Lupo Lab is our go-to for breakfast, lunch and dinner! My Italian partner loves the authentic flavours, homemade pasta and dishes that remind him of home. Always delicious and the staff are friendly and passionate about their food and coffee! We feel good eating here, knowing their ingredients are locally sourced or direct from Italy. After one conversation with owner Mirko, you can clearly see his passion for Roman food, specialty coffee and the great community he has created at Lupo Lab.

I have dined at Lupo Lab many times since they have opened, it's one of my favourite local restaurants. Whether I have had a quick coffee, lunch or dinner, I have always had fantastic service and food. The owner has always been lovely and friendly. Always greets me with a smile and genuinely looks happy to see his customers. I have brought my pram in a few times and also my very active toddler and they have always been very accommodating. Highly recommend their homemade pastas and I'm absolutely obsessed with their cured salmon for breakfast.

This was my first time here and was disappointed. Food overall was nice. Service was very average. We had been sitting there for 25 mins before someone even took our order. Walked off before we could even order drinks so we didn't bother. The food came out in oddest order. Our starter was the last thing to come out. Ordered the pane (rustic Italian sourdough) gfo + dfo. They had forgotten it so when we got our mains I asked for it and they rushed it out. The gf option was literally 4 slices of gf toast that I assume was bought from woolies. Except wasnt toasted for long enough, the slices were warm and soggy. I feel like if you're going to advertise sourdough with a gf option then I want at least home made gluten free bread, not 4 pieces of soggy store brought toast. If you're going to give me toast then tell me that so i can decide whether i want to pay for it or not. The truffle butter i dont think was the dairy free option as I ended up on the toilet a few times after eating it. Not once did anyone ask us how our meal was so I couldn't give the feedback about the bread and it was hard to get a waiter's attention. I ordered the goat and was told the goat wasn't available so was given a bolognaise instead which didn't really compare. Great chips although if you're going to advertise the chips as df you probably shouldn't be serving it with aoli which isn't dairy free? I could take or leave this place.

**BEWARE THIS IS NOT A REAL LAB** I went here with my grandson to show him some cool science experiments, only to find out that Lupo LAB is indeed NOT a real lab. My poor grandson was very upset as he is an aspiring biologist. Food was quite tasty though. Thanks

Just had a fabulous dinner at Lupo Lab. Absolutely love the fresh pasta. Simple, delicious and unpretentious. Excellent service. A very busy night in the restaurant. I would recommend booking a table in advance.

Very cozy and friendly but classy atmosphere, the pasta was incredible as was the truffle fries and grilled octopus. Excellent service from the staff, they were all very polite and welcoming and were very quick to pick up on when we were waiting to order. Food only took about five minutes to come out despite the restaurant being quite busy. An excellent experience and will invite friends and family to join us next time

Great addition to Mt Hawthorn. My coffee was amazingly good. The chili scrambled eggs were very nice and the smashed avocado with feta and rocket was very well received. Great spot! Finally managed to get here for dinner with friends. Friday night - very busy but we were put in the roastery room. Fabulous for us and the food and service were exceptional! My last minute decision to order burrata was inspired. Lovely silky cheese with mixed tomatoes!! My Snapper fillet was perfectly cooked. Gnocchi was excellent and the sea food platter was extremely good. So glad you were able to squeeze us in.

Fairly good food! Recommended. Servings are just right, not too large. On the pricier side but the flavour is brilliant. Recommended!

The food was amazing so its a shame to leave a poor review. I was very disappointed with the baristas service and attitude. We asked for hot coffee but got warm. When we mentioned this to him he takes our coffee and puts it in the microwave telling us that's the only way it can be done. Disappointed and disrespectful. Never experienced this anywhere else and other baristas have no problem making it hot

Traditional Italian food with a few little twists, pasta cooked exceptionally and at a fair price. Bustling restaurant with a clean contemporary interior, would recommend checking out.

Checking out the coffee options in the new neighbourhood. A big tick and a win for Lupolab.

Excellent food. Delicious mushroom gnocchi. Very mushroomy. Excellent proper carbonara with perfect pasta. The best caprese cake we've ever tasted and the best tiramisu we've found so far in Perth. Great service. We enjoyed our lunch so much! Great spot. Will definitely come back.

We dined here on a cold and wet Saturday night. Food was so delicious and well presented. The cocktails were equally delicious and our Italian wine was perfectly matched to our hearty meat dishes. The menu selection was expansive enough to satisfy the taste buds of everyone. As was the drinks list. Staff were attentive and made the dining experience that much better. Highly recommended.

First time here with the family. Friendly staff, good service, food was on point. Chicken cooked to a T. Rest of the fam enjoyed their pasta, gnocchi and pork belly.

Didn’t have a reservation for inside only outside but they got us a table inside upon arrival. Staff are very nice and have good awareness of when we were finished with our entrée to move on to the mains. Food tasted great and there was a good portion size for the dish. Unfortunately we were charged for an alcoholic beverage that we didn’t order but it was easily resolved and a refund given as soon as I asked.

