Hip and cozy cafe with amazing service, great coffee and delicious food right beside the University of Glasgow and kelvin grove park. The second level is a lovely spot to read a book or get some work done. Background music is good too. Oat milk latte is delicious. Avocado, halloumi and bacon sandwich is also filling and reasonably priced at £5.50! Have been here a couples of times and the owner is very personable and has great banter. The place can get quite cold in the winter but in my last visit the owner brought an electric heater to the second floor, which was really kind of him!!

New favourite place. Amazing food and great coffee and I’ve had a lot of bad coffees around the West End. Staff all lovely and kindly made my two year old daughter a babycino which she loved.

I don’t want to study anywhere else! And I stay in the Southside 🙃 I got an amazing oat milk mushroom mix mocha 😌 The owner is a gem who infuses Cafe Tagoo with a community spirit that brings so much joy! Everything is well priced, there’s a wee bookshelf on the second floor with fab classic literature and non fiction picks and you just feel like you’re mates with everyone in the place 🥲 Also the music is so good! Perfect vibe for studying and fun, I feel like I’m on a blissed out party boat in the Mediterranean Sea ☀️ Coming soon: homemade mushroom mix bags you can buy for your home!! ✨ PS: The door says open till 7pm on weekdays, not 6pm as gmaps says

My favourite morning stop before I start my day at work! Amazing (and strong) coffee, I begrudge going anywhere else for my flat white. Lovely pastries and soup too. Fantastic customer service - Ally in particular has always been very hospitable upon every visit. Keep up the great work guys! :)

Amazing coffee, very kind staff, and lovely atmosphere. I sat outside even though it was chilly because the café has a lovely outdoor seating area that’s shielded from the wind (and rain). Sincerely the best coffee I’ve had since moving to Glasgow, and that’s coming from a former barista. I had a macchiato with two shots, soya, and marshmallow syrup (the syrup is lovely, tastes just like marshmallows and is vegan!). The barista was so sweet and even brought the drink to my table outside. I will be back!

We were in the area and in urgent need of baby changing. Cafe owner was lovely and although we didn't eat, if the cafe vibe/ atmosphere/ friendliness of owner is anything to go by the food will be smashing too!

Banging good soup, great atmosphere, relaxed cool guys. I walked all the way up Bytes Road, down Get Western Road, up Woodlands Road and this is the place I went into. Admittedly I had the munchies by then, but I was not disappointed.

this is my fav coffee shop in Glasgow’s west end maybe even the whole city. They don’t charge extra for vegan milks or coffee syrups and the staff are so friendly, always end up having a lovely chat! Try their iced chocolate it’s a must!!

The food, drinks and staff at Cafe Tagoo are fantastic! I had a chai tea with oat milk, which was outrageously good. For lunch I knew I wanted a smoked salmon sandwich with cream cheese, but I was feeling indecisive about exactly what else I wanted on it. The friendly man helping us suggested I try it on ciabatta bread with grilled halloumi (as an American, I hadn't heard of halloumi, but he said it was cheese, so of course I said "sure!"). That turned out to be a great choice! The ciabatta was a perfect balance of toasty and soft, the salmon was delicious, the halloumi was a tasty new experience, and the fresh arugula offered a wonderful balance to it. Yum yum yum!! My hubby ordered The Full Tagoo, and his food was just as good. The fried egg was perfectly cooked to medium, with a beautiful dark orange yolk. We enjoyed our meal at one of the tables in the cozy space upstairs. Cafe Tagoo made us a delicious lunch, the staff treated us like like long-lost friends and their prices were quite reasonable (two meals and a chai for under £20). It was a great experience all-around! Go there. You'll love it.

Really nice, staff are friendly and food is tasty. Just very very quiet, perhaps put on a little ambient music please?

I can't rate this enough. The food was amazing, the staff very friendly and attentive. I have special dietary requirements and nothing was a bother and they made me feel so comfortable and welcome. The best talented chef.
