Travelled to collect this car that has been sold to us as a supposed BMW approved car. On inspection we found that the car had numerous visible safety related faults including: 1. A deep cut to the side wall of the tyre 2. A second tyre worn to excess 3. A chip in driver’s side front screen Also heavily stone chipped front end. This is not what we expected at this kind of price tag. We asked to speak to the manager to go thought these issues. He was rude and arrogant, making out that we were making mountains out of mole hills. We explained that this level of service was something we’d expect from a car bought from an auction, and not a prestigious car dealership. As we asked for him to reimburse our fuel money for the wasted trip he walked away and muttered ‘No chance’. His customer facing skills were despicable. Avoid buying used cars from afar at all costs!

Absolutely disgusting, Abhorrent, Unscrupulous and Evil. I purchased a car foe 15000 and used my old car as a 2000 deposit. The car doesn't measure up as advertised on fuel economy, 28 mpg on eco mode rather than 40 mpg. I questioned this and asked for a settlement figure on day 21. 8 days later they hadn't come back to me and I complained. They offered to buy the car back for 13000 which effectively means that my old car didn't exist at all? How is this possible? Why is it ok to leave a customer in the lurch for 8 days. Shocking, horrible, infuriating. Now im stuck with the car whether I like it or not. Do yourself a favour don't make the same mistake as me.

Had a BMW recall for blower motor, work carried out quickly but immediately noticed when driving home there was a new electrical noise from all speakers and a dimmed head unit. Phoned up and was told to pay £99 to bring it in for a diagnostic. Seems like they fixed the problem that was needed and made themselves some more work. Scam

Looked like a great showroom from outside, pity didnt feel welcomed to have a look by receptionist! Went to checkout the new 2 Series coupe, but the salesman (Jonathan?) was really reluctant to sell me a car, seemed uninterested. There was a “demonstrator” car outside, could have showed me that 🤷🏻‍♂️. I think they lack customer service training. Left there and went to Harry Fairbairn in Giffnock instead, they were completely opposite. Welcoming, smiles, excellent, if I am buying my first new BMW it will definitely be from them. FYI we own two BMW in the household already.

I’m based down south queried about a BMW X1 and dealt with Graeme who was really polite and really prompt. Sent me a personalised video of the car and was not pushy at all! Great customer service!

Had a horrible experience with my vehicle I bought. Too long of a story to tell, but what I can tell you, I found the general manager and his staff were honest and had integrity and will do their very best to look after you. Unfortunately I had to reject my car which was disappointing but cannot fault this garage whatsoever. Just a bit of bad luck! I would not hesitate to use this garage again, not their fault the car deveolped a fault after five days of ownership!

Went to see an i3 today. Whilst I accept the person I saw was not the specialist in electric cars, I felt the two facts provided: it’s electric and it’s fast didn’t cut it. Felt unwelcome and no effort was made to improve on that position. Went to the nearby Nissan dealer where the customer service was 1st class!

After 20 years of buying from A clark, I purchased a 3 year old 3 series from Parks. A more professional salesman and way of doing business I have not come across in all my years. Top money for my trade in and absolutely no pushing or shoving. It was a very good experience for me and would definitely buy from them again.

Very nice showroom, super collection of cars for sale. Good selection of beverages including bottled water for waiting customers. In spite of me buying two cars from them in the past in 2006 and 2011, they do not consider customer loyalty into account. They want you to pay more for their cars, also they want to pay as less as possible for the car you want to trade in. They will not negotiate on prices, inspite of promise of a discount. Sales executive Graeme Gibson has an attitude that is cocky, considers his customers a fool, and thinks that because he works for a prestigious brand, he can be the king, when actually the customer paying top dollar is the king. He and his manager should tone down, otherwise they'll have no sale and other better behaved BMW Showrooms elsewhere will take their business which I think is a shame as I sincerely believe in shopping locally.

Poor service. Unprofessional guys fitted wrong size wheel which leads hard steering wheel, shoulder pain and dashboard become defective. Even if we're in warranty, we won't get support!! Be aware and stay away !!!

Very disappointed with quality of service from sales guy Jordan Bryce in Glasgow branch. Wanted to buy my son a 1 series for his birthday. Went to see it and tried to negotiate my son's old car as trade in. Wouldn't move on price. I left. My son was disappointed so next day i called bavk left two messages and no call back from Jordan. Very disappointed. Won't be back as I was also planning to change my Mercedes for a 4x4. On a more positive note went to another bmw dealer and what a difference in attitude, attention and deal. An update nobody has actually ever called back from the management team. Just shows what you think of your customers.

