Moved to dennistoun area, had to change doctor practice to this one. Horrible & unprofessional, a doctor to STEER CLEAR FROM is Dr Douglas. Misdiagnosed me twice, told me I had eczema when it was Exfoliative keratolysis. Refused to listen to all my symptoms, second time diagnosed me in a rushed "brushing off" manner before I could finish. Never listens to understand, listens to get me out of the way. Treated by her like a problem rather than a human being. Condescending, patronising tone of voice. Dr Aitken is not bad at all, but I am baffled at how Dr Douglas is allowed to sit on a chair and tell people what is supposedly wrong with them. It is a shame, because the reception staff are lovely, cheerful and helpful. But Dr Douglas brings down the reputation of the practice heavily. Avoid avoid avoid avoid avoid!!!!

An absolute disgrace of a doctor's surgery. Lots of things they "can't deal with" and lots of things they just screw up in general. Dr Douglas in particular can be horribly unprofessional and dangerously incompetent. When a doctor's inaction causes a patient to lose an appendage that's when things are clear that something has gone horribly wrong in their training. Dr Bachu and Dr Aitken were the saving graces and they retired.

The most patronising, condescending and rude GP''s I have had the misfortune to deal with. Misdiagnosed a life threatening illness because THEY DO NOT LISTEN TO PATIENTS! Their reviews are shockingly bad but thoroughly deserved . Bring back Dr Aitken ! These idiots have been calling me for two weeks to do a medication review, so have called back twice to arrange a call back from a GP for a five minute phone call. On both occasions I was told that they are far too busy as they only have one doctor so therefore only dealing with emergencies. The first time I had the misfortune to get "Rosemary's Baby "receptionist .You'll know who I mean !!! The first line of their recorded message states: "In cases of emergencies call 999" So when I enquired what emergencies they are dealing with ?I was told "phoning ambulances for patients" Seriously!!! Are you saying rather than call for an ambulance directly a patient who is in an emergency makes their way to the surgery for you to call an ambulance? Yes,she replied. I spoke with a receptionist at another practice today who confirmed that is complete nonsense. A lie. They are absolutely atrocious !!! They are a complete disgrace and provide absolutely atrocious service. They seem to believe because they are in the east end of Glasgow they can speak to and treat patients atrociously without any recourse.

If you are looking for google searchers, they are your choice if you don't have a PC at home. Otherwise, avoid them at all cost !!! The only thing worth to mention, nurses are great there. They really do care about the patient. Edit: During the pandemic, all people that what was decent there left (nurses). The only recommendation for this place is - Stay away from it !!!

Joke of a practice, Dr Douglas misdiagnosed my partners lung collapse as a "panic attack" and have absolutely horrendous communication skills and organisation of the practice. Receptionists are nice enough but Dr Douglas seems to be the only doctor you get to speak to or see and she is patronising, ignores what patients tell her, as I said misdiagnoses and is incredibly rude and dismissive. Formal complaint going in about this.

The staff are fantastic here, very helpful, extremely professional and always friendly. I have experienced all the doctors here and was saddened when Dr Bachu retired. Unfortunately though I have to agree that I now avoid Dr Douglas. I find her dismissive and always hurried. She misdiagnosed my son twice, following the second time Dr Aitken was thankfully available and sent my son for an emergency scan. Had Dr Douglas listened and taken note of the symptoms my son would have been spared a lot of pain and a 3 week absence from school. Unfortunately I too am going to change surgery.

You’re asked to call at 8:00am if you want an appointment but there’s no queueing system or hold system so you just have to keep calling until they’re available… I ended up calling 40+ times before getting through. A queuing/hold system would make life easier and it’s really not difficult to set up. Also, it’s already a negative experience having to go to the doctor so having a receptionist that makes you feel bad for even existing, makes it worse! A receptionist that isn’t rude would be nice. The 2 stars are purely for the fact that the nurses are really nice… that’s about it.

The receptionists and most of the doctors are really helpful. Avoid Dr Douglas at all costs, she's unable to comprehend or unwilling to listen to anything patients have to say.

Edit; reception staff have just lied to my face about whether they can book a face to face appointment or not. I have a serious skin condition and mental health issues how can you properly observe or treat that over the phone? Absolutly disgraceful service avoide at all costs you'd be better going to a witch doctor. Unbelievably bad service i haven't been able to get a appointment in months. They only take appointments between 8.30am and 9.00am absolutly disgrecful if you have any sort of commitment it is impossible to see anyone to get any help at all and if that isn't bad enough it is only for that say no future bookings. Absolute disgrace complete joke. This is 2022 Scotland we live in the first world and i can't even see my local dr.

When I was 15 they misdiagnosed my asthma attack and I got sent home to drink fluids and rest. Well thank God I listened to my body and so did my mum because after two attempts to get help there and multiple visits to other health centres I was seen by a nurse in the Easterhouse health centre who told me and my mum if we had waited 5 minutes longer it could have been very fatal. I got rushed to the QEUH childrens hospital and the doctors were infuriated that they didn't have common sense to listen to a child when they are telling you they are struggling to breathe

Absolutely the worst practice I’ve been with dr Douglas is useless and doesn’t listen to you at all. Got told during a 2 minute phone call that there’s absolutely nothing wrong with me and that I’m fine. Avoid at all costs

Very bad! I did not get any medical care or support during my pregnancy, even when I had a terrible respiratory infection. Dr Daglas is unprofessional, very nasty and neglects patients!!! Very disappointed, I decided to change the practice and complained to the health board.

The receptionists at this practice are very unhelpful, uncooperative and unprofessional. I wonder if they are there to make the life of patients harder. I have a very bad experience at this practice and that is absolutely disgraceful.

Completely useless, it is impossible to get appointment because they give appointment only on the day you call and it has to be at 8.30 morning. But it is impossible to get through to talk to real person because the phone is no t available, there is no queuing system. And when you get to talk to receptionist finally after 50 calls she tells that they are full for today and you have to call next morning, they don't give you appointment time for next day. What a joke. I assume this practice is just a scam to get money from NHS and than don't care about their clients at all.

Had to deal with the practice yesterday on behalf of a friend. Doctors receptionists and doctors themselves have had to put up with a lot of criticism recently but I can only commend them for their care and professionalism yesterday. People always post negative experiences so I would like to say thank you and well done.

A practice that defines "third world primary healthcare." Appalling. Deaths must have occurred consequent to the incompetence, negligence and unavailability rampant within this practice. A full, grassroots, Care Commission Review has to take place before further suffering and misery are propagated upon the local community. I cannot believe what you put us through.
