Terrible Steak. The porterhouse steak I ordered at Surfers Paradise Beergarden was asked to be medium rare. The kitchen delivered a steak PAST well done the first time. Dry and cooked to oblivion. Asked the waiter to changeover and was happy to. However, when the replacement steak came out supposedly to be medium rare was just as well done! Such a joke of a establishment if they can’t even get the basics of a decent steak right. I hope this was just an off day because this is a real slip up from the positive reviews I read about this place. The pic I included is of the second steak which was meant to be medium RARE. What a joke. On a positive note the staff, drinks and atmosphere were nice.

This place did a 180 compared to 8 years ago when I was in there last. It’s so clean and bright. The interior and layout is extremely family friendly, there’s heaps of games for kids and adults around, huge tvs with different sports on, comfortable lounged to chill and bigger tables for groups. Loved what they did to the place. Came in for drinks on Thursday and back for dinner on Monday. Tried two pizzas and they were amazing. Fresh, nice base and loaded with delicious toppings. Will be back for sure when visiting next time.

Went here for a couple of drinks & to watch nba. The staff were nice & put the game on when I asked. There is a very funky smell inside this establishment. Quite hot inside also. But it is a sports bar...didn't try any food. It is also beside timezone & location is good.

Amazing customer service. We went to Paradox coffee before going to beergarden and they were shocking. Seeing the difference in quality of the staffs attitude at the 2 venues was amazing. We have been back to the garden 5 times in 3 weeks since meeting your staff. We'll done.

So modern and fresh. Loads of games to play while enjoying a drink. With excellent views of the street. The bar has a large selection of drinks that you would ever want. Great music and tropical 🌴 feel to the place.

Shocking experience today, had to wait 1.5 hours for our lunch and at the end asked and got refunded without eating. Go somewhere else.

Awesome atmosphere to enjoy a Friday night. Lovely friendly helpful staff. You can play many games while enjoying a drink and they have a large collection. Food was awesome too and reasonably priced. Located in the heart of the surface paradise and so not sure about the parking spaces.

Staff are so lovely! Got served by Adam, he seems like a very genuine guy just looking out for his customers best interests! Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a chill afternoon drink at the heart of surfers. Will definitely be returning

I had a beautiful public holiday at this venue. The chicken parmi was so good but the chips and slaw needs more flavour. We waited more than 1 hour after ordering via app. Too much waiting time.. but we enjoyed.

Food was delicious and the service was excellent! Burger was made with a high quality meat and you can confirm it with every bite you take, however you don’t get tomato sauce with the burger. Bathrooms were not desirable at all, the hallway leading you to the bathrooms on the top floor had a really strong and disgusting smell.

Stopped in for a couple of drinks and something to eat, my husband and I picked the surf and turf off the chefs specials menu and Wow!! It looked great and tasted delicious, certainly glad we picked it. Nice place for a drink and feed with friendly staff, thanks!!

The contactless ordering is convenient and safe. The meals are delicious, the drinks are good, the price is moderate, and it is very suitable for families. There are great screens for watching sports events, and the children's play area is really great

The Surfers Paradise Beergarden located on the middle of surfers paradise, nice to have some beers with that beautiful view. But you have many choices for drinks, about food I don’t know, so read others reviews about food

We had the best time at the weekend! Can't wait to go back the next time we're in the Gold Coast. We definitely took advantage of the free Canadian Club hat with every 2 x CC drinks purchased. We ended up with 4 hats! The space is huge, would be perfect for work/birthday/engagement party etc. We actually went back the same night and there was live music which was a great vibe. The staff were so lovely, even offered us to try different drinks on tap before purchasing. The giant jenga was a crowd pleaser too! I can't recommend the beergarden enough.

Good little bar for a catch-up, shared platter, chatter and bevy! The beer garden is a nice local spot with good atmosphere, music is a little mixed (mostly nauties, some old hits and a bit of mainstream modern). Sometimes they have love bands. Nachos we're a great platter to share. Lovely and creamy fresh guac made us all happy - especially after a couple of vodka lime sodas. 🙂 Bar staff are always super friendly and give drink recommendations- which I love!

