The
bakery
is
really
well
presented
with
two
old
style
pie
ovens
mounted
into
the
walls
behind
the
counter.
There
are
family
sized
pies
in
the
fridge
display
and
lots
of
sweet
offerings.
I
didn't
arrive
until
4.00pm
which
is
always
risky
with
pie
place
but
the
full
selection
seemed
to
be
available
and
there
were
about
eight
staff
members
waiting
to
serve.
It
was
still
quite
busy
but
I
was
served
almost
straight
away.
The
pies
are
served
in
a
burger
style
container.
I
went
with
my
favourite,
Steak,
Cheese
and
Bacon
and
just
because
it
sounded
good,
the
Lamb
Coconut
Curry.
The
Steak,
Cheese
and
Bacon
pie
was
very
large
at
317
grams.
For
$6.80
this
represented
exceptional
value.
It
hardly
fit
in
the
container
and
was
a
little
bit
scrunched
in
there.
I
really
liked
the
pastry
from
the
first
bite.
Nice
and
crisp
but
still
buttery
and
flaky.
Inside
the
gravy
was
a
little
anaemic
looking
but
still
quite
tasty.
There
was
an
ample
amount
of
cheese
and
bacon.
The
pie
was
mostly
mince
but
I
did
find
a
chunk
of
steak
in
the
last
bite.
The
steak
was
really
tasty
and
had
the
pie
had
more,
I
would
have
rated
right
up
there
as
far
as
cheese
and
bacon
pies
go.
Still,
If
this
was
advertised
as
a
mince,
cheese
and
bacon
pie,
I
would
have
given
it
at
least
an
8.5/10.
Maybe
even
a
9.
It
was
good.
The
Lamb
Coconut
Curry
Pie.
This
was
a
massive
pie
at
368g.
At
7.90
the
price
is
very
reasonable.
First
up,
I
need
to
say
I
am
not
a
big
curry
fan
but
the
combination
sounded
like
it
may
be
something
I
would
enjoy
for
a
change.
The
pastry
was
good
like
the
cheese
and
bacon
pie
and
there
was
plenty
of
filling.
The
coconut
flavour
of
the
curry
really
didn't
come
through
much
and
I
was
not
the
biggest
fan
of
the
flavour.
Curry
lovers
may
differ
in
opinion.
There
were
a
lot
of
lamb
pieces
throughout
the
pie
so
not
complaints
about
that.
I
don't
really
feel
I
am
qualified
to
rate
this
curry
pie
except
to
say
that
it
was
edible
and
probably
a
decent
example
of
a
curry
pie.
Overall,
I
would
consider
returning
for
another
round
of
pies
at
Yatala.
The
cheese
and
bacon
was
very
nice
and
enough
to
get
me
back
in
the
door.
