We went to the store 8/28/21 (Saturday afternoon)to this store in Glendale and my wife saw this. I can’t believe how disgusting the restroom was. They definitely need to hire more professional cleaning staff.

I came to the store in the evening on 5/20/23 and experienced the worst customer service with a female employee named Adriane on the Women’s Shoe department. After politely asking for a size, she communicated with a rude attitude and in an irritated, raised tone asked me what sizes I needed. Eventually, she came back to let me know there were no sizes left. However, Instead of handing me the box of shoes or placing it on the floor/couch, she tossed the box in front of my feet. Then, she diverted me to a different sales associate and left. Luckily, the other employee treated me how all human beings should be treated… WITH RESPECT. I was so upset I went to Customer Service to complain and was able to speak about the incident to that department’s manager, Jimmy. Although, he was professional and very understanding… I think this review will further help others steer clear of that unacceptable behavior from that particular employee. Lastly, I do hope management will have her undergo customer service training refreshers, as she clearly isn’t cut out for customer service. Respectfully, 10 Years Loyal Nordstrom Customer

Awesome experience. Went in just to get a gift wrapped. Stoke up a conversation, so pleasant great job on the package and gave me a great price to boot.

I recently got a new job in a professional setting and needed to seriously upgrade my wardrobe. I used the free styling service and booked with Pernilla. I have never been happier. She picked clothes that pushed my safe styling routine but they still felt authentic to me. She was great about showing me a variety of pieces that were within budget with a few "dream"/future pieces thrown in to see how my style could expand. I am completely in awe of my professional-style transformation. Pernilla is an incredible stylist and I absolutely recommend her. My hour long session turned into a few hours and she was still accommodating me long after the appointment. Such a fun experience! I will definitely be back. (A few examples but definitely not all of the pieces I purchased!) Also this Tory Burch fragrance -- I wish I purchased bc it's so refreshing. Next time!

Great sale on coats ...everything is 250$ no kidding. Sale price. Off those racks. Flooded with jackets and and non on the floor...just pushed up against walls anywhere they had room...all the same low price 250...jeepers...I got a blue one...it's like 🧈 butter!

My least favorite of the LA area stores. The least amount of merchandise and it's consistently difficult to get any customer service here, let alone good customer service. The staff are always too busy talking to one another or just standing around unsmiling and rude instead of being helpful. I prefer driving to Santa Anita, the westside, or Orange County for better service and better selection.

The brand Americana Nordstrom is a good but not amazing outpost of the department store chain. I grew up going to the Walnut Creek Nordstroms, but I've also been to the one in San Francisco, San Diego, Orange County and Seattle. This Nordstrom is in the second of the two tiers they have, a mall location vs an urban stand alone. It's nice enough inside just not particularly robust in terms of the selection relative to the bigger locations

Excellent service staff, higher quality clothes and other products, but also more expensive. Great to shop here during their sale days for better quality products that last longer. 🙂

I always receive great service from the sales reps even when they are busy. And this particular Nordstrom feels like a community and become my go to. I always look for certain sales reps and have never experienced anytime of pushy sales people.

BEST TAILORING service ever by A. BEYATRES AGOOB! She is an amazing seamstress and tailor, and exceeded our expectations in both fitting and tailoring! For even the best high end department store, her skills are noteworthy. She was working in the Men's department, after normal business hours, and provided the fastest and most accurate fit and tailoring we've ever had - and we always have to alter something when we buy nice brands off the rack. Did I mention for small rush fee she completed our alterations ON THE SAME DAY!?! We shop here again specifically because of her expert skill at making my partner look amazing fir a very important last moment work event. We hope she's there long term and we will get to use her expert tailoring skills again!

I had a great experience in picking up my order. Peter was very helpful and provided excellent costumer service! But, I cant say the same thing about you Dior make up counter employee.

I want to give a huge shoutout to Derek in men’s shoes. Despite being very busy, he took the time to go above and beyond, giving me a world class service experience. Derek is an embodiment of the service Nordstrom has always been known for, and is a true asset. Thank you! JJ was also a pleasure to work with, and deserves a shoutout as well.

The store rep confirmed that the Gucci shoes that I wanted to purchase were available at their location before arriving. I drove over an hour to purchase the shoes since it was the only location with the shoe size. The store rep tried to sell me the Gucci shoes that were on display that had damages, missing the extra shoe laces and the authenticity cards. Bad customer service! The manager did not assist and only apologized for their employee's mistake.

I recently went to this Nordstrom location for the first time. I was looking for a pair of Dior slides for a Bday gift. I was immediately greeted and welcome by Joselyne, she was super helpful trying to locate the exact pair I wanted since this location didn’t carry designer! She was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive! I was really impressive with her customer service! Thank you! I will be back to shop for myself next time with Joselyne.

I wish I could give zero star for the assistant manager at Norstorm, Priscilla. She is rude, not helpful and accusing the customer who was trying to return a defected item they received. The problem was helped out by another employee quickly, which shows the difference between customer service.

I always loved Nordstrom but I liked it better when they were at the Galeria they had better selection of clothing they had more variety. I don't like it at the Americana sorry guys .I miss the beautiful hats that they carried and beautiful clothing for every size ,my friends would always ask me where did I buy my jewelry or clothing a d I would proudly say NORDSTROMS.Please guys bring back your old buyers.

