So
my
dentist
office
that
I
have
been
going
to
since
I
was
a
kid
no
longer
excepts
the
insurance
carrier
that
I
have.
My
mom
was
a
hygienist
there
10
plus
years
ago
and
have
been
going
there
well
after
she
retired.
Trying
out
this
dentist
office,
I
had
some
bad
experiences.
First
off
booked
online
and
they
couldn't
find
the
appointment,
no
problem
they
still
got
me
in.
Really
nice
people,
everyone
is
professional.
I
was
there
for
1.5
hours
and
ended
up
getting
a
tooth
flossing
and
polish
which
took
all
of
5
minutes
(not
exaggerating).
There
was
no
scraping/cleaning
of
build
up,
they
wanted
to
charge
out
of
pocket
saying
insurance
doesn't
cover
this.
The
only
section
needing
anything
was
back
of
front
teeth
for
light
plaque
buildup
and
they
wanted
to
charge
extra
for
this.
So
I
gave
them
the
benefit
of
the
doubt
and
contacted
the
insurance
company
to
verify
what
should
be
covered
and
sure
enough
insurance
provider
confirmed
that
its
preventative
maintenance
and
a
cleaning
should
have
been
part
of
their
service.
Wont
be
going
back
and
neither
will
any
of
my
family.
Now
we
are
in
search
of
an
honest
less
salesy
dentist
office
that
will
actually
do
a
regular
basic
cleaning.
Update:
So
I
discussed
with
management
the
issue
and
they
had
me
come
back
in
and
did
a
basic
cleaning
of
my
teeth
for
what
the
insurance
company
would
pay,
no
out
of
pocket
expense.
Again
extremely
nice/professional
people
but
no
one
could
tell
me
why
I
wasn't
offered
this
service
the
first
time
I
was
out
to
get
my
teeth
cleaned,
I
was
only
offered
a
deep
clean
which
goes
into
the
gum
line
some
is
how
they
explained
the
difference.
My
comment
to
them
at
the
time
is
that
all
I
want
is
what
the
insurance
company
will
pay
for.
I
updated
from
1
out
of
5
to
3
out
of
5
and
my
wife
and
I
will
try
them
again
in
6
months
and
we
will
see
how
that
plays
out.
