I visit Sand bar very often. It’s nice to sit down outside and feel the breeze while having a delicious meal. Highlights for their salmon with vegetables and mashed potato, the rump with salad or their beef burgers. We spend aroun 40 dollars per person every time we go. Fast and good service. Will come back soon

Friendly service and prices are reasonable. Food was nice and tasty and was seated in the front outside front patio directly across the beach, awesome view👌🏼 Definitely recommend Sand bar, absolutely relaxing having a meal checking out the beach and the surroundings on the Main Street while you’re having a meal🏖. Definitely recommend👍🏻

Had lunch here today with my elderly mum and my sister, on her recommendation. It's a nice venue. 4 stars on service as my mum (86) had to ask after 10 mins what had happened to her cappuccino. No one was at the Barista area when I put the order in so didn't think it was busy. Had the salmon pokie bowl which was quite delicious and mum enjoyed the Dinosaur pizza. Quite a large venue. Plenty of seating inside. Also has a games area. Was a hot day but there were nice sea breezes. There's 2 disabled car parks across the road which is quite handy. Lucky enough to get one. Would come again if I was down in Surfers.

Cute restaurant with beach views. I visited during breakfast and everything is self serve. You just grab a menu, a seat and order from the QR code including payment. You grab your own cups, water and condiments then wait for your food. It was pleasantly presented and if you can’t be bothered interacting with people or talking, this is a really great place.

Every time I visit Sandbar, they left me truly impressed! :) Great coffee in the mornings.. Amazing food for breaksfast, lunch and dinner... each dish is a delight in itself. The service matched the quality, being all of them really helpfull and friendly. Thanks to Chris and all the team for maintaining such standards. For those exploring Surfers Paradise, I can't recommend Sandbar enough.

My first visit to Sandbar left me truly impressed! 🌟 As a café, it strikes the right chord with its inviting ambiance and delectable offerings. We savored the Chicken Parma, mushroom pizza, Prawans pizazz, chicken tenders, and the chicken and veg burgers – each dish a delight in itself. The food was nothing short of delicious, and the service matched the quality, being both swift and friendly. Our waitress was especially warm and accommodating. A shout-out to the team for maintaining such standards. For those exploring Surfers Paradise, I can't recommend Sandbar enough. It's a must-visit destination that combines great food, quick service, and welcoming vibes. A true gem that deserves all the recognition it gets. 🍔🍕🦐 Also really good coffee

Decent food and quick service. We've been there for breakfast on Thursday so there was plenty of space and no issues with the order. The only downside is coffee, definitely could improve.

Probably one of the worst breakfasts I’ve had on the coast to date. All sounds good on the menu, but the food quality and preparation, and the staffs attitude left a lot to be desired! Definitely a venue that relies on passing trade as opposed to repeat custom - can’t imagine anyone returning when there are so many better options for similar prices.

We were excited to try this place as there were good reviews. End results - Underwhelming. Fish tacos were bland. Not enough greens and or taste. Steak sandwich was tough and chewy. Chips were nice and crunchy. Salad was average.. we added chicken, nothing special. Chicken was herby. Views of the beach is pleasant. Not a place on my list to try again anytime soon.

This place is amazing. I went on a busy Saturday morning, nothing was to much trouble for any of the staff. I ordered a Coffee and Eggs Benedict. Before I knew it my Coffee came and my Eggs Benedict came shortly after. The food was divine and the Eggs were poached to perfection. Top marks to the Chef and all the staff.

Here for breakfast. I ordered a big breakfast, egg benedict, ice long black and matcha latte. Food is alright, wait time is a bit long due to the holiday.

Went here with my wife and 2yo daughter. was expecting it to be busier on a saturday night with the markets on nearby, but while there were many people sitting outside, the inside was quite empty and we were free to choose any table we wanted. The staff were very helpful and pointed out where the kids chairs were without me even needing to ask. I noticed there was no kid specific option on the menu which would have been nice (though this may also have been due to their reduced menu because of covid) We ordered the chicken schnitzel, fish and chips, some chicken tenders (mainly for my daughter though we liked them as well), and a cheesy garlic pizza (because the garlic bread wasn't on the limited menu sadly), a large jug of softdrink so we could keep topping up our cups, and a couple apple juice for my daughter. There was a little wait, which is understandable however all meals came out great and really hot, we shared some chips, salad and vegetables with our daughter and she ate some of the tenders even with the lemon marinade. the pizza arrived a little later and she enjoyed some of that as well. Overall the experience was great, the staff were willing to assist and offered to swap out the red wine sauce my wife didn't like for her meal. As we were leaving they also noticed we hadn't finished all the pizza and offered to put it in a pizza box for us to take away with us which was simply amazing. Will likely visit here again.

Prime location overlooking the beach at Surfers Paradise. Island vib decor which blends into the beachside atmosphere perfectly to enhance your lunch or dinner experience. The Oreo cheesecake is a must have.. I could have had a dozen. Good food at a reasonable price. 👌🏾

Nice place to sit outside. The service was also super friendly, but the bar took longer with two cokes than the kitchen with our food.

Good location and atmosphere 👌 Chicken Tacos, Fish and Chips 🍟 were really great! Yummy and crispy!! Perfect! (Bruschetta not Recommend as the bread is the type of well wet and ingredients are not well matched,,) Recommend to visit here! **** 2nd time with my family Pizza 🍕 was ordered this time and it was very great.