Once they've sold the car to you, they don't care anymore. Had a warranty issue, got complaints team involved to get the issue resolved.

Thought I'd share my recent dealing with the service centre at Pinkston Road. I booked my car in for oil and inspection service which was covered by service plan. On collecting the car Gordon the service advisor asked if I was aware of a gear box issue! I wasn't! Turns out there was a fault with 2nd gear crunching ( which it did only occasionally). The car has a full BMW service history and was just under a year out of the 3yr warranty with 13,500 miles. Gordon kindly contacted BMW who agreed immediately to change the box which was done next day. No drama and I was asked to pay a minimal amount towards the repair ( in my eyes). I am extremely pleased with how this problem was dealt with. I did have to go back with a rattle ( a loose under tray) but again no drama and fixed while I waited. In these times where everyone seems to grumble and groan about garages and main dealers I am extremely happy to give a big thumbs up to everyone at Douglas Park Service in Glasgow. Thank You

Recently bought a used car with this dealership. For a second hand car, the quality of the vehicle is pretty much like buying new if you can’t afford a brand new vehicle. I felt welcomed from the very start, as the receptionist offered comfy seating while we waited along with beverages. My main sales advisor was Ansar Zaman, great communication throughout the journey including agreement of timings to view/purchase due to travelling into Glasgow. and post buying the car. On the day I was also pointed to different colleagues (Connor, David) for the various processing stages, all with the same professionalism. Then to finish off with an in depth overview of the car and it’s features (Jack) Great team! And great cars

Spent 20 mins in the showroom looking to purchase a car, (the ONLY customer in the showroom full stop). Obviously I wasnt worthy of one of the 6 salesmans service or even a hello. Off to harry fairbairn now. Appalling.

With Harry Fairbairn around the corner from my house I’ve always preferred coming to Douglas park. The service has always been much better. Had my car in for a few software issues which have been resolved promptly and always kept me up to date. Special thanks to Gordon at the service department.

I've bought several cars from Douglas Park over the last 8 years, my personal experience always always been great when dealing with the new or used sales team. My PCP deal was due to expire towards the end of the year, so headed into the Douglas Park to review my options. Ansar Zaman approached whilst I was looking at a number of the different models, he assisted me with my questions and queries on the options, and range of cars either currently available or to be ordered. He was polite, friendly and very knowledgeable and passionate about the cars. Ultimately he ended up finding me a vehicle at the right price, colour and specifications. He kept in touch during the time between putting a deposit down and when I collected it, and has contacted me a couple of times post collection to followup, and ensure I got not issues or other questions. Also thanks Jack for your guidance on the technical features of the car, and for sending me the YouTube playlists of the cars feature and HowTo's. Thanks Ansar & Jack

Just bought a BMW 520 MSport from Park's BMW Kyle Street Showroom. Outstanding Customer Service from David Bell. From the minute I entered the showroom until I drove away with the car, David could not have been more attentive. Everything was explained to me and I was kept fully up to date with when I would get the car. David also arranged to have my personal number plate transferred. No hiccups or problems at all, unlike our fairly recent purchase of a BMW 330e from a different Dealership. Thanks again David, you are a credit to the Park's Organisation.

Absolute bunch of w***ers in the parts department! My 24 hour delivery took 5 days and they refused to send part of the advertised item. When questioned they said they would partially refund me for the late postage and they still haven’t several weeks later! Absolute clowns! Stay as far away as possible from this garage!!

Just picked up my new Mini, which is my 3rd in total and first purchase from Parks. A seamless experience, great communication and great service. I couldn’t recommend Darren the salesman enough. Top guy, got me the perfect spec car for my needs. Will be back in the future for sure!

I got in touch via BMW website in February 2020 and apparently the 2 Series configuration I designed was sent over to the dealer. I was contacted by Ben Greenwood who was aware I had requested a test drive of the 2 Series as it was in the email. After some back and forth about date and time, I went in to the dealer where I was kept waiting for ages - then Ben said he didn't have the car I wanted to see in the showroom as it wasn't in yet!?! Then I looked about, was interested in the 3 Series, so he tried to sell me the car HE WANTED ME TO BUY, not one I might have wanted, i.e. a brand new one with my configuration. The manager, who looked like character Henry Sellers (appropriate name) from Father Ted, was called round to try to convince me to buy it, which I did not. Went to another brand dealer in March 2020, bought a new car, thank you very much, and it's a much better car. Salesman was brilliant - he DID NOT PUSH ME and was patient while I thought things through. I got a great deal and don't regret it, best car ever.

