Turtle Beach is pretty good. The grounds are very lush, there are four pools and a splash park, kids club with activities every day, a decent cafe, and mini golf. Our room was nice, plenty of space, comfortable beds, all the basics in the kitchen. There were some drawbacks for us. The whole stay has a slight feeling of cheapness. You only get one roll of toilet paper and have to pay if you need more. Same thing for bin liners etc. Our room was the superior (recently updated) and I'm glad it was because the property is clearly a bit dated. The slides can only be used by children, not a weight rule, just an age one. Which we found disappointing because it was less fun and because our daughter wouldn't give it a go without us. They were super inflexible about it too, not even to let us go with her for her first ride or to walk her up the steps. The cafe only serves pizza and chips at dinner time. It's a lot of money for what feels like an upgraded caravan park.

Pros - the resort aesthetic feels tropical and the pools are great. Kids wouldve been happy to never leave the resort for anything else! Was nice and handy having the little restaurant / bar near the splash zone so mum and dad can relax. The room was spacious and was surprised to have 2 bathrooms. Staff were all lovely. Cons - was very irritated when we realised we had to make the kids beds (bunk beds) the absolute last thing I feel like doing after a long day of travelling and spending over $1700 on accommodation . And only 1 blanket per child seemed weird. No doona or spare blankets. The other annoying thing was, even though the restaurant does take away, you could never call the restaurant to place an order. So you'd have to go down there , line up for ages, then sit and wait for it to be ready, defeating the purpose of take away really. Seems like with all the kids working there it wouldn't be so hard to have a working phone and do room service.

Really can't fault it. Parking is tight if you're a bit of a timid driver, but otherwise it's spot on in all regards. Facilities well maintained. Team are helpful. Booking service is useful. Just a few metres from a Woolworths Metro.

Having just returned from a week stay, I highly recommend this resort. Very well presented resort. The kids loved the 5 pools and spa, kids splash zone, cinema. Also the cafe/deck area, games room, BBQ facilities, store, tennis court & basketball area - too much more to mention. Tidy grounds & tidy rooms. Underground parking is handy and close to all rooms too. Staff are very helpful & friendly. Very highly recommended.

Really disappointed with what we got. The website made it look amazing, but our experience was a nightmare. The cleanliness of the room was way below standard, bedsides and bathroom not even dusted, mirror had not even been wiped, bed throws were stained as well as the two big larger rugs on the floor. The lounge was broken on one end and was not comfortable at all, old furnishings even though the website stated that it was strata property and 2 bedroom superior rooms had been updated with new furniture packages to their standard which was not true at all. The Glass dining table had duck tape all around it holding the glass on. Said The kitchen had full faciltiies, all the kitchen utensils etc were old, no oven trays or anything was dirty. The ensuite shower rails kept falling off the wall, we couldn't even hang up our towels. The dishwasher didn't even work. The coffee table and decor was old and way outdated. It was my 30th birthday, 2yr anniversary and our first family holiday away and when your paying over $1000 + you expect to get something half decent, these may only be small things but it put a huge downer on our holiday. In terms of being comfortable, we hardly spent time in the room. The facilities for the kids were great. But definitely wasn't worth paying the amount we did for our experience

Just returned from a 7 day stay with the family. This kids loved having the huge range of pools and activities available at their door step. The rooms were well kept and spacious. Having the kitchen and laundry facilities in the room was fantastic. Restaurant on site was really nice. We will be back.

Excellent place to visit. Rooms are spacious and kept clean. Swimming pools on the facility are amazing, but the highlight of this place it LOCATION. Walking distance to the beach and great cafes in the surrounding area. NEW Woolworths Metro opened just a couple of meters down the street for all you shopping needs. Great for families!!

