Not
the
first
time
this
happened,
hence
worthwhile
making
others
aware
-
price
shown
on
shelves
AREN'T
ALWAYS
CORRECT.
Gotta
be
vigilant
of
how
much
items
are
being
charged
on
your
receipts,
especially
if
that's
not
something
you
buy
regularly.
Bought
2
boxes
of
the
puff
pastries
today.
As
shown
in
my
photo,
says
£5.59,
but
when
I
got
to
the
till
-
£7.99.
Paid
for
them
at
the
time
thinking
I
remembered
wrong,
went
back
to
the
shelves
and
checked
afterwards
to
find
out
otherwise.
I
took
the
picture
as
proof
and
brought
it
up
to
a
member
of
staff.
It
turns
out
the
price
tag
was
for
another
item
of
the
same
brand,
also
a
box
of
puff
pastry,
but
of
a
different
weight.
Got
a
"sorry"
there,
was
given
the
option
to
join
the
queue
to
refund
the
item,
however
there
was
no
initiative
in
rectifying
the
wrong
tag,
I
waited
for
a
few
seconds
after
being
told
about
the
refund
option,
then
went
on
to
ask
what
would
she
suggest
to
stop
this
mistake.
Was
told
then
because
it
was
almost
their
closing
time
for
the
day
(10
mins
to
closing),
it
won't
be
done
today.
I
simply
can't
understand
that
attitude
myself,
in
a
big
shop
like
Costco,
with
the
number
of
staff
working
in
the
warehouse
at
any
one
time,
there
has
to
be
someone
in
the
warehouse
that
can
be
sent
to
the
shelf
to
simply
remove
the
wrong
tag
(assuming
they
really
can't
afford
time
to
print
the
correct
one.
Maybe
I
could
volunteer
that
role
as
a
customer...
but
seriously?)
At
least
the
next
person
will
be
checking
their
receipt
to
find
out
how
much
the
item
costs.
I
become
more
aware
of
the
implications
of
this
incident
as
I'm
typing
this
up.
The
issue
was
reported
at
the
end
of
a
busy
Sunday,
this
meant
probably
there'll
be
easily
another
few
dozen
customers
like
myself
being
misled
by
the
wrong
price
tag,
if
not
close
to
a
hundred.
This
simply
adds
to
my
infuriating
from
the
lack
of
urgency
shown
by
the
staff
in
fixing
the
cause
of
the
problem.
Honestly,
I'm
starting
to
lose
trust
in
this
shop
since
this
is
not
the
first
time
the
price
on
the
shelf
is
wrong.
