The Spicy Chicken Sub is delicious, and the very best for miles. Their gyros, hot dogs and burgers are also very good. I have been coming here for years and they are always fast and consistent. Tried the gym shoe sub and it was amazing. Messy but tasted so good. Got the 12" and should have stuck with the regular size. Food was made fresh and fast. Small parking lot but plenty of side street parking if needed. I'll have to stop by a few more times to try other things I saw pictures of that looked good.

So I am finally leaving a shining review for this wonderful place which I first visited December of last year. My family and I were on our way to the Chicago Premium Outlets in Aurora but I mentioned to my wife that I wasn't interested in dining anywhere at the mall. She mentioned she could go for some gyros so I was Googling venues on the way to our destination. There was a slight detour off of the interstates for going to Flip's before making it to Aurora but it was well worth it. Excellent Chicago/Greek grill with tasty food in a cozy dining space, there's outdoor seating as well but it was December in the Chicago area. Extensive menu at reasonable prices and the staff are super friendly. I live all the way up in Beach Park so I'm not sure when's the next time I'll ever make it down here. Understandably there are hundreds of Chicago grill restaurants in Chicago and the suburbs alone but Flip's definitely stands above most I've been to in Lake County. I do love Chicago/Greek grill food and never grows old on me. Always try my best to support local and I hope for continued success & prosperity for the owner(s).

Flip's is a casual Chicago food affair. They have it all from Chicago Vienna Hot Dogs, Gyros and subs. A little on the pricey side but the hot dog i had was very good and was how it should be made. Clean and quick service, Flips is highly recommended if in the Glen Ellyn area and want a taste of the city.

I love going to flips whether it's just for a specialty salad, hot dogs, euros, and a large variety of chicken dishes. The food is always fresh handled cautiously and the servings are large. I would recommend going to flips to anybody.

This neighborhood spot has been here for years - and you will see everyone from local first responders, college students, office workers, and contractors there. Anyone who's in the mood for a tasty, filling meal at reasonable prices. My own favorites are the gyros, cheeseburger, and Reuben. Flips is "the best"! Great food, great service and fantastic people! It's our "go to" when our kids and grand kids come into town for a great, quick meal! Don't even get me started about how good the shakes are!!!!

If you can't find it here .. you aren't looking hard enough. They have an enormous menu. I had a patty melt the first time, and a gyros the second both were good. They have a ton of creative sandwiches, and burgers. It is exactly what you want out of a local fast food joint. Not a ton of inside seating, but not a deal breaker. I would go back again in a heartbeat.

Flips is the best,!! We had a hamburger,polish sausage,hot dog and fries,plus a small Greek salad and the food was excellent.Better prices than Portillos. We went to Flips on 5-22 around 1pm and the woman employee who took my order was so friendly and helpful,answering my questions about the menu. After we got our food to go from the pick up counter she even made the effort to say thank you and goodbye from the ordering area when we were walking out the door.I will definitely be a returning customer.

Great food fast. From salads, hot dogs, gyros (so good) to beef sandwiches. The only hotdog stand in our area that is more than a hotdog stand. The full big menu has a lot to choose from. Service is fantastic. The food is always fresh and hot!

I love Flips! It is one of my favorite restaurants to go to in Glen Ellyn. They are very fast with getting food out to each customer. They always give fresh amazing food and have a ton of options! Flips is one of the best restaurants in our Glen Ellyn area. Someone (or several of us) from our family stops at Flips at 2-3 times a week (Closed on Mondays). Some of our favorites: Italian Beef sandwich with peppers, the Greek salad, the double hot dog special, the cheeseburger, the barbecue ribs…. Their French fries are so good! AND they make glorious Shakes with many flavor choices! The staff is friendly, accommodating and efficient! You can choose between indoor and outdoor dining or carry out. Flips also provides delicious food for special catering occasions. The extensive menu allows for a wide variety of dishes to choose from. I love coming here. The food is good and consistent. Service is quick. The places is always clean. The owner is always cleaning the place. I have had the gyros and hot dogs, and fries. They don't have free refills, which surprised me. Yet, I'm OK with having to pay for a refill.

Half of my order was missing and I ordered through Grubhub. I called Flips to explain the situation and they told me that they were busy and that it was the driver’s fault. I’m glad I spent $92 on chicken tenders and burgers to have half of it missing. Expect issues without resolve.

11am stop in for a gyro. Been stopping at flips since years before the addition.. today gyro was next to ice cold.. funny we waited a decent amount of time before getting our order! Took back said it’s cold, think they threw in the fryer for a minute.. still was cold.. maybe luke warm now.. but greasy as can be.. pita was soaked in grease. Well, don’t see guy who use to care about the place here any more.. and you probably won’t see me here again either!

Our family can’t say enough good things about Flips!! From the incredibly friendly staff to the delicious food and generous portion sizes, it’s always an overall great experience. The gyros are the best around, the saganaki squares are addicting, and the chicken tenders are a huge hit with our kids. We love this place!!

Good little hot dog, Italian beef, and gyros place. The portioning and cooking temps have been inconsistent since Covid or I would rate it 5 stars. Still a great place to eat though.

I love going here for food. A great selection of food. I love the saganaki squares and flavored milkshakes. My favorite Gyros then anywhere because they are loaded and cooked to well done and the pita is always fresh. Always a huge portion of food without very high prices. They specialize any order!! Fast and friendly service even when it is busy.

Kind of pricey for a fast food joint, but the food is AWESOME!! I HIGHLY recommend their Mediterranean dinner. They don't have a drive thru, but I'll gladly get out of my car and go inside to order their delicious food

Our first time here & it was Great! No wait we sat outside & enjoyed the weather. They give an abundance of food so we have leftovers. We will have to come back because there's so much great options to choose from.

What a gem! The food is plentiful, splendid ands delicious! I've been working through then menu and so far have not ran across anything that was just awesome. I work at COD (College of DuPage) as a contractor and was introduced to the menu by the boys in facility engineering. Keep up the awesome job!

I'm just now finding this little gem after living in the area for 10 years.. this place is FANTASTIC! Amazing gyros..Their fried Saganaki appetizer is so 🔥. Highly recommend this place. It's also affordable with big portions. Definitely going to be one if my new favorite spots

I love this place! The food never disappoints and I’ve had a number of items on the menu including the hungry Greek Dinner, Reuben sandwich w/ egg, and the Flipped Finger Feast. I’ve ordered in person and for pick up and it’s always been ready quickly/on time. Staff is friendly and polite. What’s not to love?

I’ve always loved coming to Flips! Their gyros can’t be beat!! I also really enjoy their Chicago style hot dogs. Today my husband and I got to meet the owner’s son, Bobby. Super nice guy! I’ve been coming here for about 10 years and the employees have always been great. The food is good quality and flavorful. The portions are amazing!! Today, for the first time, we ate out on Flips patio. Why have I never eaten out there before?! The fountain was a nice touch and the pergola with the vines make you feel like you’re not even right on Roosevelt rd.