I really liked it! I was visiting friends who were on holiday from New Zealand. Got to swim in the pool, which was freezing, would've been nice if it had been heated! Had a lovely pizza for lunch. The room they stayed in was awesome. I would definitely consider going there for a weekend, if I could afford it. đź‘Ťđź‘Ť

What an amazing resort! The pools are great - the adult pool and spa are fantastic places where you can really relax. The gym sauna is nice. The apartment was spacious and clean. The location is good and they offer kids club for an additional fee.

"Welcome Home!" Nothing beats arriving at this resort and being welcomed that way! Just had a five night stay at the beautiful Turtle Cove Resort and it was amazing as always. There is no place like it, just magical. The location is just perfect and the view is amazing. The staff were all friendly and welcoming. Perfectly suited for the uniqueness that the venue holds. The management couple, Nathan and Julian, are so integral to the overall feeling of the place. The best hosts ever!!

My stay here with my family was really great. The food on site was really amazing. A great variety of pools and slides are available, which caters to people of all ages. It is probably more suited to families. The location was great and we could go off for a day and come back to a lovely room. The staff throughout our stay were polite and friendly. Definitely a great place to stay.

Great little spot here. Very kid friendly. Lots of different pools with slides for the kids. Kids club was amazing. They had mini golf and tennis courts on site, plus a small cafe/restaurant that did the job. But i think the main selling feature was that you get a full apartment, with cooking facilities and laundry. Plus there is a Woolies a short walk down the road

We stayed 12 nights here, and we’re glad we did. Our apartment was everything we required and more. Beds were all comfortable, the extras of washing machine, dryer and hanger, made life so much easier. All the staff at resort were welcoming and helpful. From the breakfast and kids packs on arrival, kids club, cinema, The Deck, games room, pool options and splash zones, you couldn’t want for anything. Shopping just next door, beach in walking distance, and Surfers just up the road. The perfect spot for a family holiday

Absolutely loved our stay. Stayed there twice back to back weekends. Loved that it was so family friendly. Spoke with so many parents and made the most of the two pool areas. Mini-golf there, kids club, cinemas, tennis area & outdoor cafe that’s right next to pools. Loved the hot pools especially because it got chilly during the late afternoon/evenings. Water slides were so much fun. Nearby shopping centres, walking distance to woolies and hypermarket. Beach nearby & mini golf and other activities we didn’t get to do. But definitely a great spot for families. Recommend to anyone trying to find family friendly accommodation with lots to do.

Turtle Beach Resort, offers an exceptional vacation experience. The resort's stunning location near the beach allows guests to enjoy breathtaking views and easy access to the water. The amenities are top-notch, from the spacious and comfortable rooms to the array of pools and water slides, perfect for families and couples alike. The staff is friendly and accommodating, making the stay even more enjoyable. Furthermore, the resort's kid's club and activities provide endless entertainment for children. However, some guests might find the dining options a bit limited. Overall, Turtle Beach Resort is an excellent choice for a memorable and relaxing getaway on the Gold Coast.

We stayed here for 10 nights with our 5 and 3 year olds. Great resort with 3 pools. The kids loved the slides and the mini golf scattered around the resort. Although the rooms were a bit tiered it’s perfect for a family holiday. My only complaint would be on our final 2 days we had a large group of teenagers partying downstairs and staff didn’t seem to break it up at a reasonable hour. Our kids couldn’t sleep because of this. Otherwise it was a great place to stay with a young family.

We recently stayed at Turtle Beach Resort for 4 nights and were super impressed! Our 3 bedroom apartment had everything we needed and was clean and well furnished. The resort itself has plenty to keep the kids occupied and is spread out over a large area so plenty of different spaces to enjoy. The staff were all so lovely, helpful and welcoming! Only a short walk away is a Woolworths so very easy to do a quick little grocery shop for the essentials. We also dined in the onsite cafe which was simple but lovely and made for an easy night after a big day. Highly recommend, we will hopefully be back in the near future!

We really loved our stay here. Staff were lovely, on site restaurant was great, pools and water park were awesome!! The rooms were well equipped, and being able to do laundry made life much easier. Our family had the best time. The kids didn't stop and the waterpark was definitely their favourite thing. The only down side is not being pram friendly. Trying to lug prams up stairs constantly became a sore point. But apart from that it was a brilliant stay and we'll definitely be returning.

