very very beautiful park for light trail walks ✨ perfect spot for picnic, family walk, dog walk, etc. if you watch closely, you can even look at the far highlands and country side from the otherside of the view point 🏞️

I went on an event to this place. There is view point which gives you nice bird view of glasgow. Children play area is not great with one slide. Butterfly walk was planned at the place, but later cancelled. For jogging around the canal, it will be fun. But overall it was not so great.

Love the claypits! Great for walking and getting out in a bit of nature. So far seen Deer, various birds(I am no expert!), foxes, squirrels. I hope that it continues to be well maintained 😊

This is nearby my home. Love to come here for a walk. The area looks so much better now, a lot of positive work has taken place in there last few years.

Attached to the canal It's a beautiful idyllic spot, well kept, landscaped with a great view point of western Glasgow skyline. Catch it at sunset πŸ˜‰ great for dog walks. Has public transport access, wheelchair friendly also all the way to the view point

A beautiful urban reserve. Most of the flora have been left in a natural state giving the area the feel of a green oasis in the middle of the city. The iconic skyline visible from the viewing point is absolutely stunning!

A splendid addition to a walk along the canal from the city centre to Maryhill locks. Some interesting artworks and a well interpreted network of paths and features. Well worth a visit.

Now that the Clay Pits has been regenerated. It is must better for walking , cycling , fishing, boating and dare I say it but dog walking. I say this as I hope it dosent turn into the way some parks are. Where people are are scared to sit on the grass. Great wee area to introduce the little ones to nature. Plenty of places to have a seat and there's a big & small chute for the kids to enjoy. Only thing I find a shame is that before the regeneration there used to be wild dear that would gather in this area and it was a joy to see them. Right in the middle of Glasgow. Can't see them coming back due to all the Human & dog traffic but you never know.

A very interesting area of hillside looking down on to the canal and over the city. Many of the paths are wheelchair accessible if you don't mind a few slopes.

REALLY GOOD WALK AND PATHS BUT THE VIEWPOINT IS SPOILED BY TALL TREES AND BUSHES BLOCKING THE VIEWS FROM SOME DIRECTIONS. PLEASE PRUNE.

Excellent natural environment, well kept paths, good views, can use the big slide down to a bike hire spot and be in the city centre within minutes. Fantastic resource for our city.

Absolutely worth a visit on a clear day. Great views of the city from the top of the hill and even a wee peek at the Arran Highlands. Pathways due to be expanded, giving a sight line of the city most folk have never seen.
