Don't go there if you love your kidney. Read below the update. Update. I myself and my family ended up drinking huge amounts of water throughout the night. Then the unquenchable thirst which started around 30 minutes after the meal. Only possible explanation is they use huge quantities of MSG in their food. So better avoid this place altogether if you love your kidney. We ordered 3 different varieties of Koththu. Mongolian one was good but chicken aaz hard to find. One has to use an excavator to find a piece of chicken. Masala was good ordered the egg koththu so its all right. Cheese koththu is a rip off. No chicken anywhere to be found. And I didn't taste any cheese mostly milk I think. Not what we expected after all the hype and high prices. Polwatte Desa Rasa do a much better job at a lower price. It's just a show piece not a quality or value for money food outlet.

A large potion is sufficient for 2 persons. Prices are reasonable. Tried Masala Cheese Kottu, Fried Chicken Kottu and Kottu Rice. All were good. All main dishes come with chilli paste and gravy. Ice coffee and and cold Milo available but pricey. Dine-in facilities are available. Big area and many tables are available. No air-conditioning. Fans are working. Bit warmer inside. There are flies inside the restaurant.

Decent prices, fast and friendly service. Different types of kotthu available including regular, cheese, noodles, string hopper, pasta and rice. Not the best kotthu I have had because the among of ingredients (vege and meat) that was in the kotthu seemed to be very less. There is sufficient parking available infront of the restaurant.

Ordered a Fish Large kottu. After I received the order I noticed fish Pieces in the kottu is over deep fried and tastes bitter. Had to drink 2 water cups to wash away the taste. It was hard to find carrot and leeks in the kottu also. I called the outlet manager and he said he will send a another kottu right away. Appreciate only that.

We ordered a cheese kottu which was sufficiently large for two people, but unfortunately, the taste did not meet our expectations. Perhaps this was due to our choice of the cheese kottu and we should explore other menu items next time.

Highly recommended. The small portion of kottu is enough for 2 people. Delicious food and worth for the money you pay.

Bought a spicy (which we requested) veg large portion kottu. They said it was enough for two people but it was enough for three. I personally liked it. The iced coffee was good but expensive. Friendly service. The staff member who was serving us got us a veg curry.

If you are the guy who is focusing on bigger portion at budget price range, this is it. But taste is very artificial, too much sauce in Nasi. Beverages are served in cheap plastic bottles and cups. No good ambience, feel like low cost & mass production restaurant. Sometimes, my expectations might be high when it is called Mr.Kottu GRAND

We had a great time here, food was good but what made everything great was the guy who served us. Sadly I forgot his name but his recommendations and his honesty to why there were some delays made us laugh instead of being irritated. If you are dining in even though it seems like a very big space the restaurant didn’t seem to be prepared for a big dine in capacity so expect a small delay.

Had a tasty 😋 masala seafood kottu after a while. Service was great & the Atmosphere was relaxing 😎. Thumbs up 👍 to the Mr.Kottu team keep it up.

Very nice surroundings and the staff is very friendly. The lighting arrangement is attractive. Available for dine -in and take-away. Parking is available for 4 to 5 vehicles. Sometimes 6 vehicles can be parked at once. Bikes also can be park. We ordered one double roast chicken large kottu for dining and One Sinhala Ariya kottu for takeway. We received our order within less than 10 minutes. The food was very delicious and worth it for the price. Also,we received our take-away kottu when we finished our meal without any delay.
