Great food, very poor service. Had a late lunch seating. If the staff had bothered to let us know the kitchen shut at x time (which is very reasonable) it would have saved a lot of disappointment. Completely disjointed service, no one told us the specials. One waiter would ask if we were ready for our next course a few minutes into our starter, I asked for 10 mins. 30 seconds later someone brought out our main. After finishing our shared main I asked for the menu back and the waiter screwed up his face and said is it for dessert because the kitchen is closing. I said sure that’s fine. Never saw the menu again. One of the wait staff was sitting directly behind us making disparaging remarks about one of the customers appearance within our earshot. I ate at the sister of restaurant orzo a week ago and had a beautiful experience, one of the wait staff suggested I visit Social but I won’t be back despite the food being delicious.

Rode past here last week on my scooter and the smells were amazing, so we decided to go the following Friday. Very nice food indeed. Probably the best Lamb I have had in a long time. The prawns were amazing and very fresh. The one oyster I ordered could have been bigger..and also the drinks took a little too long to come out. I'm excited to go back to try more on the menu..

An outstanding Fine Dining Experience. The selection of quality meals here cannot be overstated. Beautifully presented and cooked to perfection, the Dining experience is enhanced by the amazing staff and complimented by a superb wine selection. Dining on the Gold Coast? Do not miss visiting this top notch Restaurant. 10 out of 10 for sure!

We had an amazing night, we can not recommend enough! The food was a standout, cocktails and wine were divine.. but more importantly we had THE BEST waiter, his knowledge of the menu and his overall service was just outstanding! Thanks Vito, a shout out to you, you made our experience at Social that much better! Thank you - we look forward to returning!

Great menu and service. Four of us went with a “feed me” menu and they took care of us. Started with king fish sashimi and ended with slow cooked lamb, roasted potatoes and brussells sprouts. Highly recommend the entire experience.

What a great experience this venue was. The service, atmosphere and of course the food were all perfect. We had the lamb empanadas, Buratta, lamb shoulder and a few snacks from the specials. Everything was as good as it looked but the Buratta was exceptionally delicious. Will be back again for sure! Reccomend booking as it gets very busy!

We had no reservation so just sat at the bar area. Friendly staff and chefs, food was really delicious. Not only seafoods are must-try in Gold Coast, I also highly recommend the lamb. Really really tender and juicy.

We had an amazing dinner here! It was pouring rain but the restaurant was quite busy. We sat outside next to a heater and received sensational service! Every dish had intricate flavours and came out quickly. The Brussel sprouts were so crispy and flavourful. Already excited to return and try more delicious menu items!

A must visit on the Gold Coast. From the smaller pates, sides and larger plates! Sharing style. Great choice of beverages. Lamb empanadas are a must, burrata salad, scallops and the chicken/ lamb large plates! Fantastic and sassy service from Adam. Thank you!

A lovely yet very busy venue with great food. The front of house was sort of rude, possibly due to how packed and loud the venue was. We did book an inside table in advance and were sadly sat outside. However our waiter was extremely lovely, and he really put a smile on our faces. It was actually my birthday and two waitresses and our waiter were lovely enough to present a birthday dish and a little happy birthday wish. For starters we had the white seasme cracker with salmon tartae (fresh and melt in your mouth), and the seared clams which was complimented with a lovely and rich sauce. For the main we had wagyu steak which was coated in a sweet and savoury what seems like a marinade. However I don't believe it was worth it as the portion was extremely small. The sides were great. The first was the fried brussels with maple, bacon and hazelnuts which was rich and lovely. This was complimented by the second side being the roasted potatoes which I found them to be good however left me wishing they were crispier as they did lose their crispness after about 20 minutes being on the table. However the potatoes and brussels helped compliment the wagyu.

We planned a long weekend away on the Goldie and booked to stay at the Peppers. We checked out the restaurants nearby on Google maps and spotted the Social Eating House straight away. Prices are up from Brizzie but that’s true for all places in Broadbeach. We arrived at midday and couldn’t check in yet. The Eating House is literally 50 steps away and we asked to sit at the bar for a drink and snacks. The staff were amazing and so very accomodating! We chose Puffed sesame rice cracker, fish tartare, soy, ginger and wasabi; Seared scallop, seaweed butter, potato crisp and shiso; and Savoury donut, smoked trout mouse, fennel, caviar and dill. All three just world class performers. We had a beautiful glass of Soave to complement these amazing tasting creations. We checked out the dinner menu and the waitress explained the Fish of the day to us. OMG, to die for. Grilled ocean trout on a bed of seafood cannelloni with beurre blanc. Unfortunately, the restaurant was fully booked for both Friday and Saturday night. Yet, we have a solid reason to come back now. Social Eating House + Bar Je t’adore XO

Immaculate meal, incredible ambiance & excellent service! I have just visited two 4 Aussie states in the last 2 weeks and I have eaten at so many fancy restaurants. This resto so far beats everything. Perfect flavour profiles, every dish is perfectly seasoned, service was top-notch. If I had to recommend any Gold Coast restaurant this would be it!