Called to book car in for service having had a recall notice for the car so thought get recall sorted n get car serviced at same time, girl who called me back I asked her to call me back in half an hour as was in meeting! Anyways no call back from them guess they don’t need my business the last bmw I took to them for a service they forgot to put the cooling cap on so was reluctant to take my car there in the first place impression I get from this dealer is they don’t care for there customers and they think they are doing you a favour hopefully won’t have to ever use them

A place to avoid! Noticed a windscreen chip on the day of purchase my second hand 'supposed' BMW approved car. After getting ensured by the sales man this would be taken care of and fixed for me at their cost, I went home awaiting their call advising the way forward about the damaged windscreen. They were not helpful and never available to take a call. Long story short, almost three months later and I'm still fighting to get my money back for the windscreen repair which Douglas Park asked me to get and confirmed I would be reimbursed for. I should have never trusted the sales guy or left the shop before that was fixed. Lesson learnt. Very poor customer service, I've never been treated this way before! Be aware if thinking of getting your car there!

Having used DP for the past 3+ years for servicing both my car and motorbike I've finally bought a used 5 series touring from them. I dealt with Roddy MacPhee who was great. I was pleased with the deal we agreed and saved me hassle having to deal with a third party with my part exchange. The service I received when servicing both my previous F11 5 series touring and motorbike is the main reason I've purchased a car from them. Neither the car or bike was purchased from them nor in warranty. However on two occasions over the 3 years of ownership they have come to the rescue with goodwill gestures which saved me substantial outlay and relief in all honesty. So it made sense to make my next car purchase with them. So thank you Roddy and DP. Keep up the good work. :D

Owned the car for 5 months - supposedly approved used - had to go back to the garage multiple times with issues and the dashboard has been lit up like a Christmas tree with things that needed to be checked. 5 months in and we’re £250 out of pocket because this dealership cuts corners and tries to get away with the bare minimum. Sounds like that’s their modus operandi from the other reviews. Avoid unless you want to be extorted.

Brian on the phone in services is HORRENDOUS. My car has been serviced here by the previous owner since it was made. I asked Brian to provide me with MY vehicles service history reports if possible and he went onto explaining that it is not possible under GDPR laws unless I can prove it’s my vehicle. I asked about sending my V5C via email and he then went onto say that it still effects GDPR. People here in customer services are lazy. No one wants to deal with your calls, you will be transferred one call to another. Oh and when I called Head Office, they said they will send me the service history via email. Please train your staff on how to manage customer queries and deal with customers instead of being lazy and sending all calls to head office. Pathetic.

Aftercare customer service is really poor for a luxury brand like BMW where you're paying a premium. [Update] Turns out that the problem I had was there was a nail in my front left tyre, despite the rep at douglas park assuring me there was nothing wrong and it was perfectly fine. At the time, when I insisted there had to be something wrong, as the air was going out of the tyre every couple of weeks, I was met with sarcasm and hostility. His exact words: "all we can do is check it for you and if we can't see something wrong, what else do you want me to do?" Maybe get it right next time and don't cause your customer a load of extra hassle and driving on an unsafe tyre for a few weeks.

Arrived at 14:40 to speak with Graeme who mentioned he had another customer at the time which was fine but after that he never approached us to say how long he would be. At 15:50, over an hour of waiting with no update from the man himself we decided to leave. Our previous experience with Douglas Park was great but today was shocking, a single update on how long he would be was all we needed, not just left to sit wondering.

I bought a 65 Plate approved used BMW M4 from BMW Park Glasgow, the service throughout the process was exemplary. Christopher Lort was my contact and kept me up to date and well informed during the purchase. the car has exceeded my expectations. Only a small hiccup when the Exhaust Valve actuator failed, this was replaced with no fuss at all at my local BMW service branch. They also sent me on my way back to Chester with Iron Brew and a bouquet of flowers for the misses. Top guys.

