Great vibe and food. The Portuguese tarts are good but I actually expected more. They tasted more like the frozen tarts that you buy from Costco. However, croissant was good just like their sister cafe and the fish&chips was the highlight. Definitely a great family and weekend spot.

The place is marked by its 50's style red and white umbrellas and alfresco garden setting. It’s conveniently walking distance from the beach so it’s the perfect place to go to after a visit to the ocean. ❤️: You have to grab the iconic Custard Canteen Portuguese tarts if you have the chance to visit. They were so buttery and so flakey 😍😍😍. The egg tarts are made in small batches and to demand, so you can often rock up after the lunch rush and still get yourself a warm parcel straight out of the oven!