Nice fine dining atmosphere but we found the food just average! The wagyu was quite nice but the chicken was a little dry in our opinions. the risotto was alright too but our favourite was the fried brussel sprouts side dish. overall nice experience and perfect for dates although the food wasn’t too special.

Chanced a rainy Sunday lunch without a booking. We have wanted to go for ages as everyone says it is so good. Food was amazing and the service was impeccable. We were not disappointed. We enjoyed the scallops, king ceviche, the to die for slow cooked lamb and the best pasta I have ever had. Highly recommend if you want to spoil yourselves :)

The five stars were given for the amazing food, delightful cocktails & excellent venue. If I could give an additional star I would & that would go to our wait staff tonight who went above and beyond to make our eating experience one to remember. Thanks team, will definitely be back, highly recommend!!

I accidentally ate in this restaurant before because it was the only restaurant open late. But boy, was I surprised how good the food was. I came with no expectations and I was blown away. The truffle risotto was my favourite. The servings for me were quite small for the price but it was delicious. So good that I always come back here when I am in town. My new found favourite restaurant in Broady. IG @lilgirlfrommanila

Food is really not reaching the level of a fine dining restaurant. Bar snacks are generally good, small plate, the beef carpaccio was nice too. But other small plates, we ordered pipis with white bean ragu, which tasted like supermarket beans and the pipis were not fresh. We also ordered fried quail, tasted no difference from what I can expect from a street Thai yellow curry. For the main, we ordered charcoal chicken, 72 dollars for half of burnt chicken… Service was ridiculous, the three small plates were served separately and with long waiting time intervals! We were basically having to watching each other eating and waiting for our own. I really don’t understand how this restaurant won a price.

The food was amazing. We taste tested the beef tartar and king prawn entree and both were to die for (not pictured here) then we had the pork knuckle and Wagyu as mains (share plates) and the potatoes with gruyere cream. All were beautifully seasoned and the flavours were divine. I had a pomegranate mocktail that was really beautiful. Overall, I would definitely come here again even though it is on the expensive end of things every bite was worth it. I would've rated 5 stars but the service was pretty average and there was nothing memorable about it. Ambience is classy yet relaxed.

Really enjoyed the food here especially the king prawn risotto seriously it was to die for, so creamy and rich in flavour. Portions here are small so I would suggest going with a big group in order to order more quantities to try different things as it’s share plates, Adam our waiter was fantastic he turned our night around as we were very disappointed we got seated outside on the last table on the corner it’s was cold but mostly annoying because we wanted to have the full experience with the atmosphere and new fit out. Since you do have to book there should be a way of booking specifically for areas as there’s no point of booking if your going to get sat outside anyway. Cocktails are lovely just very pricey for the amount of Ice to drink ratio so, overall not bad just think if they want to charge high prices the seating and drinks have to be on par with the food.

Such friendly staff, so attentive and eager to please. Meal was faultless, drinks menu equally impressive. One of the best places I have eaten in a long time.

Stunning food and the staff were friendly and inviting. Drinks were great and we'll priced. Perfect for a couple looking for a fine dining experience.

Was first seated inside in front of the kitchen where I at first wasn't too happy being on our first dinner without kids so far this year and couldn't hear my partner next to me talking as its extremely loud but upon asking to be seated elsewhere, they were happy to move us to a table outside which I had originally requested with a heater. We did enjoy our share style food and I love the cocktail and drinks menu. Food was a little slow to come out but all in all we had a good night and enjoyed our time there

It’s our first time here for dinner. We used Play money rewards voucher. We went there just they opened. It smelled cooking baguette 🥖 It made me to order it 😆 The caramelized butter came with it. It was so tasty 😍 The pork was very tender🥰 I loved the fried Brussel sprouts 🤩 I think some dishes were lack of something🤔 The service was quite good. A waiter made a mistake our order 🤣 But it didn’t matter for us because the wrong order was quite yummy 😋 I loved the glass of white wine which a waiter picked me. Totally we had a lovely nice 😊 I was super full😮‍💨 I’d love to try another dish next time 🥰🥰🥰

Amazing fish!!! The chef is very good at preparing fish and mixing the flavours! I had their salmon with rice cracker, pan seared fish, and fish carpaccio. Everything was so good. Defo the best meal I’ve had in QC so far! The waitress girl was super nice too! Was an awesome experience!

Amazing meal had in this beautiful venue. Highly recommend coming for dinner. Oysters were fresh and well seasoned. Please order the intercostal beef! A dish you cannot miss. Lovely service and atmosphere to go with the delicious food.

One of the easiest 5 stars I’ve given, my wife and I dined here for our wedding anniversary and the food + service was just fantastic! They really made the night special for us. Thanks so much!
