Great place for family fun. Quite and picnic area close to the water.

At 78, almost, I miss feeling the ocean water without being knocked down by a wave every time I try to get back up. No waves here! Yeah! It felt great and a picnic table near by made it even better!

Spent some time here enjoying the sun. A much smaller beach than the one across the river. Plenty of parking, a boat ramp, fishing pier and port a potties. No concession stands in sight. I suggest bring a picnic lunch, sunscreen and ice cold drinks.

A beach with a view and just enough beach 🏖 for a short walk. Nice fishing 🎣 pier that I’ll try in the future. Sand, scenery and nature 😊

Great enjoyments for everyone. Fishing, boating, sightseeing, learning historical site. Bring your grand parents if they used to travel in this area. Sure your experiences. You can have a family picnic here, catch crabs and fish and cook fresh at a picnic area. Washing and shower is available here too.

Not very comfy, but still nice to be on the beach. Just feels like a sketchy area and wasn't very comfortable there by myself. Although one thing that was pretty cool was there was a man playing bagpipes in the park by the beach entrance. He was nice when I asked him if I could get pics and video of his amazing talent. It would be cool to hear his story. Unfortunately it was cold when I was there but I'm sure it might be better when it's sunny and more comfy.

Beautiful beach with lots of parking. The Port a potties were extremely clean. The view was amazing and my son caught a spotted trout. His first ever. I would love to visit again.

First time visit. It has potential for taking the kids for a play, splash, boat, or fishy time. It's not complicated getting to it but in an unusual location for a beach location. Bridge is RIGHT there beside you. It could stand some care and concern to maintain its appearance, but it's very doable for visiting! Free parking for cars or vehicles with boat trailers! Bathrooms are available, too! Animals are welcome but must be leashed.

Pleasant Beach. Peaceful. I would bet on a hot day parking would be a nightmare but off season parking was a plenty.
