Should be called a dive-thru, not drive-thru. Called in here mid - afternoon today for a very late lunch, after traveling to Larne to collect an item from the town's Argos. Hadn't realised the McDonald's had relocated to a brand new store, after I saw the original one is now a vets? Whilst I was waiting for my order, it was hard not to notice just how filthy the store was. Food squashed into the floor in several places, and notably across the floor by the main entrance. Many tables with used trays/empty cartons etc just lying around..albeit it's possible that customers just left them there as every bin was overflowing. Ketchup & BBQ sauce dispensers looking like a kids play area.. It took 13 minutes for my meal to arrive, and I changed my mind from eating in(funny that), so requested it be bagged to go. During this 13 minute period NO cleaning or clearing was done. I have to then wonder for just how long before & after my visit did this remain? It's pretty bad management for them not to not be concerned by the state of the place, and alarmingly the previous customer reviews 🤷 which clearly isn't bothering them? They do not deserve a brand new store, in fact if environmental health called on an unannounced visit, they may cease to have one. My crispy chicken burger was cold too, but I wasn't going back in to complain - couldn't wait to get away from there. My local McDonald's store in Coleraine by contrast is clean, inviting and efficient - even during busy periods of which they've many. Poor show Larne👎

It's McDonald's their chocolate milkshake and hot chocolate my main reason for going. The staff are great very helpful. And if they can't sort you out they quickly get someone who can. I try to go about twice a month to sit in. But have been known to do a quick drive through. For a milkshake or hot hot chocolate.

Ordered 2 main meals & 2 ice creams. Received 2 happy meals & 2 small milk shakes. Granted I should have noticed when it was handed to me. So tired that I didn't notice till I got home where 2 kids were waiting on their meals. Phoned McDonald's who said if I came back they would exchange the meals. The meals were cold when I got them so would have been freezing and only fit for the bin by the time I had time to go back to McDonald's. They asked for me to (wait for it!!) Bring the cold happy meals back and have them exchanged for what we ordered. It's way out of my way to do so and I have 2 children waiting on food so I said they would eat them and they could refund the difference. Poor poor show all around McDonald's!! 👎

Very good service and food served really quickly. Clean area and nice wee area for kids play.

By far the slowest and worst McDonald's I have been to so far. Made my order paid then drove to the next window were you would usually collect the food, was handed my drink and a straw and then asked to drive to another window were I waited 10 minutes, I was the only car in the drive through, I actually was starting to think they forgot about me but I eventually got my food and parked up to eat it. The burgers looked as if the person making them was throwing the ingredients from one end of the kitchen to the other, everything was a complete mess and the food wasn't even warm. Then to add to it I had the runs all night after eating out of this diabolical place. Never again!!!

I gave one star for food because I didn’t get the chance to try it as the drive through ordering system is poorly monitored and managed. The manageress was not impressed on being pulled up on this and refused to give me my food. I ended up taking my money back and going to KFC. The other staff were great - I pity them having to work under a bully. I will be taking my complaint further within McDonalds management. She refused to give me her name and slammed the windows so loudly on me that I literally jumped. I’m not surprised at the poor review rating.

Typical McDonalds in some ways - ordering screens on the way in, counter to order at if you don't have a card or intimidated by machines. Our order was delivered to our table, but was wrong. Was quickly rectified. Only one place to leave our tray and rubbish afterwards. Food was typical McDonalds fare, cooked and presented to usual McDonalds standards.

Shocking service waited over 20 minutes in the drive through after paying. Then asked our order again on 3 seperate occasion. We were then handed the wrong order and told ours had been given to the wrong car. They then switched to the lunch menu and told us we would have a further wait. Not hard to get a simple order right. Sort it out

Pleasantly surprised. Our meals were lovely and warm ! Served at till by lovely fella called Blair I think his name was. He helped with order as I'm never in McDonald's. Bravo 👏.

It's McDonald's. What do you expect. Like warm food, poor service. Staff look at you as if you have 2 heads if u don't use the self-service as they are too busy talking at the back. Groups of teenagers taking up seats and sitting eating a chip between 6 or 7 of them
