If I could give this less than 1 star I absolutely would. If you're new to the Health Centre and require a new doctor's office, when making your request, ask for it NOT to be the Ker Practise. The Doctors are fantastic with a couple being really friendly, helpful and considerate, you just have to get through some of the most rude, unhelpful, aggressive and strangely defensive reception staff I have ever come across in my life. I should say that I understand they probably have to deal with a lot of unsavoury characters, considering the line of, and where they work but that does not give them the right to paint everyone with that same brush. I've been putting up with their atrocious attitudes and rude ways for years now but today was the straw that broke the camel's back, so much so that I'm changing to a different Doctor's Office immediately, just so I don't have to deal with these women ever again. The two on the desk today (I won't give their names for data protection) were truly two of the worst people I have ever had to deal with in ANY form of people facing work and how they're still employed is honestly laughable. These two have no business working in any kind of role that involves speaking with other human beings, let alone one that involves sick or hurt people... If you're a current patient at this surgery, leave as soon as you can or at least report their behaviour. If you're a new patient, AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!

The only cure for everything is paracetamol and the naive belief that the disease will pass by itself without harm or the patient will find help elsewhere. The biggest problem at the moment is seeking advice and registering for a telephone conversation with a doctor. The answering machine and the payphone do not allow for direct contact and making phone appointment.

I was removed from the practice after being treated badly by the doc Nadia Rahman and the receptionist. The receptionist and doc has lied and accused me of being racist for describing my usual doc as being white: they claim I said 'I want to see a white doc'. I definitely didn't ask that. I asked where my normal doc was, and I didn't know her name so I started describing her appearance. How is that being racist??? I only asked to know where my normal doc was because I wanted to make sure I didnt see Rahman again after her treating us so badly. She had us waiting for an extra 30 mins with no communication and when I raised this issues with her she cut me off every time I spoke. Iv been accused of being aggressive and shouting which is another lie. It was my tone of voice that changed but only because she wouldn't let my finish a sentence. Iv been seen by many doctors of all races and have no problem with them, only when rahmen was obnoxious and rude that's when I started being annoyed. She could have handled the situation better but instead she made it ten times worse by not giving me the time of day. This woman clearly doesn't know how to communicate properly. And gets innocent people removed and uses the racism card. It's not the colour of your skin that bothers me/us it's the way you treat people. Be careful seeing this doc. She will do the same to you and could get you removed for nothing. The staff in there are not to be trusted, they lie to get their own way. Not only have I had to deal with being accused of racism and got removed permanently . The person who is responsible for prescriptions continually mess them up. They are so unreliable. This happens all the time and everyday for a week back in March I had to call to sort the prescription for my diabetic son as the pharmacy hadn't received a thing from the doctors. I wouldn't recommend this place. The anxiety i get each time I call the pharmacy expecting it not to be done is horrible. I now order stuff well in advance so I didn't have to suffer the consequences. I don't even want to go back. Awful place.

Practice is a disgrace constantly tell you you can’t get a face to face but give you a time for phone consultation and and phone 20 mins before or after if your working that’s not good enough. Reception staff are very rude which then causes the patient getting irritated and being rude back and it’s nothing to do with covid. Closed the 2 practices on same day to put in computers and tell you it’s a training day no people skills what so ever

If you are like me who thought it would be a great idea to have a Gp close to your house in the Gorbals, I BEG YOU DON'T DO IT!! By far the worst gp practice I ever had to deal with. Awful customer service and this was prior to CoVid19. Now (late 2020) they say they will send prescriptions to your local pharmacy and they never do. When you contact customer desk over the phone you will be lied to and shouted over the phone. Choosing this Gp was probably the biggest regret of my life. USELESS

I called yesterday morning with a raging chest infection they assured me a gp would ring me back. I called them back after 4pm to hear an answerphone message saying the phone lines are down. I called again today to get the exact same message. I have worked as a telecommunications engineer and there is no way the phone lines would be down for this long. Plus they do have mobile phones as they are not shy about texting you to tell you only to contact them if it is seriously urgent

Never had a worse experience with doctors. They lose scripts, make you run hoops to get persciptions, make you write Essays on 'why you THINK you have ADHD' and constantly fail at doing their job. Had a phone appointment I waited two weeks for, I talked to them for about 5 minutes about getting meds I needed. Asked to also talk about getting antidepressants that I had gotten before (Already diagnosed just wanted to go back on meds) and they cut me off and said I only booked a normal phone appointment and should have booked a long phone appointment if I wanted to talk about more than ONE thing. I was NEVER told about this or given the option. I was only told either phone or face to face appointments. Nobody EVER mentioned 'long' appointments (More than 10 minutes I guess). I pushed and said it would be quick and I really felt I needed it, the doctor kept cutting me off telling me to stop talking and that he refused to help me with anything else. The next booking I would have had to wait two more weeks for. I gave up. They are rude and don't want to do their jobs. They don't care about their patients at all. Honestly 0/5 stars. This place is a JOKE!

Honestly the worst doctors practise I've ever been registered with (or not apparently!) doctor refused treatment for chronic issue last year even though fully documented in my previous surgery's notes, male gp I spoke with refused me my regular antibiotics until my notes came back in a week, I was in agony and calling in sick to work and putting my job at risk. Called yday to make an appointment no one phoned me back, had to go in today to be told the doctor never actually registered me and I now need to find a new doctors practice due to asking for a different gp a year ago! Absolutely shocking service apart from one young blonde receptionist who was amazingly helpful, I would avoid this practice like the plague

I have to agree with the other reviews here. Receptionists are pretty rude, even by the low standards of many doctors surgeries. Clearly under pressure to tick boxes at the expense of listening to and supporting patients needs.

The practise was very helpful to me as new patient and went the extra mile to push through some treatment requested by a consultant. Can't fault them and the Nurse was lovely. Unfortnately they have gone drastically down hill. Was told by one GP on a visit that he didn't know anything about female health when I was seeking help about the treatment I was on. Then they delayed the second part of a treatment due firstly no appiontments, give the recepionist her due she tried to find me one. The doc then stopped the script, as they wanted more info, they called once and left no message nor sent a letter telling me they wanted to speak to me so only found out it was stopped when I went to pick up the script. I then had to speak to a Doc but no appiontments for a few days, his words 'I'm just back from Annual leave so don't really know whats going on' was infurating. Finally got the second dose of the retreament 3 wks late and the general feeling the Doc's don't give two hoots. Nursing staff and reception staff have always been lovely though. But general communication and notes updates seems poor.

This practice has gone from bad to worst wouldn't recommend anyone to get registered with this practice. Poor service. Dr Harkins(male) the worst Dr I ever came across don't think he should be in this profession, no sympathy or care towards patients just treat them as a quick transaction. I think NHS should reprimand drs like these.

Kerr Practice have not Register two of my children.. I registered three children years ago but they only have records of one..?.. The young staffs attitude is disenchanting at least... Cheeky condescending Non helpful tones should be kept at home.. Professionalism isn't much to ask for.. I have been a patient here since I was a child and I didn't have a problem until now...I have never experienced such an attitude from a professional institution.. I hope whomever Is in charge is not oblivious to the bad attitude of young staff

Croftfoot Road Practice. This practice is absolutely atrocious. The level of service is a disgrace. The practice was never great but over the last couple of years has got a lot worse. Shameful.

Avoid if you care about your health !!! This surgery is not fit to trade sending out letters diagnosing serious illnesses without a phone call and then still waiting over 24 hours For a call back for explanation. Any member off staff who works here should be ashamed of yourself and have your medical license suspended
