On Saturday I visited this park and this was my second time here, as I had visited it once last autumn. I had a grand time and found it actually very, very relaxing and then I slept very well that night. I pretty much explored the entire park and kept walking about to see everything. Still as I said I found it very refreshing even though I wasn't sitting as most people do. I loved the hiking trails. Some of the trails go through a wooded area and there is a little bridge you can pass over and there's a stream under it. This area is also along the river and you can see some great views! Its very spectacular if you love nature. Lots of tall towering trees too. The trees looked old and stately. The one bridge that leads from the parkhouse to the nature trail was closed but you can still get onto the trail by going around to the left - very easy! There are also trails that lead down to the river area too so lots of hiking opportunities in this park but the trails are all kind of level and easy. Still I had great fun exploring this area - except if you are going down to the river - that bit is steep. I also recall last autumn coming across a swing hanging from a tree somewhere in the hiking area - it was a very pleasant surprise and totally unexpected! I didn't see it yesterday but I am sure its there somewhere. There is another hiking trail on the other side of the main road that runs through the park and it curves around a large field and ends near the sledding hill & archery course. Yes this park has an archery course! I actually saw people using it too! That's what those huge things in the field are - the targets. Lots of picnic areas, baseball diamonds, soccer fields, kiddie play areas and all sorts of stuff. This is a really huge park! And part of it even extends past the waterfall to the south, on the other side of that old train bridge. There's another big grassy field there. And the waterfall is stunning! Its not too tall but its very wide and has a curving shape. While I was there I actually saw a huge dark colored fish try to jump up the waterfall! That was the last thing I had expected to see. Oh and I also spotted a small neat painted rock along the hiking trail. See if you can see it too when you visit! The parkhouse was closed during my visit. There is a portable bathroom right by it. You know the sort. And there is a fantastic view from the top of the sledding hill too. In fact this was my favorite place in the whole park. There is also a Little Free Library located in this park and its currently packed full of books. Would be a great place to sit and read. I certainly plan on visiting this park more!

Nice area and the play area is nice. There are ample spots for peaceful fishing. The water is beautiful and there are small trails in the forest area. There are no public restrooms and the portapotty is really not kid friendly so we have to rush home for the bathroom or bring a kiddy potty with us. There was a small gathering at the Pavillion and bathrooms were opened and parents mentioned it was disgusting.

Narrow-ish sledding hill with good incline. Best time to visit is evenings or afternoons on school days- when it is not too crowded.

Birthday at the park Jordan, my first great-grandson who turns 5 on the 22nd. He is pictured with his older sister Hendrix. There is also a picture of his cousin Penelope ❤️ (my third great-granddaughter) with her Dad.

Still an amazing park. Trails, waterfall, lots of places to fish from. Rarely ever busy, back on the trails. I really enjoy this park. It's a special place in the middle of the city where you can still get away from it all. 04/23 still a great park! Seems like more birds are here now tooooo!

Absolutely beautiful Park to walk around. Bird watching is fun as well. I enjoy all the trails along the river and exploring as the seasons change. Way too many people walk around with dogs off leash however, putting other dogs at risk and not realizing that some people are afraid of dogs and don't like them running up to them. The city could write dozens of tickets a day if they sat here.

Such a pleasant park. Lots of family events going on. The park is large enough that at least 7 families are having reunions and they aren't even close to each other. This park has pavilions and open air spaces for reservations. Great for a walk. Hidden river for fishing. Great park!

Good place outside of all the overprivelaged ppl walking around in the road thinking it's a bloody sidewalk.

This park is great for walking. I've always had wonderful memories at this park. My brother got married at Kletzsvh Park and the ceremony was beautiful. The park is perfect for picnics, children and biking. This park isn't designed for dogs but a lot of people enjoy walking them peacefully with no issues. Great place to just relax and enjoy the fresh air.

Sometime there are too many people in my way when I go rollerblading. However, Kletzsch Park has some if the best inline skating ground I have ever bladed on. That is because the cement used for the sidewalk has very small fine grain, and the diner the grain the better it is to rollerblade on. In addition, Kletzsch Park is probably the only place I know of that actually has enough distance with pretty good blading ground for me to complete my rollerblading workout.

Very nicely kept, with lots of walking paths. Cool waterfall and bridge down one of the paths.

Absolutely stunning! Beautiful and clean. Allot of room and sit areas for parties and picnics, plus open bathrooms. Trails and a little waterfall where you see fisherman and salmon jumping up stream. Noticed ALLOT of other areas of activities, would need more than a day to check everything out. Perfect area to have memorable photos taken. Definitely a place to return anytime of year.

I enjoy taking my kids to the sledding hill. The front center hill has a lot of moguls (be prepared). Some children have taken the back paths through the wooded area and can be dangerous.

It has a small, relaxing to watch, waterfall...an asphalt(?) walkway runs thru the whole park...there's 2 ballparks (I think 1 for softball & 1 for hardball)...a >Limited Amt< of woodsy area to meander thru...an archery section, at least I think it's still there...I've seen ppl fishing, so I guess it's allowed...great for jogging...as far as I know, it's virtually crime free...a road runs thru it, but traffic is light & ppl drive safely...a pretty tall hill to run up & down, if you want to practice some HIIT type exercising (you'll get a Good Workout)...lots of grassy area...lots of shady or sunny sections...parking is good...very clean...I >don't think< there are tennis courts😢...bike friendly. IMO, it's a very nice, centrally located patch of nature for all to enjoy.

Love this park. From the waterfall to the archery to the secret hiking trails to the admittedly not great sledding hill, this is a fantastic park. It’s been a wonderful park for walking the dog, fishing, archery lessons, baseball, practice, and even the occasional parade.

I loved the area we were in. We had plenty of shade and not far from the Milwaukee River. If you like to fish 🐟 it was possible.

plenty of paths & picnics, partially problematic, particularly pertaining to the portable toilets, presently leaving some pleasantness to be desired. alliterative phrasing aside, I treasure this park and the waterfall is spectacular
