Really cute cafe/restaurant with authentically Italian food. Service was swift, efficient and super friendly. Real mix of locals in for everything from breakfast to lunch. Highly recommended if you're in the area

Food inc salad & service excellent. Have visited a number of times. However one star off due to tuna (baked potato), being over-loaded with full fat mayonnaise. Too much and not good if trying to watch calories. Staff and decor can't fault. Will definitely return & request another filling unless they can make tuna less of full fat.

Myself and two friends dined here for the first time recently and loved it, the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, the restaurant itself was spacious, clean and well presented and the menu had a surprisingly impressive selection all at very reasonable prices. What really sets this place apart for me tho is the dessert selection, I will be back for the home made cakes and pastries alone, definitely worth popping in and trying if you are in the area

We live close by .and we go there a lot .very good service .even when the place is busy .u don’t wait that long for the food .I’ve never tried the take out service .the food in the restaurant is very good nice portions also .they have huge pineapple cakes which I love 🤪.i would Deff reccomend if u are looking for a nice lunch

I really like Rustico when I eat in everything is perfect But the deliveries I have been getting lately are terrible roll and bacon for my Daughter was full of fat by the time I cut it all off there was nothing left. Black pudding was raw inside made me feel sick Cakes come all broken and melted as hot soup was put on top of them Very disappointing I just wish they would take more care and a wee bit more time to get things right as normally a great wee place to eat ☹️

Wow. Went to Rustico with an old pal I have not seen for 30 plus years. He said it was a great place. That was an understatement! We went in at lunchtime and it was busy. We were instantly greeted by a member of staff who was polite and friendly. We order the soup and sandwich deal. I had lentil soup and a prawn sandwich. The soup was toasting hot and so tasty and as for the prawn sandwich it was full of prawns. They were falling out the side of the sandwich as I was biting into it. I can easily say this is one of the best places I have been to for years were you can just drop in and get OUTSTANDING and TASTY food, with great portions, great pricing and lovely staff. I cannot wait to go back again.

Been here 4 times and each time the food has been horrible, the mac and cheese was bland, the coffees were cold, total waste of money. First time we waited an hour for our food to come, when it did it was cold and I refused to wait for fresh. The staff are nice, but I would not go back.

Cracking wee place, been going weekly with the girlfriend for the last few months now. Coffee is great, food is delicious, and all the staff are hard-working & friendly. Highly recommend.

Bought cappuccino & cheese toastie carryout was served cappachio straight away,waited longer for my toastie,I stay 4mins away in car .When I got home toastie was brick hard,Only got im sorry Not even overfed a fresh coffee .Not a happy customer😡

First time here for lunch with my wife and for sure not the last. Lovely food (penne Rustico just amazing) friendly and kind staff, very nice atmosphere. And the most important? Very reasonable prices!

My son ordered 3 breakfasts at £9.50 each and they were terrible bought on Sunday 18th sep 23 at 11am. The eggs were cooked in dirty oil the bacon was half cooked black pudding not cooked properly and the toast was soggy. the nicest thing about the breakfast was the tea. I wish there was an option to send a picture. There is a cafe nearby that does the belly buster 2 of everything for £10 which could do 3 people. Rustico you need to revisit your breakfast as we didn't eat any of it. Will not be back

Great local restaurant always busy so a bit cramped and could be brighter but still a great place to eat. Very friendly staff and good selection of excellent ice-cream.

Only in for a takeaway which was great ad always, but the seating area was very busy as people were out supporting local enterprises.

Disappointed! Food not very well cooked, tea supposed to be included in price of breakfast but charged separately at £2 per cup, black pudding soft and doughy and more fat on the bacon than there was bacon. £53 for 4 breakfast's even though the menu states that breakfast is £6 odds each. Definitely wont be back again.

I'm pleased with the service I received at Rustic. I have mobility difficulty, but the salesman collected all the items I asked for. He was courteous and helpful.
