Good food and reasonable prices. We had two dinners here for our three night stays in Salzburg. One night was full, and they had to turn away some people walked in, so it would be a good idea to make a reservation online.

Really nice place and good vibes. Very friendly, charming and nice staff. The food is so good, well cook, and very delicious. We try Sandwich Steak, Smoked Salmon, Pork Schnitzel, and Gouache soup. All are very FANTASTIC delicious. Even decoration and garnish are very beautiful and unique. We ended with 3 portion of desserts with combination of all. And finish every bites with satisfying smile all our face. And the important things is affordable price of all..so worth it 👌 😊 You MUST try this restaurant when you visit Salzburg..all thumbs UP for the chefs and staffs👍👍

Exactly what one needs to experience the local cuisine. Big portions and hearty dishes. Very good beers. Authentic and local experience. Both dishes were amazing but a special shout-out to the stake which was definitely worth it. Staff did not speak very good English but we managed alright

This place is AMAZING. It was busy every night we walked past to our hotel and we finally had the opportunity to try it tonight. Food: My pictures do not do it justice. Our party ordered the tuna (special, not on menu) and the salmon. Both were so tender they almost melted in our mouths. The accompanying vegetables and potatoes were tender and made for the "perfect bite". Service: As I mentioned, they were busy EVERY night (reservations recommended), but the staff was graaciously able to accommodate our party of 5. Very friendly servers made us feel right at home. Atmosphere: Lovely ambiance in the restaurant. Everyone was enjoying themselves at their tables and at the bar. Beer: OMG. The house beer was perfect. Served in a super cold mug, frorthy and delicious. Overall, highly recommended!

Absolutely fabulous! The food is delicious and amazing. Everything is fresh and very tasty. The staff is super friendly and nice. The service is impeccable. The home made beer is also excellent. If you're looking for authentic Austrian cuisine, this place is highly recommended.

A gastropub disguised as a traditional Austrian pub. The house beer, Zwickl is light and citrusy. The food was excellent, especially the potato and black pudding dumplings.

4 Americans walk into an Austrian restaurant and are treated to fantastic meal, top-notch service, and a generally great evening. The rump steak was stellar, the pork roast juicy, and the in-season white asparagus a surprise treat. We wrapped up our meal with the apple slices and ice cream (share this one -it's big!) and ice cream with egg liquor. The egg liquor was new to us, but our server was right to suggest it. Such a fun place to spend the evening!

This will forever be one of my most treasured dining experiences. My son exclaimed the steak sandwich was the best sandwich he has ever had (he was 100% spot on). All of our meals were soooo delicious. I had the steak (it was cooked perfectly, juicy and flavorful), my husband had the schnitzel (it was the best schnitzel we had during our time in Germany/Austria). The service was so fantastic and friendly, hopefully the gentleman who took care of us makes it to Lambeau Field Green Bay! And if all that isn't enough, they brew their own beer and it is Perfect. Highly recommended, truly an absolute must!!!!!

Fantastic beer, food, and ambiance. I think this is a more local spot—it was really hard to communicate and there was no English menu, so we saw schnitzel and bratwurst and called it a day! So glad we did. Service was very slow though! Like, crazy slow. (But worth it).

It was my first day in Salzburg and i really want to try an authentic Austrian meal. I got this restaurant on the way back my hotel. I went there around 5 so there weren’t that much people. After i went in the waiter presented me the menu sadly it was all in German. Though i used google translate it didn’t help much as those names of the dishes even translated it meant nothing to me. The waiter was so patience he introduced some recommended dishes he liked. The dish i ordered was a boiled beef, taste was not too surprising. It came with cream spinach and a fried i dont know what thats. Overall it was so worhty to come if you want to enjoy the environment and the eager of the authentic Austrian.

What a find! Great place with a really friendly atmosphere and excellent food and drink. There were no tables for 2 available at 17:00 which tells you something but they asked if we minded sharing with another couple who were really obliging and friendly. Gave us an insight in to how nice Austrian people are and how good the food and drink can be. They brew their own beer on site which was too nice. Hope we’ve not been too spoiled here and all the rest are as good. Thank you to all the staff and customers, a wonderful find.

We had a fabulous time here! The food is absolutely incredible with the updated menu, but still very traditional Austrian at the heart. So so so delicious. Our server, Zvone, was incredibly friendly and helpful - ask was able to assist us in many languages! Highly recommend! ❤️❤️❤️
