My girlfriend and I went to Hugo’s for Valentine’s Day and we were absolutely blown away by the food and overall experience. The restaurant has a wonderful vibe to it and the staff was very friendly and attentive. Hugo himself brought our entrees to the table which was a great additional touch and showed how much he cares about his guests. All menu items we tried had great flavors, were beautifully plated and were just the perfect amount based on the course. My favorite dishes of the evening were the apple soup and the Scallops over Risotto. We can’t wait to come back!

We chose this place while traveling from the Midwest. We chose it based on the reviews, atmosphere and menu. When we arrived, we were greeted by the owner/chef himself, Hugo. He was so nice he even pulled my chair out for me to sit down when he seated us. I also saw him help an older lady into her chair when seating her later on. The food and drinks were superb as others described. There were also kids there and they had good music and vibes. Hugo shook some people's hands when they were finished dining to show his gratitude. The other thing that I really loved is that my 6 y.o. daughter left her stuffed animal moose behind when we left and we didn't notice. When we were in our car driving away, we saw Hugo walking down the road with her moose and he gave it to us through the window. What a good human! If you are looking for fine dining, give your business to this amazing resturant.

My favorite combination of low key and nice dinner. You can’t go wrong with the short rib and the calamari. The specials are typically a strong item as well. Oh and also the chicken lollipops are great. Come as a family dinner or a nice dinner with a friend. A nice bonus is the points system. Earn a free meal. Super easy to sign up. It’s on the bill.

Fabulous presentation!! Absolutely delicious food, worth every moment and every penny! Very kind staff and quiet but peppy environment. Comfortable, clean, totally enjoyed our time. Highly recommend the shrimp and pork chop! Dessert cannot be skipped either!

We absolutely love this place! We’ve never had a bad experience nor a bad meal here! Everything is incredible! Apps, meals, drinks, and deserts! Always a great experience.

My husband and I recently celebrated our anniversary at Hugo’s. Hands down, it was the best meal we’ve had in a long time. Start to finish, everything was delicious. Our server Pamela was great. Well done everyone, we’ll be back very soon.

We came to Glenwood Springs for my son's birthday. We wanted a nice dinner with quality food. Hugo's did not disappoint. The food was amazing. Service was fast, and our waitress was attentive.

We visited Hugo’s for our 10th wedding anniversary and we’re SO pleased with the service, food and ambiance. My husband and Hugo emailed back and forth and they were happy to make reservations for us, as we were visiting from Denver and needed to make sure we would have a place to celebrate. Hugo was SO accommodating. Was the only place in town who was. We would definitely recommend Hugo’s for a nice dinner or special occasion. Our meals were spectacular! We had the shrimp pasta and beef tenderloin.

Some of the most delicate delicious filling food I have had in a long time. I travel for work and eat out alot. This was phenomenal and I would recommend Hugo's to anyone looking for a great experience and excellent food and service. We will be back.

I should have taken a picture of our food. It was super yummy. Braulio was our waiter and the service was great. He brought a bowl of water for our pup and was on top of service the entire time. We ate calamari. Some of the best I have ever had. We also got med rare hamburgers, and the meat was actually cooked to the perfect temperature. We upgraded to truffle fries. I will definitely come back.

We’re a party of 2 adults and 2 kids and were very pleased with everything that we ordered, Calamari, Roasted Beet Salad, Salmon, Halibut, Tortellini Special, even the kids’ burgers were cooked to perfection! Great alcohol menu, very kind and prompt service. OMG! The list just keeps going on. Let’s say…. I would travel here just to enjoy their food!! Well done, Hugo’s!!

This is a hidden gem! It is in a little strip mall, but once inside it is an incredible experience. The food is perfectly seasoned and prepared and the servers are attentive. You feel as though you are in an upscale big city restaurant, but very unpretentious. A wonderful experience, you will not be disappointed.

Spectacular and creative dishes, made with high quality ingredients and superb chefing, these were some of the best meals we’ve eaten out all year long. We loved it so much we returned the very next night! Hugo would give the restaurant scenes in Denver or Chicago a run for their money. Each dish on the menu is well thought out, including the deserts. Gluten free options are excellent. Atmo could use some improvement in lighting (heavy reliance on overhead lights) and decor, minor changes could have big impact. Next time we are in Colorado we will find our way back to Hugo’s!

This is a cozy and relaxed restaurant. The staff was very courteous and friendly. You can take your time between ordering courses. They have very good drink and meal specials. The food preparation and display was great. Cooked perfectly. It’s our first time here and recommend Hugo’s as a place to visit. The cost is that of $$$, and well worth it. We’ll definitely come here again the next time we’re in Glenwood Springs 😊
