The only reason I’m giving them 3 stars instead of 5 is because they are slow as molasses. They need to start hiring younger, faster people and get rid of all the 65 and up workers in there. It’s a bagel shop, it needs to be faster especially in an area like ours.

I'm not sure why they bother being listed on Seamless/DoorDash. They are constantly closed and even if they show up as open, they will cancel your order. Food is great but it's impossible to order ahead and there's always a long wait in the store.

Nice bagel, generous size of iced coffee for a good price. Nice staff.

Still the best bagels and breakfast sandwiches around. LIBC continues a particular standard of excellence, in actively offering us a cultural staple of New York: the bagel. Whatever your bagel needs, I'm sure you'll be more than pleased. The only locale I'll patron for a bacon, egg, and cheese on a toasted bagel, or a quick dozen (or two) for those group breakfasts.

My absolute favorite Bacon Egg Cheese- Egg Everything. But $7.65!!!! As much as I enjoy the meal that’s not strategically cost-efficient. I paid $4.50 in 2020-2021. Price hike hasn’t jumped that *moon-ish”

Great food and the manager John was great because they gave me the wrong order initially and he was very sincere and replaced it right away. Thank you

Both the bagels and staff here are amazing. You won’t be disappointed by the variety of bagels and spreads. Everything is delicious and fresh!

Bagels are the best in the area. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Great selection of food and bagels. Highly recommended!

If you’re in the mood to wait and then be treated like you’re in the way and they can’t wait to get rid of you AFTER you pay an arm and a leg for bagels, that’s a is the place to go. Absolutely disgusting experience!

I had such a wonderful experience at this establishment. Never had been before, was in the area dropped in. The man who took my order was welcoming, joyful, and precise. My brother and I were checking out and I ran to the drinks to get a chocolate milk, the man said “that’s on the house.” He cooked our egg sandwiches perfect, didn’t rush them or worry about the other customers orders that still needed to be taken. He personally cooked the eggs unlike some other places where who takes your order doesn’t actually do the cooking. Later my brother and I were about finished and the man came out to have his breakfast/lunch and sat near us and started a conversation with us, asking how his eggs were and if everything was well. This is the definition of second mile service and pure hospitality. I will definitely be coming back!

Just finished a Soprano sandwich. One of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. Plenty of meat & cheese - including “gabagol” - roasted peppers. These guys aren’t just bagels. Thanks for a great lunch.

The knish was pretty good, but very thin and flat. I guess to make it cook faster? It tasted like French toast. Didn't have any stuffing for some reason. LEO (lox, egg, onion) on plain bagel was fantastic, except for the bagel itself. Gummy. Probably needs to be toasted to be halfway decent. But there's plenty of great food in between the bagel halves. Also gotta knock some points off inefficient nonsensical and confusing restaurant layout, slow service despite 8+ people behind the counter, low employee morale, and a slight feeling of, "why are you here bothering me? Go away." 6.3 / 10

They always get the order wrong. 99% of the time there are items missing from sandwiches, mainly cheese. But don’t worry, they charge you for it anyway.

The bagel I received was both stiff and chewy at the same time. Convinced the north shore doesn’t have any good bagels. I also got a strawberry nesquick, meanwhile the bottle smelled like gasoline.

Great food. Afternoon employees were friendly and helpful.

My review is based on the cream cheese lox spread. I really feel like they cut corners and cheap out on the loc. This is basically just cream cheese with a little bit of chopped pieces of lox mixed in, not enough to rely taste as a mix spread.

These are the very best bagels! There's usually a long line at peak hours but the staff is efficient and the wait is worth it!

I ordered a breakfast sandwich, and they only put one slice of meat. The previous times, it was made with several slices. What a costly breakfast

I texted in my order a bacon eggs and cheese sandwich I got a text messages saying it would be ready in an hour for 1 sandwich is insane I picked up my order at the time that was texted to me with my order confirmation and my food was cold I will no longer spend my money in a place that service and food quality out way the long lines and inconvenience of either waiting in line for an hour for breakfast or cold food

There's no bagels like New York bagels! So if you're in Glen Cove, this is the closest you'll get to a Brooklyn bagel store!

Friendly and my flagel with a special cream chesse was good but $6.40 is outrageous. Wont be back. Dame bagel is Massapequa and seafoord is $4.00 and $4.60 respectively.

Unfortunately, this is the only halfway decent bagel place around. Just picked up half dozen and only 4 in the bag. Somehow they always forget something.

Used them for catering and delivery and the food was fresh, delicious and enjoyed by all in attendance. Later went to the Glen Cove location and grabbed some bagels, a bagel sandwich and rugelach. No complaints. Food was fresh and delicious, just like the catering order. The owner is helpful and accommodating. Will definitely return... only wish we lived closer!

Just had a catering experience- food was delicious and always looks so nice. Everyone loved the salads and the hero bread was super fresh. The only downside is the crazy long line if you have to pick up on a Sunday morning- even though the catering orders come to the front, people on the regular line think you're cutting. Price to pay for great bagels, I guess. Easy ordering experience.

They cater to online ordering so if u want to just walk in the line is out the door and u r waiting 40 minutes then the order is wrong and what r u going to do wait in line and say order is wrong Only game in toen so have to deal with it But im doing it online

Fresh bagels and spreads. Absolutely delicious.

Just got a lox and cream cheese sandwich. Wish I could post it. Great sandwich. Bagels are awesome. Very busy place with everything fresh, and great tasting. Very clean. John, the manager is obsessed about cleanliness. John and his crew are part of the community and make a sandwich for you like you own the place.

Glen Cove Bagel Cafe has some of the best bagels in Glen Cove! The staff is super friendly and they make your food quickly. They can be a little pricey, but I think it's worth it. If you can't eat dairy, they even have soy cream cheese and it's actually very good, and if you order it on a toasted bagel, you can't tell it's fake cream cheese (because it's heated up). My only critique would be that sometimes the staff members don't listen all that well to your order. For example, I like my bagels toasted very dark and I always make sure to mention that, however sometimes they only put it through the toaster once so it's not toasted dark.