Stayed here for 7 nights. Door key was very hit and miss, would work sometimes and other times it wouldn’t. Lack of towels in the room to eliminate extra washing. Found 2 cockroaches in the main bathroom and dishwasher. Dishwasher smelt disgusting. Apartment had crazy amounts of dust. Beds were very uncomfortable. Location was okay if you want to be between Burleigh and Surfers. Will stay somewhere else next trip. .

A fantastic family resort. Great pools and splash park. Nice sized apartments close to the pools. Great little restaurant with nice food. The kids loved the place and so did us adults! Staff were really nice and helpful making trips to and from the airport and theme parks a breeze. The location is also ideal. Close to the beach (400 m), supermarket and several cafes with nice coffee and breakfast. Will be back!

This resort has so much to offer. Perfect for all ages. Food was good. Cocktails were yummy. The resort is central to so much fun parks. Surfers paradise is close and so many restaurants. You will not be disappointed. Highly recommend if you are looking for somewhere to stay on the Gold Coast

What a wonderful family friendly stay. great range of pools, slides for the kids. Amazing location close to some quality food and coffee. 2 blocks to the beach. Rooms have all you need plus some nice touches like tennis racquets, balls and inflatables for the kids. Highly recommend.

Rooms are very spacious. We have stayed here on a few occasions. We will continue to holiday here, kids love the pools and slides and putt putt. Rooms are clean and very quiet. Cooking can be done in your rooms but the deck restaurant is awesome to get your food.

Had a short break here from Melbourne. Kids loved it, plenty of different pools and slides to go on plus kids club, cinema, on site restaurant/cafe/bar . Adults only pool too which was a great idea. We had a two bedroom apartment which was far larger than expected, clean and tidy. The only critique I would have is that a few walls may need fresh paint and the ceiling fans in the room need checked but apart from that they were really good. Kitchen was well furnished. The Staff were absolutely lovely too, very accommodating and friendly. We tend to go to different places but still have no issues recommending people stay here. It's only about a 7 minute flat walk to the beach too, and a few shops near by but no supermarket so keep that in mind. All in all highly recommended.

Stayed for 6 days. Family of 4 with young kids. Kids loved the pool and the splash zone. Day by day we saw the spa changing colour to a yellow brown. The stairways looked like they had never been cleaned. The lights in the hallways sometimes worked. Dangerous, especially at night. 2 rolls of toilet paper for last 6 days for 4 people. Carpet was gross. Our friends carport was taken by some random and after day 3 the resort still hadn't done anything about it. This place would be more appealing if management took more pride in the accommodation facilities. To end positive, The gardens are beautiful.

Turtle beach is awesome. Our favourite place to stay, to get away with Family. Rooms are nice and tidy. Lots of pools, spa pools including water park, mini putt, Tennis court, Cafe, little convenient store all on site! Plus great places to eat just across the road. And the beach is 5min walk. Great location. A basketball court would be even more awesome, even a half court. And hotter spa pools, and private spas as they can get a bit crowded sometimes. Otherwise Great place to stay for anyone especially Families.

Perfect. This place does exactly what it describes. It's family oriented with a particular focus on pools, including a small water park/play area that was very popular. The rooms are great with everything you need. Parking is limited, so make sure you plan in advance (don't even bother with trailers/campers etc). It's also close to the beach and to some of the sights of the Gold Coast, so you aren't limited to just the park. This place will be an absolute hit if you have kids and they enjoy the water :)

The apartment we stayed in (304) was very dated and needs to be fully stripped out and refurbished. The couches were so filthy I used the spare blankets to be able to sit on them. The carpet felt crispy and sticky. Cobwebs and so much dust. The poor cleaners probably can’t get decent equipment up there to clean properly. The food from the deck was great, the coffee, wine & beers also great. The splash zone was the only reason I’m rating the place as ok - the kids loved it! The pools would do with some shade over the water but otherwise fine.

