Loved the good food and we're extremely happy with a new style of restaurant in the area! We shared the loaded brisket fries, had two entrees and two desserts with a couple drinks and we spent about 75. Definitely reasonable I feel with us getting more than usual at a place. BBQ sauce reminded me of Smithfields down in North Carolina, really enjoyed it. Tacos were great and so was the BBQ brisket mac We're absolutely coming back and we loved the smoker next to the parking lot, we could smell it pulling in! Servers seemed new, really friendly and trying hard, just needs experience and this place would be 3 for 3 5 stars.

If you’re looking for great food and friendly people, stop for some authentic BBQ at Mountain Mammas. In Gloversville on Main Street plenty of parking. I ordered the brisket sandwich my wife two shrimp tacos and macaroni and cheese. The brisket was tender cooked to perfection, a tad sweet and one of best tasting I’ve ever had. My wife gets tacos at many restaurants as well as makes them herself - she loved the shrimp tacos! They have a taco flight where you can try all 4 for $15 - you can’t beat that! Oh, almost forgot, the Mac and cheese was creamy and just the right amount of burnt on the top! We had a great lunch - I happened to see the cut brisket go by, with charred corn and a baked potato, I’m going back soon to sample that!

"...the New York State Division of Consumer Protection is reminding consumers that credit card surcharges are prohibited in New York State. Businesses are not allowed to advertise a price and add a surcharge at the point of sale when a consumer elects to pay with a credit card. Instead, businesses are required to inform consumers of the higher credit card price for a product or service by posting the higher price. Businesses are also able to offer a discount to consumers who pay in cash." This business is not compliant as they advertise cash prices on the menu and then charge extra for debit or credit card transactions. Food is decent. Chicken taco was overly sweet - need to tone it back. A lot of flavor is lost because you’re just hit with so much sweetness. Shrimp taco was good, great flavor profile. Pork taco was bland and I don’t know if it was intended to be served cold but mine definitely wasn’t hot. Not a fan of that one. Carnitas are a staple taco, shame the mark was missed on that one. You can tell the food is portion controlled. Super skimpy on sauces, come in the tiniest sauce cup half filled. The tacos were not really full of meat either, a lot of toppings used to fill the shells. It’s a sit down restaurant so I was also confused about the amount of disposable items. Plastic cups, plastic trays. Just seems odd to have so much plastic waste. I think the restaurant can be successful and will be once it finds the proper footing. With some minor adjustments this could easily be a 4-5 star restaurant with a lot of attraction.

Stopped by tonight for their grand opening, authentic decor, love the tiling Infront of the open air kitchen, the staff is friendly and attentive, they had my favorite southern dessert banana pudding!!! We had chicken taco, pulled pork tacos which were modeled after street tacos, Mexican street 🌽, a pulled pork sandwich, carne asada fries very tasty and the textures and flavors went well together!!! Our waitress Jessica was super! Kudos on your first night Mountain Mamas!!!

We were so happy with our experience! Our waitress Hannah was great super speedy and friendly also very attentive! Great work Hannah!! Our food was fantastic! I had the sliced brisket it was delicious and so tender! The potato was great and it came with grilled corn (I gave it to the hubs but only because I don’t like corn). My husband had the pulled pork sandwich and he was so thrilled with it he said it was the best pork sandwich he’s had since being down south. We had the cheese fries appetizer and those were fantastic they came with ranch for dipping and it tasted super fresh. The over all atmosphere is relaxed and cozy. The tables are a little small but it doesn’t take away from the over all fantastic experience. We just want the owners to know that it was a great experience for us and we went to eat there on the recommendation of friends!

Tables were too small for 4 people. Very disorganized. Had chips and queso cheese dip was the consistency of soup. Salsa and chips were not complimentary. Food was bland and had to ask for hot sauce. Salad was to come with our meal. One of us got our salad after we had to ask but only brought one small salad. Brisket was very fatty and ribs were mediocre at best. Bills were mixed up and couldn’t wait to get out of there. Hopefully staff and owners get more organized, it has potential but needs some work.

Got the brisket dinner. The brisket was cold the baked potato was cold and the corn on the cob was cold. Didn't ask for butter for the corn as it was too cold to spread the butter. Salad came after the main course. Not a disaster still working out the wrinkles. Will give it another try at some point will try a sandwich next time

We went 2 weeks ago for the taco special. We got our drinks quick and then nothing. Many cooks=takeout orders only. We waited over 30 min for my order of tacos!! While partner got his order in 20 minutes. I ordered side of rice & beans as well. Waited again. Waitress meanwhile comes back to ask how’s the meal. I laughed and said what meal? I have nothing yet. She came back: no rice & beans ready but can be ready in 20 minutes!! I said FF are fine. Got those eventually, then still waited. Meanwhile saw the hostess go to new table of 6 who received 1-2 orders but rest were also waiting. Partner at this point offered me his food, I said no, I just want what I ordered. He counted at least 6 takeout huge orders. The waitress then brought me rice!! It was mediocre: microwaved and barely warm in spots. Inedible. Tacos FINALLY came (3) and were ok, but who puts cheese on shrimp tacos? Very odd. I think I’ll go back to our old standby places. Simply put: not worth the wait!! Partner was livid. I was very tired.

Ribs- amazing. Tacos- amazing. Nachos…. Let me tell you about the nachos. BEST IN THE WORLD!!!!!! And I wont hush my mouth! I’ll tell the world and i’ll tell you. Try them once, get in your car and say “lets see what this knuckle-heads talking about” you wont be disappointed! You’ll eat, and then say to yourself “wow, I gotta tell the world about these nachos, the people need to know”
