Definitely one of the best restaurants on the coast!! Food was amazing and a whole range of cocktails and drinks made our night a perfect one. Staff were also attentive and professional. Thank you, all!

This quaint but funky little restaurant/bar provides a fun escape from the classic GC vibes. Very dark and moody but with a cozy feel. An interesting menu that's very much Japanese with a twist (incorporating things like bao buns and some less traditional Japanese ingredients). We tried the deep fried eggplant, teriyaki salmon, garlic/chilli edamame and calamari. All delicious - but small serves as it's designed to be tapas style, so know if you're going there hungry, you'll probably need 2-3 plates to satisfy (which obviously makes it more of a pricey meal). The staff were lovely and despite being a Saturday night, the restaurant was fairly quiet so easy to have a nice chat. Great little Japanese fusion place with woody decor. All dishes cooked with a lot of thought. Recommended when you are after good quality Japanese food but looking after something a little different.

Staff are friendly, good distance between table, good taste for the new style of Japanese food, the only down side are the price and the portion of the food.

A very low-key restaurant with high-end food. And yes, although the food was delicious, it lacked in quantity, noting that at other Japanese restaurants, I ordered similar meals and left feeling full. Here, I left hungry (not starving, but I could have eaten more) keeping in mind the amount of money I had just spent. I did love the fusion flavour and menu items. Highlights for me were the sesame Karaage chicken & Egg plant miso. Bao buns, Gyozas & wagyu steak were all great, too. The staff were fast to react to your needs. I do recommend booking in for the nights they have the specials as bookings are required, all though they did still serve us the $5 bao-buns. That was much appreciated. The layout is rather tight, but cosy. I loved the architectural design of the building. It was something different and stood out from the modern and plain. Thanks again for a lovely meal and a wonderful experience.

Amazing service from staff. Each dish was as good or better than the next. My friends and I went 2 times in one week and plan on going back next week. The cheesy dumplings were the highlight for all of us. We could have eaten a plate each!

A fun little Japanese fusion restaurant in Broadbeach. While the atmosphere is definitely a cool vibe, the tables are placed relatively close together in some areas of the restaurant. Staff were friendly and food and drinks were delivered promptly with little wait time. The cocktails were definitely the strength of this venue, feel safe knowing whatever you choose you will receive a delicious drink. The food while served hot lacked the authenticity of a more traditional Japanese restaurant, a result of the fusion menu. Portion sizes are quite small compared to the price and found I ordered multiple dishes at a high price point compared to some other restaurants in the same category offering much more for less. Definitely worth checking out and a wonderful atmosphere to spend a date night or have dinner and drinks with a friend!

Best food I’ve ever had! This is my favourite restaurant on the Gold Coast. My mum is a very picky eater and she loved, not liked, loved everything we ate. Special mention to the beef tataki! So buttery and beautiful umami flavours!

Delicious food. Nice mix of sashimi, fried, and noodle dishes. Their home made vodka drink was delicious 🥰 as was the agedashi tofu 😍 Good was a little slow coming out and half of table had finished eating by the time the last person's food arrived, but their service probably suits share plates better than individual means YMMV. still good enough, will be back for more 😁💕

Excellent service and many great options for vegetarians. Tempura Eggplant in Miso sauce was exceptional. Definitely a place to share plates. Couldn’t fault the restaurant.

First time diner here. I am a very fussy person and I enjoyed everything we tried. The calamari was incredible the beef shoulder lovely and the beef tataki was the most incredible taste so delicious. Thank you

Absolutely delicious! The staff are professional and very friendly. I was having dinner on my own as a treat and couldn't have had a better time. Also great for an intimate evening and groups. I'll be going back with friends very soon.

I was told by waitress that it would be like izakaya style. I wouldn’t call izakaya style of food. Its not bad but i wouldn’t say its not authentic Japanese
