I
first
used
KO
Boxing
Gym
(E1
4ET)
via
Ultra
White
Collar
Boxing
since
that
is
where
the
training
for
the
London
event
was
being
held.
However
I
signed
up
as
a
member
of
the
gym
which
allows
me
to
attend
classes
independent
of
UWCB.
The
classes
have
been
brilliant
and
they
run
all
week,
often
more
than
once
a
day,
so
you
have
an
alternative
in
case
other
commitments
prevent
you
attending.
I
have
very
limited
boxing
experience.
Before
KO
I
had
gone
to
a
handful
of
sessions
at
a
local
amateur
boxing
club
but
each
time
I
never
really
did
anything
more
than
a
warm
up,
a
run,
skipping
and
bag
work.
Plus
the
bag
work
was
unsupervised
which
meant
I
wasn't
getting
any
feedback
and
so
I
could've
been
reinforcing
bad
habits.
However
at
KO
the
coaches
are
very
much
involved
in
what
people
are
doing
and
provide
constructive
criticism
along
the
way
which
makes
me
feel
acknowledged
and
confident
that
I'll
develop.
Plus
there
is
a
lot
of
emphasis
on
technique
which
is
fundamental.
I
have
been
coached
predominantly
by
Coach
Bill,
Coach
Bradley
and
Coach
Danny
who
are
all
very
approachable
and
knowledgeable
and
readily
available
to
answer
any
queries
I
have.
I
haven't
met
all
the
coaches
but
I'm
sure
they
all
work
to
the
same
high
standards.
The
coaches
have
your
best
interests
at
heart
and
encourage
progression.
The
gym
has
a
really
positive
atmosphere
and
great
energy.
Everyone
is
welcome.
There
is
no
discrimination
on
any
basis
-
gender,
race,
religion,
colour,
sexual
orientation,
age,
etc.
Paying
attention
and
working
hard
are
the
only
requirements
I'm
aware
of.
I
came
in
as
a
thirty-three
year
old
with
little
experience
but
wasn't
overlooked
because
of
my
background.
Both
the
staff
and
people
training
have
been
very
welcoming
and
I
felt
like
part
of
the
gym
from
day
one.
I
have
only
been
coming
for
a
few
weeks
but
already
I
have
learned
a
lot.
I
am
benefitting
physically
since
I
feel
as
though
my
conditioning
and
technique
are
improving
with
every
session.
However
the
psychological
gains
have
personally
been
the
most
significant
thing.
Discipline,
focus,
goal-setting
and
time
management
are
emphasised
and
practiced
in
the
gym
but
are
also
benefitting
me
outside
of
it.
I
generally
procrastinate
less
and
feel
more
productive
and
empowered.
Time
management
isn't
my
strongest
point.
It's
a
work
in
progress
but
it's
definitely
improving.
To
finalise
I
wouldn't
hesitate
recommending
KO
Boxing
Gym
to
anyone.
I
came
to
KO
through
UWCB
but
will
continue
attending
afterwards
as
the
classes
have
been
amazing
for
my
fitness
and
wellbeing.
Thank
you,
KO!
