Overall the resort is good, the rooms are spacious and comforting, the food is above average, the resort campus is spacious enough to take an evening walk and the best part is it's swimming pool. It's huge and one of a kind in its locality. There's also a special feature about this resort, even if you're not staying in the resort as a guest you can come for a quick swim in their swimming pool. The charge is 350/- per person as of 30 August 2022. Swimsuits and towels both will be provided by the resort itself.

A decent place for weddings and functions. The property is quite large and made with a lot of thought. Gardens are big and nice. Rooms are large with average upkeep. Could do better with a lot of cleaning. It's located on the highway and has ample parking. Lawns have some nice mango laden trees. Pool is average n allowing drinking at the pool means a lot of idiots fooling around the place. Yet a good place for functions n weddings.

The managing staff and the owner it's self is very rude i think they have money attitude. Don't go this place the people are rubbish. And abusive.

Recently, I visited this resort and the experience was horrible. I lost few of belongings from my room even though the room was locked all the time. The food was horrible. The manager Om prakash was not at all helpful with the tasks. I am utterly disappointed and wouldn't recommend anyone. I lost the faith in resort once I got to know stuffs were lost from others room too. If anyone planning to visit this place my recommendation : It is overpriced and not worth your time. Your stuff also gets stolen.

Recently I had to stay in sambodhi for a wedding function. I must say it was a horrible experience. Staffs are not at all trained and professional. They do not care about customer need and they do not listen as if they are owner of resort. No room service, there is no intercom in room, unhygienic bathroom, food taste is not up to the mark and so on. I would recommend please use your hard earn money in other resorts do not waste it in sambodhi.

I encountered considerable dissatisfaction with the room service and hygiene during my recent stay. The lack of proper food, subpar staff behavior, and a discrepancy between the service provided and the amount charged underscored a deficiency in hospitality.

Service was very good and ambience looked spectacular at night. But swimming pool was not clean, maybe because of COVID situation.

Place is good, but staffs are very rude, Mr Om Thinks himself to be the owner of the property. We went there for pre baby shoot , Though Mr Nirmal helped us very well with the shoot, where as Mr Om was very rude and talking roughly, I have seen The main reason for not success of this property is the staff behaviour, if this changes this property is gonna rise very good

Me & my family went to sambodhi dhanbad for marriage booking purpose, we were vry impressed with the resort ambiance, area nd location. When we were talking to a manager regarding booking rates nd othr things, then in between cnversation a person came nd seated infrnt of us nd started talking to us (without any manner) regarding booking. We were totally confuse who's he. He started describing abt resort nd hw earlier function held at..in a vry unprofessional way. Aftr minutes of cnvrsation we came to knw that...he's decoration vendor named Manish. He told us to cm out side of lobby nd hd sm cnvsation n said..u cn talk to me regarding booking I ll make it in yur budget nd gave his personal no fr further proceedings. We were thinking who's going to take our booking nd aftr booking who's going to tk cr our function ( Manish or hotel manager) which was fr 2 days. We came home nd totally confuse abt to book it or nt. So finally we booked othr hotel near sambodhi. Its for management to look into it..

Rooms are worse than the roadside hotels. Cheap and intolerable. Cheap beds, cheap window ACs. Non of the ACs work. Be ready to boil in these rooms because a cooler would work better than these

Great experience. Food quality was amazing in price bracket, room was comparatively small, service of the guy name Vivek Gupta was so incredible. You can sum up this with good vacation point.

Sambodhi Retreat because this is a strategic position for our itinerary. The resort is situated bang on the highway at Jealgora near Govindpur which is near Dhanbad townshjip. We were 18 people so took the entire second floor. This is true that this property is good for group, marriage parties, wedding celebrations, but not yet completed yet. Big lawns, cottages, two pool make it nice but some how the property need more care regarding the unfinished concrete structures. The staffs were very good and we have received a very warm welcome in reception. We stayed complete three days because we have covered Topchachi, Bhatinda, Jharia Coal mines, Khandoli, Giridih and ushri falls. We have got complimentary breakfast in buffet. We used the main restaurant beside highway on the first day and the poolside restaurant for the rest two days. As our last day was 15th August, we got the chance of celebrating the flag hoisting ceremony. This is a huge property, but one thing to mention regarding the distance of restaurant & our stay option. Management may think the issue. Overall nice food.

Very nice place for Marriage and any functions with sufficient open space and Beautiful rooms.

Had good experience at resort ,very well cultured staff with prompt service delivery, delicious cuisine , rooms and pool needs slight modification at such price . But once again , a lovely and amicable show of attitude and behaviour by hotel staff members from reception to suite. Thank you 😊

Giving 1 star as there is no option for 0 star.Staff is not trained and they have no basic courtesy to stop and listen to what customer complains about.Very poor hygiene and no sense of cleaning or sanitisation of washrooms.We booked the resort for a wedding and the service was substandard.The price is not justified at all.Food is okish but not great.In the name of seasonal vegetables,they would serve you the same item everyday which raises a suspicion if they sometimes offer leftover food from last night.I would suggest to look elsewhere if you have better options.Wedlock resort is just a few blocks away.It might be little pricey but much better than Sambodhi.

My recent stay at this resort was very unpleasant. There is no concept of room service and if you explicitly call and ask them to clean the room next morning they will respond very rudely. There were not many options of dishes but whatever was available, tasted horrible.

If you want some peace from your daily life must go there.food was very tasty and staffs are supportive.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at SAMBODHI RETREAT DHANBAD, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, Mr. Ashutosh Srivastava Sir went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. The luxurious accommodations, coupled with exceptional service of Ashutosh sir, made my stay truly memorable. His service is excellent he give his all time and service to our team he never look that it's night or day he always with us like a family person. We also meet with Sebendu Mitra Sir and Omprakash sir both are cooperative, and I can't wait to return to Sambodhi Retreat on my next visit. Lovely hotel and service, Once again thanks to Ashutosh Sir.

Good ambience. Taste of food was good but the management was bit off. The food was not served as per the plan which led to cold serving at some time.

We went for Pool party with Family, The environment is good, You can choose from general or family pools, both are clean and well maintained, but pool changing rooms are smelly, bring you own pool cloths.

Nice water park but they mixed chloride in the water due to which you colour will look somewhat dark for the next few days and again you will be normal. Yes, one more thing girls don't go to this water park because there is changing room according to one of their staffs.

Beautiful property located at a quite corner of the lake, with option of rooms and villas. Very clean and green, well maintained. Staff is very courteous. Food is very good. Bonfire, Dj nights etc is organised by resort . Indoor outdoor games and activities are also available.

For food they deserve 5 star but pool maintenance is very awful, people take beer and cigarette from the bar and consume while bathing in pool. Now it's not a family place. That's why I'm giving three star

There is a lot of good place to spend time with family and friends. And all things are good but food is a bit boring. The behavior of the staff is very good and the service is also very good.

Huge property, beautiful garden and lawns. Stayed in 1002. Bathroom supplies present. Bed and bath linen was dirty and of poor quality. Food at breakfast was alright.

It has so much potential. The resort itself is quite spacious and scenic. What it lacks is maintenance. A little bit of effort and it can be so better.

It is situated on NH near Jealgora, Govindpur, Dhanbad. Area is busy and crowded. Place is nice and beautiful. Resorts attractions are very nice. Swimming pool are big & clean. Restaurant is very specious and beautiful. Staffs are cooperative and well behaved. We enjoyed tasty and delicious foods with my family.