Okay I am not really that person always writes reviews but when I personally face something could have been better way to deal with i think I won’t be the person who sits side and wait for someone to point to it, I have personally booked three weeks prior my appointment for car to get repaired i was fully convinced by staff there is no any available courtesy cars i said okay but can i get informed when there available and its THREE WEEKS until my appointment, and get notified that drop time will be available from 8:00 am so said fine that will suites my schedule for my work okay (i first book for the 22nd and then swap to 29th, so later on no one come say to me but u changed your appointment date but i have already spoke to them since first time i called amd there should be something called note under eache customer of bmw or am i wrong?) anyway i work in maxim park in Motherwell and so its far even to commute using public transport buses for person haven’t use them for like 3 years amd am not bother to take them again, anyway I haven’t received any email to guid me where should i drop my car i also got phone call on friday at 17:00 telling me my appointment to drop the car is 9:15 oh so Am i not going to be asked if that time okay with me, i know its pandemic time and we all going throught it but no one come to tell me you need to appreciate what we doing well I AM WORKING AS WELL ARE U NOT GOING TO APPRECIATE THAT FACE AS WELL AM TRYING MY BEST AND GAVE ENOUGH TIME FOR BOOKING TO SORT ME OUT BUT NO ANY CUSTOMER ATTENTION AND THIS NOT THE FIRST TIME FIRST WAS BMW MOTHERWELL AND NOW ITS DOGLAS PARK VERY LOW CUSTOMER SATISFACTION COMPARING TO EDINBURGH BMW I LITERALLY GET CHASED AND CALLED MANYTIME TO SEE IF MY EXPERIENCE WAS OKAY, anyway so Knowing the fact you CHARGE diagnose check to everything and don’t accept any diagnose from outside ? BUT IF I WENT TO NORMAL GARAGE INCLUDING QUICKFIT ITS TOTALLY FREE AND OVER THAT THEY GET WORK DONE IN ONE DAY, but now am getting charge for diagnostic and no one literally know when the car will be fix and i will be lift without any courtesy car don’t know until when when i take UBER RETURN SO THAT £40 a day and yous expect me to be calm and deal with this as normal absolutely low service i said it before and i will say it again BMW IS JUST NAME WHEN ITS COME TO CUSTOMER ATTENTION NO ONE EVEN TREATS U FOR THE AMOUNT OF MONEY YOU PAY FOR THEIR SERVICE

The salesmen are very attentive, and will always give you great advice as buying a car can be a daunting experience for anyone. The choice of cars is vast, and the service by staff is efficient and almost clinical. Will definitely buy from them again. Very pleased.

Damaged my rear windscreen wiper and wanted it to be fixed. I was told it would cost £99 just for someone to look at it for "diagnostics" - this would take all of 60 seconds. I previously queried a problem with my stop-start function, although I was told it was ok I spent £100 for nothing to be fixed and the problem still persists. I can understand a charge for diagnostics if tests need to be done but not for a windscreen wiper!! Will not go there again.

Phoned last week to arrange an appointment, car needs an oil service, was told it will also need filters. Informed I would need to leave the car for two hours so planned my day accordingly. Turned up this morning and was told they need the car for five hours and since I need to travel to Manchester later this morning had to cancel the service and drive back home. Great to buy a car from but after sales is not good enough.

Truly awful company Discovered that our “new” car bought in May 2017 was actually manufactured in November 2015, 18 months previously We were not informed of this when they persuaded us not to wait for the white car we requested and instead have the silver model which was available now Immoral and deceitful practice which is unfortunately legal since a car is declared new when first registered They were totally disinterested in our complaint and are an untrustworthy organisation We will never buy from Douglas Park and we’ll never recommend them Remember to ask when your “new” car was manufactured next time you buy

If I could Give a 0 star I would. Originally went a few years back to test drive a X6 on the Sunday which we were told would be there. When we arrived we were told that the manager had taken the X6 out for the weekend. After much frustration we drove to the Hamilton branch where we were given A class service. Fast forward to last week, we had a test drive booked with Jack Ain******. We turned up and were told that he had left to take another customer on a test drive. We decided to wait and an hour later still no sign. We asked two different people where he was and they gave two answers. We decided enough was enough and left. One phone call to let us know that he will be late or that we should have come another day would have been helpful. Instead Douglas park Glasgow live up to their rubbish service. Avoid Jack Ain******.

Very poor service received a few months ago when I went to collect my BMW. The man was almost shouting at me as it was nearly closing time, despite me paying a fortune to have my car fixed. Won't be going back here. Made me wait in the dark as he went about his business then came back looking irritated but realising his mistake trying to back pedal.