I worked at this Nordstrom for 3 months in 2015. I’ve never shopped here since, and have never gotten over the way I was treated here by the women in my department, and management. I’ve been at my job now for 7+ years after I left, and I love it.

I went into this Nordstrom to just look around but me and my dad ended up leaving buying sunglasses. We were helped by Sophia K, she was very knowledgeable about the product and you can tell she is an amazing person. I got to learn about where she wants to go to school in the future during the process. She went above and beyond to help me find the perfect pair of sunglasses and even though the register said that was the last pair she still went on to double check. I am so grateful she was around to help and due to her amazing personality it didn't feel like someone was upselling but in a way just giving you an opinion from a friends perspective. I will for sure be coming back to this location and looking for Sophia when I need sunglasses again!

It was decent shopping here, but people on the sales floor in the men's department are a bit stuck up and won't approach you to ask you if you need help. They would just stay in a group and chitchat. I only found what I needed because I was passing by a guy organizing the clothes and was finally asked if I needed help. After finding what I needed, there was a longer line to pay, and the only nice employee Daniel V. offered to take us to another counter to check us out, and even offered to wrap the shirt I bought. We saw Daniel remove 1 security tag from the shirt l got for my nephew, but somehow, when my nephew opened his gift, there was another security tag attached to the shirt. This isn't Daniel's fault, so I gave my nephew the receipt. Hopefully, he can get the tag removed.

Customer Service Third Floor Restaurant. Our party of 8 walked into the restaurant at the Americana in Glendale around 12:30 on Dec. 27, 2022. There were very only three tables occupied at that time and we had no problem getting seated as requested on two tables of 6 and 2. We were told that there were no menu items which required frying available, which was fine with us. We ordered soon before more customers arrived. There were only two or three waiters working at that time so the service was slow but the table beside us, seated after us, were served before us. None of our orders were complicated with special substitutions. My friend who used to work in the building opposite, brought us there because it was her favorite place for lunch. She was embarrassed with the service and had to stand up a couple of times to ask for service. One time, she stood up because the only waiter around was having a conversation with the bar man and both were totally ignoring her. Classic Coke was served instead of the Diet ordered. We had to ask for Parmesan cheese for our pasta. A waitress rolled her eyes at one of us who made another request. In other words, we constantly had to get the attention of any waiter we could flag down because the services which were supposed to be basic, were not delivered. This is NOT, NOWHERE NEAR, the quality of service we regularly receive at the Nordstrom in Palo Alto. We were ready to have an easy after Christmas meal and instead left dissatisfied with the diminished menu and the abominable service. The excuse nowadays is that it is hard for establishments to get or retain good staff. If you cannot keep up the quality of your service, then even the customers you still attract will stop patronizing your restaurant.

I went to Nordstrom today to get some things from Chanel and the Chanel girl Amy was super sweet and helpful she made my experience there amazing! She had the best customer service I had ever had in Chanel and in Nordstrom!

Omg! I cannot even say how much I love the customer satisfaction at this Nordstrom. Erica C, the manager of Advanced Skincare is truly the best associate to help you. Not only is she kind, but she always helps me find something accordingly to my needs. Any promlems I have with my skin, I go to her. She is the sweetest! Carmine, the store manager is also amazing. If I am unsattisfied with anything around the store, he makes sure it is taken care of right away. Have been shopping here with Erica for about 2 years, and I always return to her!

Nordstroms at The Americana is a beautiful store and the location is excellent. You won't be disappointed. The store is well merchandised and the service is excellent. It's loads of fun shopping at this store and enjoying the Americana. There's reataurants, a movie theatre and a trolley. It's such a great area to shop, eat and have fun.

I was here with my partner a few days ago to test some perfumes as a gift for her birthday and received atrocious customer service from what I have to assume was a floor manager in the perfume department. My partner was looking at a bottle of Jo Malone on a shelf and up behind us came an employee who reprimanded my partner for touching a bottle that wasn't part of the testers. There was no one to greet us outside of this person whom of which offered no "hello" or "how can I help you". At the very least he could've asked what scent she was interested in to redirect us to the bottles they prefer we'd use. Instead he made her feel so uncomfortable that we just left. I've gone to this location to purchase perfumes and colognes before, but I can't say I'll be returning any time soon if this is the kind of treatment that customers should expect to receive.

Bought a pair of chucks and jeans from here a couple hours ago. These nice ladies named Jocelyn and Jessica helped me out in those different departments and were very patient :) Thank you ❤️ Also thank you to the dude that helped grab my Chanel cologne. Very polite :)

Stopped in to in search of a mens, light jacket. Beautiful store and a wonderful location. Armand was very helpful and found a perfect jacket for me.

Love it for today there is one person in purfum cosmetic always there for me so nice American lady if she is there when I go ,but the rest of it can't say it ,over price and simple things or mostly on line or out of stock so just waste of time and money I can get on line from Europe,Englandext...,can't say name of countries I grew up there clothing and my own fsmilyyyyy.

Had amazing experience! Came in looking for a dress and found exactly what I wanted. Shoutout to Jessica, I really appreciate all of your help.