My partner and i dined here on Saturday night and the food was fabulous, he had the lamb cacciatora and I had the pappardelle ragu. We also shared the meatballs and bread/olives dish as an entree but inhaled it before I could get a photo to post too. Great food and interesting drinks! Service was a little rushed but they were very busy, if you plan to go on a weekend make sure you have a reservation

Great friendly staff, loved the gluten free options/variety. I had the mushroom gnocchi and I can't wait to go back and eat it again. Also had a delicious slice of tiramisu. Will return soon to try the breakfast menu.

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful meal at this restaurant. The pork belly skin was crispy and the meat was tender. Tasted exceptional with the sauce and jam. The grilled octopus was crunchy and fresh. Lastly, one of the best squid ink spaghetti we’ve had. A five star experience for a very reasonable price.

Amazing food, everything was perfectly balanced and seasoned and we enjoyed ourselves very much. Highly recommend the fresh pasta - portions were just right and the texture was fantastic. Such a cute ambience and the staff were so sweet as well, will be one of my go tos from now on ❤️

I would honestly say that I had the best meal in Perth at Lupolab. Everything was absolutely delicious, do not miss the gnocchi! The bar is great with several options, I don't know much about drinks and the bartender guided me and made drinks according to my taste and they were just amazing! Would come back one and many times.

Food was incredible came out within a decent time frame didn’t need to wait too long. Tasted amazing not too filling at all. Service was perfect everyone was very happy !

The aesthetic was pleasing to the eye and staff were friendly and welcoming. I got the fennel salad with chicken added, the chicken kind of overpowered the rest of the flavours of the salad and I couldn’t really taste anything else and the orange seemed like it had been cut up a while ago and left out because it had no flavour. I would have like a little bit more pomegranate to balance out the overpowering saltiness of the chicken. The dressing was also a bit bland. I’ve seen the good reviews about the rest of the menu, which looks amazing, I was going to give 3 stars based on the salad alone but I think maybe they were having an off day and the staff were lovely.

Dined in Lupolab for the first time, great customer service and atmosphere. The quality of the food isn’t that great for its price, we tried the seafood and beef raggu fettuccine pasta and i believe they hand make it, what disappointed me was the carbonara, i think it was undercooked which made the texture of the pasta hard, still tasted like authentic carbonara, but i believe you can easily cook your own carbonara at home. Personally, I don’t think I’ll be back the second time. I still enjoyed trying out this restaurant, their vanilla cheesecake for dessert was amazing, and they have a cool variety of drinks/cocktails.

Lupo Lab operates in a highly competitive market, Italian restaurants and cafes in Perth’s Italian Mecca; Mt Hawthorn/ Leederville. You know any restaurant that survives here is a testament to great food and drinks. Lupo Lab doesn’t disappoint, along with the great food, the restaurant is complemented with attentive service. The seafood platter was flavoursome and delicious, along with the accompanying Mediterranean salad.

Great restaurant serving fresh and delicious food. The pastas were authentic and well enjoyed. I had the vegetarian lasagne and the filling was light and so tasty. It was nice to have a cheesy filling instead of the typical tomato based sauce. Very fresh indeed. Desserts were so yummy. Great service. And real funky vibe.

Food is fantastic, so was the service. We went to Lupolab for my sons 21st and we could not have picked a better place based on the food, service and setting. I highly recommend the seafood platter and the Crab pasta. Flavours in everything were outstanding, wine was lovely and Daniel who served us couldn't do enough to make the evening memorable. We will definitely come back

Pasta was perfection. We went for lunch, service was great and food came out really promptly after ordering. You must order the gnocchi!! We will be returning. Highly recommend.

I love almond milk lattes but it can be hard to find a good one. The almond milk latte at Lupo Lab is the best I’ve tasted. The food and service is also fantastic!

Took a group of friends here for lunch today (I've only ever been for breakfast previously) and we all had a great experience. As always, very welcoming and professional service, and fantastic food. I had the seafood platter special and was so pleasantly surprised... Seafood platter type dishes are so often heavy and stodgy with a reliance on batter or chips, but this was just beautiful local seafood cooked to perfection with a lovely fresh salad and asparagus - absolutely perfect.

This is my second time in this restaurant, and both days I have exeprienced bad customer service. But I will talk about the second day as I just can't get over it. Yesterday I went to pickup one takeaway order, Noone bothered hasking me what I was there for... as if I was non existent...one of the waiters actually went overboard and dared to serve other clients (caucasians) who came after me. These italian waiters are racist!!!!

Highly recommended Four of us had dinner on a Saturday night here, awesome food and really great service. It was a very busy evening and the food though a little slow not unexpectedly.... the manager gave us a gratis drink foe the delay. See ice was amazing and we never waited for a drink and all the questions answered. We had the beef cheeks 👌 The owner showed us around and we even bought some of their house roasted coffee. Spectacular

This restaurant is superb. It has excellent service, a uniquely Italian flavour to its wine list, wonderful euro styled food. All wrapped up in a no rush, relaxed, come again( and we will) atmosphere.

My second time eating here after a while and I must say they delivered the first time and followed through again! UNBELIVABLE authentic food, hands down one of the best PROPER carbonara I've tried in Perth (only 2 places worth eating carbonara) this is one of them! Not to mention the coffee which was unreal, best espresso I've had in years. Take my hat off to these guys coming from 18 years of cooking background! GRAZIE MILLE!
