I had my first appointment with Dr McKeown yesterday and I am so impressed with the treatment I received. Dr McKeown put me at ease straight away and explained the procedure and possible side effects. I am really happy with my results so far and will definitely be back. The waiting room is beautiful, opulent and calming and the staff are warm and welcoming. A five star experience!

I’ve lived all over the world (including California where there’s easy access all kinds of cosmetic and beauty treatments) and would still travel to Glasgow to see Dr Darren. Dr Darren McKeown and his team are fantastic. They made me feel at ease from the minute I walked in the clinic door. Darren was absolutely amazing. Very friendly, honest and professional. It was my first visit and blown away by the beautiful surroundings. Even the main door is a thing of beauty :) So first impressions entering a definite 10 out 10. Receptionist was very friendly and lovely to interact with. Rhona was great. It was both our first meeting but she took the time to discover my expectations, and a thorough consultation was given. I did not have that conveyor belt rushed feeling; and all in all compared to London clinics where I have been living last few years, until 2 months ago, this was the best experience to date. I genuinely look forward to returning and feel I am in a highly professional and safe environment and have great confidence the botox treatment will be also.

Darren has always been very honest with me and what procedures are right for me and at what time. Most people would just say yes and take your money but both times ive said about my lip filler over 9 month period he has said not just yet lets review in 6 months. Best service and lovely staff. Overall very comfortable.

I've been wanting to get filler for a few years now due to loss of volume in my cheeks. My smile lines had become very prominent and it was becoming a huge insecurity. My other half was totally against me getting it as typically with Filler it doesn't look natural. From start to finish everything was perfect, the team made me feel totally at ease. They welcomed me in on the day as though they had known me for years. Lorraine was extremely helpful in answering the million questions I had before committing to the treatment. On the day of procedure was such a friendly welcome and the premises were outstanding so clean and modern with a comfortable couch in the waiting area. Dr Darren explained in detail what the procedure involved, the type of results I could expect and gave me the chance to ask any questions. The procedure itself was quick and painless (fully numbed). I had my treatment two weeks ago and the results speak volumes. The lockdown had its toll on my skin very badly and accelerated its aging. A lovely clinic with a very professional high end feel and customer approach. Staff are welcoming, warm & friendly but very professional at what they do. Highly recommend a visit if you’re considering any facial rejuvenation or aesthetics. I have received my follow up & 5th session of BBL and the results have been amazing afterwards once healed as my skin is more fresh, youthful and free of any unsightly marks, broken veins and pigmentation which was my main concern.

I received Halo and BBL I was a little nervous but Dr Ruth and her trainee completely put my mind at rest. I was referred here by a 3rd party in an attempt to correct damage of hypopigmentation and fat loss following a laser device (LBF, Glasgow) Unfortunately the referral from 3rd party was not impartial (advising not much could be done... I uncovered this via a SAR), it seemed to set the tone of my consultation with this clinic from the outset. It is my opinion the approach was quite dismissive from the outset to the extent I raised this as a concern at the time. The clinics response is that I have never been in attendance ... most likely due to the fact I requested under GDPR that they did not hold on to my data. I have maintained all comms.

ACNE SCARRING & LASER TREATMENT I never write reviews but I wanted to this time as I hope this will help someone else who is struggling to cope with their acne and acne scarring. I attended Dr McKeown's clinic for laser treatment for my acne scarring. I have suffered from acne scarring since I was around 18-19, so half of my life exactly. I forgot what it was like to look in the mirror and not immediately assess and scrutinise my skin (and then the awful comments I would say to myself thereafter). As the years went on I grew in my own self and I wasn't as harsh, but for a very long time my acne scarring really defined me and how I felt. Unfortunately I developed stress related cystic acne at 18 and this gave me awful anxiety- I would actively avoid people and refused to go out at times. Then if I did bump into anyone unexpectedly I would almost have anxiety attacks. After years of battling my acne I was left with scarring - I longed for my acne to get better but never, ever thought about the scarring it would leave me with and how much that would effect me, my self confidence, my mental health and how I intereacted with people in general. As the years went on I really felt I needed to speak to someone so I went to Dr Darren McKeown's clinic as I had read great reviews on his medical and aesthetic background and his professional and dedicated patient care. I also knew that this clinic did not hold back when it came to buying the best laser machines the market had to offer. Darren gave me a thorough consultation, managed my expectations and created a programme to try and improve my acne scarring as much as possible- profractional laser treatment, broad band light therapy and then to polish it off, he added tiny little bits of filler under the more stubborn areas. To say Dr McKeown was determined to get my skin looking the best it could is an understatement! He was 110% committed and was on the journey with me. He has so many patients yet I felt like I was his only one - that is a true testament to his patient care and to how lovely he is in general. He is so knowledgeable and puts you at ease immediately - I was nervous about getting the laser treatment but I fully trusted his ability and expertise. My skin has been transformed - my acne scarring is so much better, pretty much gone completely!! and my overall skin quality has improved SO much. I think people undervalue the importance of good skin quality as by improving my skin I look fresher and younger....I'm almost 38 with 2 small kids (lots of sleepless nights!) so I was over the moon about this! I hate how some people view aesthetics, it isn't all about huge lips and the frozen forehead.....it is sometimes about piecing yourself back together again in such a natural way. That's what Dr McKeown does, he helps people feel better about themselves - I look like me, but a better version of me, and I feel so much more confident.

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful and they also got back to me quickly to offer me a cancellation appointment to speed up the consultation process which I really appreciated. They were also very knowledgeable and gave me lots of information about the surgeon, the process and guided to me to another website to research for myself.

I’m very happy with the results and quick not painful non surgical rhinoplasty. Dr Darren is honest what you can achieve after the appointment and does the best job you can ask for. Would definitely recommend!

Visited dr Darren, I wanted a natural look to just provide me with a fresh smoother appearance with facial fillers and to give me a little volume with lip fillers.
