I visited and stayed at Northern pearl hotel several times. It's really nice, peaceful and beautiful place. Rooms are neat and clean. For sure they take care of cleanliness. If you are looking for an Indian food option in Gulu, this is a good place, as they have many Indian dishes. They offer African food too. The management is good and really helpful. There is availability of AC, non AC rooms. Each room has a TV connectivity, geaser. You can get your food in your room too. The staff is really good, well trained and cooperative.

Located on the northern part of Gulu Town, the hotel offers good customer service and the price is affordable compared to all the hotels in Gulu and those neighbouring it. It offers continental and Indian dishes. You xan also have Pizza here. The rooms are spacious and quiet giving you relaxed night. The staff are friendly and welcoming.

If you're looking for decent, clean and affordable accommodation in Gulu, then visit the Northern Pearl Hotel. Amenities available include, - Bed (obviously 😉) - TV - Fan (it gets really hot in the night) - Hot water - Clean bathroom - White towels and slippers - Room service I was pleasantly surprised by the extra comfortable bed and the soft pillows. Also, the linen was of good quality. I honestly enjoyed my sleep. However, the room was full of mosquitoes. The available mosquito net was damaged with holes and thus allowed in the mosquitoes. The windows do not have mesh. My advice is that one should carry their own mosquito net and repellent. My high score went to the beautiful compound (a lot of green here), the well organised dining room and the ample parking space, with security. And the reception area is well decorated. I shall definitely be back.

From the arrival to departure, the experience at the North Pearl was a pleasant one. The rooms are neat and cozy. The food is wonderful and the options are broad from the South Asian offerings to the wood fire pizza. The upstairs dining area is a fantastic place to work, eat, relax or have a group gathering. The staff were very friendly and attentive to our needs. Highly recommended to visit for just a meal and for a stay. It gets even better with new incoming facility for indoor games.

Well situated, Rooms are clean,hot water in the showers,with a nice quiet garden and a bar area,restaurant with a team ready to serve anytime. #Highly recommend to stay here.

I have stayed at multiple places in Gulu and now several times at the Northern Pearl. The Northern Pearl exceeds the level of service of other more expensive places in Gulu and is comfortably the best place to stay at it's extremely reasonable prices. The owners and staff are extremely warm and always helpful; which is extremely appreciated and really makes a difference. The cottages are stylish, clean and comfortable. Finally the restaraunt and bar are extremely good, and this extends to the excellent inclusive breakfast. Northern Pearl is well worth your time and I will continue to stay here when in Gulu.

Stopped here for a chicken pizza. I am telling you this wasn't chicken flavoured pizza but actually chicken pizza. I would have preferred it WOOD FIRED though.

A good and nice place to stay in Gulu. We traveled here with our students. The food is amazing, you should try all, haha! And they have several things for kids/students to do as well, such as a pool table, darts and a karaoke set. Also the rooms are very clean and the service is perfect. They have dogs that secure the place at night, which gices a safe feeling as well.

Visit Northern Pearl hotel in Gulu along Lasto Oketch road at senior quarters in Gulu city for amazing, luxurious accomodations, great food like authentic Indian cuisine, continental dishes, best pizza 🍕 in the city, great crafted drinks, excellent service provision and lots more, i met the real value for my money.

This was the best meal we had at a restaurant in Uganda. We had the chicken Tikka masala, and the butter chicken, and both were extremely good. Washed down with a Club beer.

I stayed here for a few days and had dinner in the restaurant twice. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I felt 100% welcome. The room (a small standalone cottage, actually) was good (not perfect: the bathroom needs some upgrading) and fairly priced. The gardens are full of mango trees and really good for relaxation. The food in the restaurant is really decent. My only major feedback: The watchdog is tough and clearly doesn't like cats, please make sure to keep him in check!

The location was good. Easy to find and close to town. The service was good - very friendly and helpful staff. Food was also good. The rooms however are really worn out, dark and not so clean. Although the bedding was really clean, the bathroom and parts of the room were dark and not so clean. Some more lighting, aeration and white tiling would go along way.

I stayed here for two nights. The service was very average and the staff needs to communicate more with clients (Just a simple "How are you?" Or "Is all okay?"). For instance, they had not told us to leave the key at the reception if we wanted our rooms cleaned. I had to ask for room supplies like toilet paper and towels. During breakfast the staff assumes that everyone knows what to do, the menu should have a few details about what and how to order. "Pick only one item from the menu". The rooms were not great, it was very dark and a bit sad. They definitely need some RESTORATIONS. The bathrooms were dirty and the shower was broken but it had hot water. I think the best part of the place was the three beautiful Rottweilers (Dusty, Leo, and 'I forget the other one'). Thank you for the stay, I would definitely come again once all the upgrades are done.

When I was here in mid April 2023, what impressed me the most is the ambience around the compound. Ohhh the trees provide cool shades and there are two swings. If you intend to spend a leisurely afternoon within Gulu city, this could be your venue. There is also a conference hall, an indoor dining space and relatively comfortable accommodation.

Restaurant and accomodatiom available. Rooms are clean and near.Air con in some rooms. hot water and a little television. great security and not noisy on the nights i was there. food is okay. Indian food available.

Great value for money. Internet can be an issue was my only sore point

The rooms are well built as they are based on the traditional Hats. The windows don't close though, attracting insects like mosquitoes

The food was good and service was impeccable. The only issue is that they accept credit cards but charge 3% extra on it.

This place is dangerous, they release uncontrolled bull dogs trained to attack people at the hotel. This is the strangest thing I have ever seen at an accommodation. The room maintenance is extremely lacking, most rooms are dilapidated.

I visited for a party and over night stay, Next morning had plans for Kideppo. The place is really amazing, I got very good service, the food was awesome and overall experience exceeded my expectations.

Located in one of the best place in the city and highly classical. They have residential houses for people who need a good place to feel like home and can afford a little good price for it.