My family of 7- 5 kids & 2 adults, attended the sandbar for dinner the 15/02/2024. The meal was delicious, atmosphere was splendid and the time there was extremely pleasant. Staff were kind and helpful. 4 of us had the rump steak, 1 had a parmy, 1 had kids fried fish and 1 had kids Spaghetti. For our palates the spaghetti was aweful, it’s had a taste of mint ( or maybe too much basil now I think of it?) so that went mainly untouched. Everything else from the gravy right through to the steaks were amazing. It was a really pleasant experience! It is Quite expensive when 7 of us go out, but the sandbar was surprisingly well priced! I am really pleased with our experience! & I belive the spaghetti not being enjoyed is purely due to our palate preferences as 1 of the adults didn’t mind it (although had Their own meal). Definitely recommend & 100% will return on out next QLD trip. *** my images are heavily cropped & do not do justice!

Absolutely loved this place! We were in SurfersParadise for only 4 days but we couldn't help but come here every morning for breakfast rather than trying another cafe elsewhere. The breakfast options were great and I loved everything I ordered, especially the açai bowl. The location right by the beach made the whole experience even better! Would love to try the lunch and dinner options next time we visit.

The food was nice, ordered the avo and toast and a side of poached eggs, I'm confident Gold Coast doesn't know that the yolk should be runny, not boild. But I have accepted this reality. Would of given a 5 star, but due to the lack of customer interaction ( non at all ).

Looking for somewhere for breakfast on our last day in the Gold Coast. Ended up here. Nicely presented meals. I would have expected more for what I paid for my add-ons however. My Fritters was small in serving, add on Smoke Salmon and small amount of bacon the dish end up costing $31.Asked for the Bacon on the sode and as you can see on the picture it is not. Also states on the menu that it came with poached eggS and there was only one on the plate. Asked for no tomatoe relish on the bacon and eggs,it was on there and it just ended up wasted and untouched

Went with a group of friends for late breakfast , our coffee prepared by Oscar was very good( we liked it so much we asked for the name of the barista) ,as well as the food we were served by a nice waitress. Location and atmosphere were perfect for our Sunday brunch, we will definitely return.

Came for dinner last night, we were staying at the hotel upstairs. Super happy with the drinks and food, and the location was beautiful with a lovely ocean view while we dinned. Had chips, chicken tenders and a prawn pizza- all delicious! Happy hour was 4-6 and heaps of great $6 drink deals. Will come back next time we are on the coast for sure. ☺️

Lovely place and lovely spot for a late lunch on a weekday during the school holidays. Very accommodating staff and explained how to order via the app. Food was out in a jiffy and beverages too. Fish tacos were tops! Fish and chips were also spot on! My only complaint was the weather that day!

A lovely breakfast spot in the sun. Prompt service with a good menu. The food was tasty. The mocha and hot chocolate were way too sweet. It has a good vibe.. felt like we were in Waikiki!

Grab your own menu, find own table, order own meal through QR code (lucky had 14 year old with me) $90- seafood platter for 2 would not feed 1 person. Maybe a starter. A regular order for wherever I travel and smallest by far. Had to both purchase a kebab to even think about having enough.

Good food - not great but not bad. Could’ve been hotter and the iced drinks could’ve had more flavour. Location is fantastic. Overall pretty reasonable.

Love the location of the Sandbar, facing the beach with cool sea breeze. The staff were great and the food is great. We had their Chicken Taco, Grilled Salmon and a selection of their pizzas.

Good location on the beach. Lots of indoor and outdoor tables. Order at the bar and help yourself to cutlery, condiments etc. Meals were reasonably priced and presented well.

Meals were good, tasty and priced reasonably. Good wine selection and also priced reasonably. Most importantly staffs were all very attentive and friendly. Good place to visit for a feed.

Really trendy and spacious outdoor bar opposite the beach. Ideal for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The place has affordable drinks and food. Great venue to bring a group of friends. It has a really buzzing breakfast vibe in the morning and turns into a really cool night-life venue with a night air breeze. They have an area available for functions but you need to book in advance. Highly recommended and worth checking out if you haven't before.

Absolutely amazing restaurant and bar, great customer service, friendly staff and great food and drinks. Went there 5 days straight with friends for the 4-6 happy hour, was definitely the cheapest drinks we've had. Our last night I had the BBQ ribs with waffle chips, definitely worth the money, the calamari there is also fresh and tender. Would definitely go back Shoutout to Adam, one of the best owners I've seen and deserves a medal

Very nice food and quick service. Had a great eggs benedict and breakfast burger but was told they weren’t doing banana smoothies when ordering. They were however able to give me a different smoothie which still had banana in it? Confusing but still good.

The Calamari was excellent. Very fresh and tender. The main meal of Barramundi was below average. The salad was not fresh, and the chips were over cooked and yuk! Very, below average. The fish was beautiful, though, but not very much of it. The drinks we ordered were enjoyable, at least.

This is a restaurant bar cafe in surfers paradise at Gold Coast. The food is ok, but nothing outstanding. We ordered the grill barramundi fish and beer battered flat head fish and chips. We also ordered two coffee which was not too bad. The restaurant is by the beach, so the feeling and scenery was quite magnificent. We get to enjoy the ocean view and hear the wave sound and feel the sea breeze, what more can you ask for. 😊 feeling
