Photographed a wedding reception here a few months ago! Would definitely recommend the side with of the venue with the beautiful overlook so you have that space for photos, but there are good shared spaces for pictures if you book the other side, such as the courtyard and the garden area. Really loved the stables bar too!

Saint Clements Castle has it going on! This wedding venue is a well-oiled machine and definitely deserves your consideration. First, it’s beautiful. Second, the staff are efficient. And third, people definitely love it (for these reasons and more). As a wedding photographer, I definitely recommended it!

We had our wedding on September 17, 2022 on the Waterford side and it was truly the best experience! The venue itself is gorgeous, from the views of the river, the gorgeous chandeliers, and the perfectly maintained gardens and landscape. On top of that the food was great and then staff was amazing. We worked with Rebecca for the year leading up who helped answer all my questions and kept us organized. The day of, we had amazing planners, Lindsay and Jeri, who were a dream for day of coordination. They helped the entire day run flawlessly, and Jeri was always there to accommodate me and the wedding party with drinks, food, and whatever else we needed. Jeri quickly helped when some pasta spilled on my dress, when I needed something from the bridal suite, and made sure that I ate the day of! I highly recommend this venue!

Attended a beautiful wedding for a friend here today. The ceremony was in the sunken garden and the staff seemed very attentive. The horse drawn carriage bringing the bride to the ceremony was a great touch. Afterwards the cocktail hour was top notch. Now, I'm aware that the bride and groom wanted to have a very special day and they did with lobster rolls at the cocktail hour among carving stations, musicians and so much more.service was great and bartenders were friendly. Dinner had no flaws and food was excellent. My filet, mashed potatoes and asparagus were perfect.Only criticism might be that no wait staff came around to ask if we wanted more wine after they first poured at the beginning of the meal. They grabbed the wine glasses pretty quickly. Overall a very nice event and night.

I cannot say enough about Saint Clements both the location and the staff. We visited Saint Clements right before Covid and my husband and I immediately fell in love. The ground are beautiful. We chose to have our wedding in the Prince Edward side because we got the best of both world. We took our first look pictures by the dock, got married in the garden, and then had the amazing tavern for cocktail hour. The bridal suite for the prince Edward side is huge, and for our giant bridal party we really needed that! Fast forward to actual wedding, it was misting all day, and the moment our ceremony was suppose to start it poured, we went with it and all the staff was so helpful in still making sure it happened. It was still beautiful rain and all. Lindsey, our coordinator, bless her heart was out there in the rain with us, helped me get my now soaking 1000 pound dress all bustled up, and just made it so relaxed I didn’t even care about the rain. The food. Oh My Goodness!!!! 10000 stars. It was incredible. Myself, my husband and family are Italians from NY - food wise they are hard to please and literally everyone is still raving about the food. The steak literally cut like butter and all the cocktail food blew us away. The stations, The Hors d’oeuvres, the bar tending staff made cocktail hour perfect. The staff both leading up to and the day of went above and beyond. Any questions I had they answered within 72 hours, they truly have a real day of coordinator that made our vision come to life, and we’re so attentive. I have celiacs and they made sure to make my life easy by not having to worry about any contamination issues and made the day so perfect. This venue is a 10000 out of 10 and I really recommend anyone having and trusting their special day with Saint Clements!

Birthday party venue for a friend. Absolutely stunning grounds. They had a brunch buffet that had a great variety of eggs, bacon, pasta (delicious), chicken, salmon, and salad. I may have missed a few items, too. There was a pastry bar that had pastries with a jam inside, which were not cooked properly. Waffles with lots of toppings! And a dessert bar which had cupcakes with pistachio frosting and carrot cake absolutely delicious. Of course, there was a bar with flavorful fruit mimosas as well as wines and other liquor choices. It is a wonderful venue I would consider using for showers, weddings, etc. in the future.

I am a wedding photographer from Della Bella Photography based here in Connecticut, and I have had the opportunity to photograph at Saint Clements Castle many times over the years, and this year I have weddings in July, August and September and the staff are always so amazing, the food is awesome and the views are to die for, it really makes my job that much easier. The bridal room is a great place to get ready so you can just show up and get ready, walk to your ceremony and then head to the reception to a beautiful elegant ballroom.

As a photographer, working with great venues is always a plus, but working with a GREAT venue makes my job that much better. I recently photographed a wedding at Saint Clements on 5/25/19 and I have nothing but great things to say. The venue is stunning, and the staff was beyond amazing. From the front desk to the serving staff, all fantastic people! The coordinator Katelyn McKinnon was a joy to work with. She was informative and always around. The bride and groom, as well as other staff and vendors could rely on her for any and everything, most of which she was 2 steps ahead of us on anyway! Another special person to have around that day was Lulu. She attended the bride and grooms every need without hesitation or delay. I can honestly not say enough good things about working with this venue. If you are looking for a beautiful spot with an amazing staff for your big day, don't hesitate to check this place out!

We had my daughters wedding here on Sunday, October 30, 2022. It is a fantastic venue and the staff is beyond anything I have ever seen in service we were treated like royalty everything was perfect. They were very accommodating we had a wonderful experience I would highly recommend them thanks to all the staff and everyone who helped with our wedding, food, service and And the decorations were over the moon thank you all very much

The moment we walked onto the property we knew it was the place for us. The greenery, flowers, view of the river, the stone patio and walkways..and that is all before going inside into the Waterford ballroom! The art gallery and stone fireplace, the deep wood details, authentic decor for the castle, large dance floor were the perfect indoor details. On top of the beauty, the sales manager Rebecca walked us through everything, answered every question promptly, was so polite and pleasant. The support of the day of coordinator, Danielle, was perfect. Not a detail was missed and it was everything I dreamed! The food was excellent, the night was perfect!
