We
got
kind
of
a
warning
that
the
place
had
changed
when
Diane
made
our
appointments
and
she
asked
“when
is
Patsy
working?”,
they
told
her
she
sold
Yampah
last
year.
We've
celebrated
our
anniversary
almost
every
year
(16
of
19)
at
the
Hotel
Colorado
and
Yampah
Spa,
the
past
owner
treated
us
like
family,
she
spent
time
and
always
remembered
our
grandkids.
Observation
#1
when
we
showed
for
our
appointments
the
parking
lot
was
empty
there
were
3
cars,
the
parking
lot
with
every
other
visit
was
always
full,
the
only
complain
we
ever
had
over
the
years
was
the
lack
of
parking?
As
business
owners
we’ve
always
believed
this
place
must
be
a
gold
mine
because
of
how
busy
it
always
was,
on
sight
first
words
from
my
wife
“what
do
you
thinks
wrong?".
The
spa
was
empty,
seemed
like
employees
were
just
hanging
out,
so
neat
to
have
the
caves
almost
to
ourselves?
#2
There
were
no
flowers,
no
pots,
no
flower
beds
and
their
trees
looked
like
they
were
all
dying,
so
sad?
Yampah's
flowers
actually
made
us
feel
happy,
they
were
so
well
done.
We
asked
the
desk
clerk
“Why
no
Flowers
outside?”
she
told
us
the
owner
say's
“water
is
too
expensive”,
it
was
obvious
that
the
owner
doesn’t
let
them
use
water
for
cleaning
either,
our
tub
room
was
growing
mold
or
mildew
everywhere,
we
should
have
left
right
then.
#3
Another
sad
was
when
we
said
it's
our
anniversary,
the
past
owner
always
set
us
up
with
free
Sparkling
Cider,
chocolates
and
strawberries
during
our
tub,
one
reason
we’ve
been
returning
customers
over
and
over,
this
year
they
just
said
‘congratulations’.
#4
Diane
looks
so
forward
to
buying
all
her
Aveda
stuff
there,
she’d
drop
a
lot
of
money
but
saw
a
good
discount
from
the
past
owner
and
got
comp
bottles
of
lotion
and
one
of
those
great
lemon
shower
soap
for
me.
We
were
told,
Aveda
dropped
Yampah
as
a
retailer
because
of
’no
sales',
lots
of
empty
shelves?
#5
The
creepy
thing
Diane
saw
was
security
cams
everywhere
she
went,
(I
don’t
see
much
w/o
my
glasses)
she
asked
the
tub
lady
why,
did
you
have
‘break
ins
or
something'
and
she
said
quietly
in
Spanish,
‘that’s
the
way
‘they'
do
business',
It’s
obvious
I
don’t
like
the
changes,
Yampah
is
all
different
now
and
so
different
that
we
won’t
be
back,
it
was
a
real
let
down
this
year
compared
to
the
joy
we
found
in
the
past.
BTW
two
stars
because
the
employees
real
tried,
our
tips
were
from
empathy
then
for
the
services,
they
did
not
seem
very
happy.