We've stayed for 2 weeks. The unit is good, clean and tidy although kitchen not really equipped to cater for a family of 5. I have older kids and they loved the pools and spas. The resort really aims for younger kids, if my boys were younger we would have enjoyed the facilities more. The resort is pretty close to everything. Foxtel was a life saver for those nights when we were just too tired to do anything.

Fantastic family holiday! Kids didn't want to leave. Excellent that there are kitchen facilities in your room and a washer / dryer to wash your clothes before you get home!! Staff all so friendly. Kids want to come back soon.

The apartment was roomy and spacious and it's always a bonus when you get a washing machine on holidays. The pools were wonderful, when the heater worked. My daughter liked the slides and the food was okay, the coffee was nice... The whole time you are here you got to lug everything up three flights of stairs, this gets old after your sixth trip down to your car, but hey at least the car has secure parking

  • 4/5 Arctra 1 year ago on Google
Great for little kids with the water slides and multiple pools. Great restaurant on site that offers take away as well as meals on the deck. Cafe has good coffee and open every day from 7am. I think we'll be going back there in future.

What a brilliant stay we had, the resort was very busy and lots of happy kids everywhere. Reception, Pool Guy, Gardener and team at the Deck were great and our apartment was amazing although needed a degree to work some of the appliances. Loved the adult pool and spa. Definitely be back next year

Great kid friendly accomodation! Multiple pools, splash pad, mini golf, kids club, on-site cafe/pizzeria, etc type of place you can just arrive and stay put. Is 5min walk from beach and has other food/coffee options just across the rd. We have stayed a couple of times - experience can be dependent on weather and quality of room you get (mixed bag) and pros and cons to being self sufficient - can do you own meals but no basics like tea/coffee salt/pepper etc. bring your own towel

  • 5/5 Jo W. 1 year ago on Google
We could not fault our stay. Room 132 was just beautiful. The kids loved using all the pools and went to the movies every night. The bonus was having the bus to and from the airport just outside. We ate at The Deck and the food was awesome.

  • 5/5 Missy B. 1 year ago on Google
Very friendly staff when we checked in and out. Three bedroom apartment was clean and tidy. Amenities were perfect, pools and surrounding areas all kept very well maintained and clean. We ate at The Deck several times and were really impressed at the serving sizes of all the meals. Highly recommend this Resort, this was our fourth stay here and it's a great place to take the family.

Our family had a wonderful stay at turtle beach. The kids loved the waterslide area and the pools. The resort is well maintained and clean and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant do decent pizzas and burgers and the menu selection is great. Cocktails were also fantastic. The apartment we stayed in was spacious and provided a comfortable stay. The kids didn’t leave the pool areas until sunset. You can buy a decent coffee at the convenience store and cafe as well. See you next summer turtle beach 👍🏻

Great location with a bunch of activities from several pools and a water play area to mini golf and a tennis court/basketball court and small cinema. Great for families, especially. Food was extremely good. Rooms and resort generally a little old but the size of the room and just what's available (and it's location) more than makes up for it. Highly recommended!

What a fabulous stay! I had rented a cottage, and being a VIP member on my hotel booking website, the property upgraded us to a beautiful townhouse! It was such a peaceful stay and the staff was so laid back, yet super accommodating! The resort is overlooking the bay, with the beach minutes away..so you get the best of both worlds here. It’s off the beatin’ path a bit, so had a nice, quiet week..you can drive a couple miles or take the complimentary trolley to get into more “touristy” areas as well as the village. It was definitely a home away from home, except in PARADISE! We hated to leave. Nothing but positive things to say about Turtle Resort!

We had a great stay but my advice would be to video the room on entry and exit. We were hit with a damage bill 10 days after our stay. No evidence provided. GM refuses to make verbal contact. Hoping Dept of Fair Trading can help me now.
