Great place for a beer! As Belgium tourists we liked this place a lot, big assortment of beers and food. We already ate before but the food that passed our table looked amazing! 🙌🏼

The atmosphere is a hive of activity and laughter. A great place to have a dinner with friends although smaller groups are more suited. The staff are very accommodating, friendly and never far away to take your order or accommodate your request. The food is absolutely delicious and comes in pretty good portions considering the prices. The chicken is actually tasty and doesn't rely on the sauce alone to add taste. The mini German sausage hotdogs were particularly spot on. As you can see from the pics, the meals are quite huge. There are many different craft beers available on tap and they do get changed around periodically... apparently. Now whilst craft beers are not my fave there is enough of a selection and a very handy taste guide to help you chose a drink to suite your palate. All in all a great place, second visit and once again still impressed.

Stumbled upon this place last minute for some dinner and found the perfect meal before going out: Adult 'kids' nugget and a fruit tingle. As ridiculous as it sounds the chicken nuggets were unreal and the fruit tingle was deadly. I also really enjoyed the live music. Great environment for a relaxed but entertaining night out!

We had dinner booked for 7pm & ordered the following: Classic burger, Southern fried chicken burger, Veggie corn pizza, Pear goat cheese salad & Cheesy garlic bread. Food was delicious. The burgers are over sized. Classic burger comes with 2 beef patties. The veggie pizza is nice and lite. You easily eat the whole pizza on your own. We ordered an Above the clouds cocktail which comes with a side of dry ice as a gimmick. A bit sour for my liking, but partner drank it & liked it. Also ordered a jam donut shot (not pictured) which was delicious. Service was quick. I don’t understand why a water jug can’t be left on the table. Had to ask for top ups a few times. It’s annoying & I think also wastes the waitress’ time, when we could easily pour it ourselves. You have the option to pay upfront or they hang onto your card & then pay at the end.

The best waitresses, drinks came out in perfect timing as did the food. Music was amazing and overall experience was 11/10. (Waitress with curly black hair was such a queen, staff so chatty loved it!) If you love music, drinks and food with perfect service definitely recommend!!! Came back twice because it was so good, food and drinks are priced perfectly for what you get!

Das was a fantastic hostess letting my son know to be careful of his hot plate and keeping up with the steady demand for beverages her polite and friendly service was commendable. Complementary to the great service was the awesome food and menu, live music ambient atmosphere and a euphoric amount of micro brews to be sampled.. bloody awesome joint 👍👊

One of my favourite venues on the Gold Coast and a regular. A huge range of really good craft beer on tap, cocktails are great and the food is perfect for the style of venue. Staff are always friendly and attentive. Would 100% reccomend going here on your travels.

A beer bar for beer lovers. Very nice assorted craft breweries and beer styles on tap. Enthusiastic bar tender who knows and loves beer. Visited just for beer and didn't have any food . The black Flanders beer was excellent just like in Belgium. The double West Coast IPA was very good and you actually taste the hops, so many Australia IPA do not have hop/IBU taste. The uncharted west Coast IPA was not hoppy at all and tasted like a pale ale, definitely not a west Coast IPA would not recommend. The cascadian dark ale was very good and nicely balanced. The pale was solid. Not very busy midday, not much parking. Would definitely recommend visiting if you like beer

Upper-class pub with a great atmosphere in the middle of Suffers. Amazing selection of brews, with FINALLY a decent size beer with the Stein. Service could do with just a little improvement, took us awhile to flag someone down, however extremely friendly and polite, something Sydeny fails in. Food was mostly great, however the wings/drumlets were a little dry and tasted as if they had been thawn out. Otherwise great experience and do recommend.

To be honest, we stopped by because it was the only venue with the kitchen open after 9 p.m. We ordered 1 kilo of nachos (paid an extra 11 dollars for beef “on top”) and a full rack of “PORK” ribs to share BUT the food taste was not good at all. No meat on the nachos at all and the food tasted like microwave food!!! There wasn't meat on those “PORK” ribs either way. And the bill was around 130 dollars without drinks (Alcohol) Asked the waitress if they had juices and she didn't even know. She had to look at the menu and then she came back saying that they had fresh juice. My friend ordered a “fresh orange juice” that tasted like Coles juice plus a glass full of ice. HAHAHA The staff is doing a great job asking people to write a review to get free food because this motivated me to write about how bad the food is. Sad, sad. We ate cuz we already paid for it but never will come back. I WISH, I could get that money back 😡

It is a stop that I always make in surfer paradise, this time we ordered some wings, a pizza and a beef steak that were very delicious as always. Good beer list, we tried the palette and it was a good experience, what a shame we ended up full and couldn't order dessert

After coming last week for lunch the food and service was so great that we came back for a cocktails this afternoon ! We had the most amazing host Vonnie when we first came , she made my daughter feel so special! and when we came back a week later she was working and remembered us and the drink we came back for lol 😂 Our whole extended family loved her the first time we were there. The energy and actual real service iv not seen in a long time. And on our return she was just as amazing. U have a keeper with her and we will be back just for her! Also the food is amazing and the drinks …( the princess omg most amazing cocktail presentation I’ve ever seen and I’m almost 40) Well done guys u have an amazing place and with staff like Vonnie u have a winner !