Not real impressed, the food was oily. Berger was ok, but heavy and fell apart as I was eating it.. Jalapeño poppers were also greese and had a think batter, which was ok. But after the berger was a bit too heavy in geese... Coffee however was very nice and the environment was reasonable.

Had such a fun night! The crowd was great. Simon was super helpful and fun. Vibes were great even for a week night. Definitely worth coming back. Great views overlooking the Main Street.

Great venue for catching up with mates etc, staff were friendly and there are TV's located all around so you won't miss the seeing the event, we came to watch the NRL grand final. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, drink prises weren't to bad either. Locatin on cavil Ave makes it a good spot to drop in for a drink after a swim.

First time at surfers beer gardens!!! And I will definitely be back. The service was A+ the food was beautiful, the cocktails were amazing. A must try is their strawberry daiquiris, slushie style!!!!! The management definitely knows how to run a service.

Went there on a Friday night just to play a bit of pokies and met Adam the assistant manager. He made me and my friends feel so welcome and was very hospitable towards us. Out of everyone we’ve met at Beer Garden, Adam has to be the best one there. Big big big thank you for making our night special!

Stumbled upon this venue looking for a place to watch the ufc main event. I was pleasantly surprised by the awesome layout and cool decor. Food and drink are awesome, with fast service. A massive thank you to Max the manager for finding us a table when I didn't book ahead of time. I will definitely be back again

Friendly staff , nice place, slow service for simple online orders. Could be a bit more generous with a chip plate. Long island iced tea very well made. No tap handles to wash my hands in the male toilets, had to use the disabled toilet.taps No signs no warning.

Surfers Paradise Beer Garden were an amazing host to the Shuffle Board world championships were we saw Jason and Jed take the clutch win over Raymond and Sam, 3-2 for the undisputed world championships.

Our first place we visited on the Gold Coast. And what a start it was. Good variety of drinks at reasonable prices. And a small variety of pub meals at slightly higher prices than I would expect. Beautiful beautiful area! All sports are on display! Friendly staff, family fun games on nearly every table! Loved it here on a Wednesday lunch time. Can imagine a great vibe here on weekends and peak sporting events.

The food was reasonable, the coleslaw lacks any flavour but the chicken was well cooked. There was also a steak sandwich and a chilli con carne at the table which they enjoyed while I waited almost an hour for mine to come as they didn't receive the order which was completed by the me&u QR code at the table. Fair enough, these things happen but after enquiring about it 30 mins in, I was left to wait another 10 before two consecutive people came to show me that they hadn't received it on the order and asking to see the receipt (one I can understand, two- 5 mins apart? Seriously?). I was then asked if I wanted to wait for it to cook or get a refund. I was hungry. Just feed me lol. Anyways, the third waitress was lovely and gave me a drink while I waited. What a saga.

Uninspiring beers on tap, just the normal major beers. Was expecting a better variety of beer styles and craft breweries. Service was fine, didn't have any food. Very empty at lunchtime.

Started off great, awesome atmosphere. Staff were nice and friendly. Love their uniforms, really sets the theme. Food came out fast. But then the negatives First would be size of my ribs but biggest was cockroaches crawling out from table while eating. Maybe bad luck with table but atleast 3 keep crawling out from gaps in table. Killed the first but then more came out. So needless to say we lost our appetite. (Came for a quick drink the night befor which was also enjoyable)

A bit rowdy on a Friday night...it was so loud we couldn't hear each other at the table. There was a bouncer out front too which felt odd for a restaurant. The food was good though, huge serving of pork belly and nice cocktails! The ambiance (or lack thereof) is what let it down, unfortunately.

Looking for a Great family friendly venue for lunch in the heart of Surfers then this one should be on your list to visit. The Ribs were perfect and the service was friendly and prompt, the size of the meals were worth the $$$. The games on the table were great entertainment for not only the kids but all of us and kept the electronics away! We will be visiting again! Would recommend! Keep up the great work. Thank you

It was such a great experience with the food being some of the best I have had in a long time, such a great atmosphere to enjoy a night out and dinner with friends. I definitely recommend this to anyone who is on holidays as it is one of the best restaurants and bars I have experienced in surfers paradise.

So good, I went twice in a day! Go for a Gordons Pink Gin Spritz, calamari & chicken tacos. Simply amazing & you also have a nice view.

Cocktails were delish and the food is hit and miss. The burger was delish and pizza had chili but wasn't mentioned in the menu. Had to scrape it off. The Mexican starter is terrible.

Giant jenga and other games are cool, not much atmosphere for a Saturday night though, could do with a dancefloor!

We had the best experience ever here, all thanks to the bar manager Heath. Myself and 4 of my friends went to the beer garden on Christmas Day for the buffet and I couldn’t recommend it more. Heath and the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had an unforgettable day! Really recommend the Long Island iced teas 😁 Thanks Heath & all the staff 😊😊

Heath both you and your staff went above and beyond to make sure our dining was amazing and you guys did it. Just like to say how amazing an evening we had here. I booked in for my sons 21st a rather large booking. We were running late and even though there was a miscommunication Hayden/Rory was amazing managed to get everyone checked in and seated rather quickly with a big smile and a fantastic welcome. Then up to the bar for cocktails and more amazing service by Tamika and Isabella. Thank you guys for truly making the visit a pleasant one and going above and beyond for my sons big day. I am sorry some people in our group had to be told to sit down once or twice. Keep up the great work its clear to see that you've got a great team starting with those managers a big JOB WELL DONE!!!!!

Down for a holiday from Townsville, came in for a spur of the moment play on the pokes. Was greeted by Monique who was lovely! Dana offered excellent service behind the bar! They made our day, an asset to the venue!

Isabella is definitely deserving of a 6 star review. She has made our night fantastic. Welcoming from first entry. She has taken her job seriously whilst still having fun. Tamika (the assistant manager) was the cherry on top. If I could give extra stars I would. Thank you for making a night out fabulous.

Am I local that lives in Surfers Paradise and recall the original beer garden, it’s Awesome to have the beer garden back to what I remember, staff and food are fantastic. Kynan the Manager always welcomes me with Big Smile. I certainly recommend their beer garden for fun and exciting day out either a lunch or dinner.

Amazing food & the cocktails are sooooo delicious!!! We come here every time we are at the Gold Coast! Rory makes this place though, so friendly and easy going. 5 stars every time!

Fun atmosphere, and a good location to meet up with a bunch of friends for drinks and big table games to challenge the tipsy... Food is pretty expensive for what served to us and was really nothing to rave about. (ordered the $30 steak with chips n salad) Chips were good, but my steak (requested medium) was conpletely cremated and was dryer than a nuns whowho, and the garlic sauce was unedible - it was crunchy and appeared to be raw minced garlic in a dish of cream. Really bad! Go there to drink and play and eat elsewhere ;)

I popped in to have a quick beer & was absolutely shocked with how gorgeous the pubs renovations were. I hadnt been there for some years as Im in Sydney now. The staff were fabulous & i met some lovely people. A must do visit on your social calendar.

Food is amazing, atmosphere is great but it seems like there are never enough chefs as the food takes ages.

Arrived a little early for our booking. Absolutely no issues... Welcomed at top of the stairs with a smile and taken to our table. Great food and sensational cocktails. Tamika and her team were very friendly and welcoming. Will be back soon.

Pretty disappointed, we arrived to a pretty empty venue for dinner. We ordered our food and waited over an hour for our meals... we only ordered 3 entrees. They Had two staff in the kitchen and we wouldn’t have minded if we had been told of the over hour wait for entrees.

Please tell people when you are down a cook and tell people half your menu is out of stock when people walk in. Longest wait, for the simplest meals. Saw 3 other groups of people get served food in 2 hours. Feel bad for everyone else waiting after us. All that aside, the food was ok.