Great place for a beer, recommend a stein for for value for money. Not the cheapest place around but it has a great range of beers and food selection. We were there 5.30, was starting to get busy. Staff were helpful and very friendly.

Despite one of our party thinking that a house of brews is a coffee shop, we were instantly welcomed by staff, including the kids. Staff were knowledgeable about the details of the menu, which was a bonus for our large and hungry group. Particularly happy about the charging ports available, although make sure it's returned to the base and not cleared away by the waitress, as you'll be charged more! Great variety, great location!

This is our second visit to the Gold Coast and this time we didn't hesitate to come to this restaurant for dinner. I think the chef at this restaurant is amazing. My friends and I think we've had the best steak here. We have great memories every time we come to this restaurant.

I had high hopes when I saw the menu. I got the Platform 9 3/4 cocktail and it was delicious! I didn't taste alcohol and it definitely hit me. I ordered a GF mighty meaty pizza and it looked yummy but tasted horrible. There was no flavor to the chicken wing and the pizza itself was somehow cold yet hot? I took 2 bites and sent it back. The deconstructed burger salad I had instead was delicious!

A brewery that packs a punch with their flavours! If you love a good pale ale or just good beer in general then this place is the place to go!! They do tasting paddles where you get to try your choice of flavours. Ink gin with elderflower tonic is a must try too. While you're there make sure you get something delicious from the kitchen.

Awesome service by Gustavo. Very accommodating helping us moving to better seats and recommending the food. Absolutely loved everything we ate and drink. Impressed with how well all the staff treated us, with beautiful smiles and friendly service. This place is definitely a must if you’re on the Gold Coast!

Walking down the lane of Surfer paradise and you feel like looking for some place nice to chill…. A must check out House of Brews….the service and food is remarkable. Thanks to Mia you’re a beautiful soul for helping through suggesting the best food and drinks along with constant service and concern for us being comfortable. We enjoyed our time here.

Good location half down Orchid Ave, great beer and the food is pretty good too! They also have theatrical style cocktails for something a bit different. Lively crowd on a good night!

Nice friendly open brewery nestled in the heart of Surfers Paradise. Great selection of craft beers with the options for taster paddles which gave us a real array of options to choose from. I thought the staff could’ve been a bit friendlier on the day as they seemed in a rush to get us out the door!

Went out last night on a mission to have good steak and cocktails and came across this place that filled my needs exactly! Great atmosphere, good music, great steak and ribs and absolutely the best cocktails. Our waitress (I think Jolie??) was on top of her game and friendly. We didn't wait long at all for food and it was a busy place. I recommend the Steak, Ribs and Green Goblin cocktails!

An amazing place to eat. The prices are so reasonable and the serving sizes are ridiculous! We bought the hallumi sticks the pretzel, the crispy salmon, Al fungi, the kids burger, tasting board lazy Susan, and our drinks....nothing could be faulted....except our service person @Aary 😜 who was just wonderful! Gorgeous young lady and very knowledgeable. The girl has basically had everything on the menu (drinks and food!) She was on point with everything she suggested and said. Look no further for great service and value for money! Not one dish was disputed among the group.

Awesome place for beers...obviously. Great beer paddles and an awesome gin list too! A bit noisy but hey adds to the atmosphere. Great staff. Highly recommend. Did not eat here - only drank.

Not too good. Wait staff don't bother to tell you that certain items on the menu aren't available, then when you order they don't bring what you ordered, then try to argue with you. Service was bad, burger wasn't good, but the beer was great. Won't be back.

The food here is very good and the service is even better busy sadly for a house of brews they sell out of drinks way too quickly! Came here on a Saturday night and had a paddle. Loved one of the drinks but when I went to order a Stein, they told me it was sold out. Same for my second choice. The rest of the evening went great so we came back the next day in hopes of a restock. Unfortunately this time about 5 drinks I tried to order from the updated menu were unavailable. Think the ordering list needs to be updated.

Had a great time at House of Brews tonight, delicious food and a awesome cocktail menu. The staff were happy and friendly which made for the perfect night out. Favourite place we have been on the Gold Coast.

American style eatery and bar with gigantic portions - both for the alcohol and the food. Not a bad thing as both the pulled pork and steak was better than expected. The steak was cooked to medium rare perfection!

We have been to the House of Brews three times during our stay in the Gold Coast. Each time it has been great. Friendly staff, great cleanliness and a feeling of being safe. The staff remembers us on next few visits. The staff all seemed happy to be there and worked well together. The cocktails are fantastic. The tasting paddle was a hit with my husband and father in law. We loved the shared watermelon cocktail. The first day we made the mistake of ordering two tasking plates! They are HUGE! And really well done. Nice quality. One was enough to feed a family of four (note we have two hangry teenagers). It is great value for money. Sorry I forgot to take a photo of them. Highly recommend.

Came because of the interesting name, and absolutely loved it! We were so impressed by the amazing service and the extensive range on the menu! The cocktails did not disappoint and the food was just as great. Would recommend 10/10, will be coming back!

Had a great time at house of brews Vonnie, our amazing waitress was so lovely and helpful. Honestly can’t recommend this place enough. Had the spicy death wings sauce on the side and it had a real nice burn and lingering aftermath 🥵🤩 10/10
