We recently stayed in the rooftop cabins at QT Gold Coast for 4 nights and it was an insanely amazing experience. The cabin/rooftop felt like a private oasis/glamping which was such a nice change to the standard hotel rooms. In the afternoon, we would receive a complimentary antipasto board as well as a tray with an assortment of items to make your own cocktails with instructions which is such a nice treat. They would also bring by some tea and chocolate before bed. The staff were super accommodating, attentive and friendly. Would definitely come back when on the Gold Coast next. They also provided the most amazing sweets like cookies/bars/chips that were complimentary and they would top it up each day.

Stayed here for four nights in April 2022. Was not informed that construction work was going on at the hotel before arriving. Both in the lobby and refurb of rooms on many levels, including ours. Reception was friendly, we arrived early, so they stored our luggage and let us use the pool which was cool. Room was ready early. Looked freshly redone. Small technical issues like no pressure on cold tap. Looked almost new but we can’t have been first in, as there was cleaner issues, like one random contact lens left on a sideboard and the foils from a body wash already open and left in shower. The room was really good though. Beds don’t use fitted sheets which is a pet hate, especially as they didn’t re-tuck the base well after it came out. We were at the hotel as the same time as a lot of young dancers, which meant the pool was also quite loud. The spa also was not heated. Overall a beautiful hotel but not quite perfect.

The very best place to stay. Cannot fault the wonderful reception staff, The breakfast was great and again the staff were wonderful. Attended the evening buffet meal and this was amazing. Went to the bar and they too were amazing. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel

Although the hotel and staff are lovely the experience was completely marred by the pool policy of allowing guests to book out the cabanas in advance. We were booked in for 4 days and the cabanas were already fully booked out. We were unaware on booking the hotel that this was part of their policy and as a result we were unable to use the pool facility as the other sunbeds were taken up very quickly. Even more frustrating was the fact that a number of the cabanas although reserved remained empty for a large part of the day. Obviously they are more interested in making a few extra dollars than guests being able to enjoy the facilities. I travel fairly extensively and have never come across this before.

Would not recommend a stay at this hotel! Plagued by lots of issues! Dirty cups and food plates all over the pool area, pool bar closed early due to no customers. Poor service all round. Very understaffed too! Rooms really dirty and even dirty sheets on check in, also hair and nails all through bathroom. No apology or anything even after asking for the manager. The staff look really unhappy and it’s not a welcoming hotel at all. Spa couldn’t accomodate a thing during our stay. Would rate the hotel as a 1 star hotel. So many better choices in the area. Buffet breakfast was awful. Huge waste of money as you can go to a local cafe for far better quality. Japanese restaurant was good and the Kevin Murphy shampoo in the rooms. Also Rory in the front was the only nice staff member on site, but that’s it!! Won’t be back ever again. Don’t recommend wasting your money at this hotel. Did not feel like we were on a holiday as just constant issues the entire stay. It’s not 5 star, more 1 star. No luxurious stay here.

This is the only place we will stay on the Gold Coast now I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough! My partner and I stayed 4 nights at the end of September and honestly could not fault our experience! We went straight into our room upon arrival and we were greeted with a welcome back chocolate, which was so nice to be acknowledged as a returning guest! Half way through our stay my partner popped the question and it could not have been a better place to celebrate! The manager went above and beyond from bringing up a bottle of wine, a cheese platter and a congratulations card! We honestly felt like we were home and felt so special so Thank-you! The room is absolutely beautiful! Awesome decor and the bathroom is huge! The new touch of the Dyson products is so cool and very high end! Buffet breakfast was awesome as usual! YAMAGEN is outstanding and by far our favourite place to eat on the Gold Coast! We also love hiring out the bikes to take for a ride down the street! Such a fun activity and made so easy by reception staff. Overall a phenomenal hotel and experience where nothing was ever too much! We felt so looked after here and the service we received was nothing short of amazing! We have already booked to return in January and can’t wait!

Loving this establishment. Staff are super friendly and helpful, room is beautiful, all 3 of the restaurants we have tried have been delicious. Room service is super fast. Both mine and my husbands spa treatments were amazing. Absolutely no complaints at all.

Really nice size room, bathroom and a great view. Not sure it was worth the price however, no complimentary breakfast or parking and I thought for such a high star hotel some movies should be available for free , instead all the extra fees add up for an expensive stay. Would recommend for a night or 2 but probably no more. Stingray bar was awesome but the spar wasn't open

Work trip. Disappointed after a full day of traveling of delayed flights and lengthy transfers, to arrive at 10pm in a so-called 5-star hotel that does not even provide bedroom slippers. Had to ask twice before someone said management had made decision to not provide them. no explanation given. Not much options left for us at 10pm. If this was cost cutting measures there’s much left to be desired. Also found a bunch of leftover hairs in the bathroom area. Done up like a 5 star hotel, with modern interior design, trying to be hip. If only more thought could be put into just addressing basic comforts of guests. Disappointing for the price point. Unlikely to return or recommend in future.

We stayed here as part of a Luxury Escapes deal, we absolutely loved our stay. The hotel presents well in a fun modern way, staff are super friendly. We enjoyed both our breakfast and dinner at Bizzar - food was so fresh and delicious. Beds were so fluffy and comfy. Everything was great! We loved that if you don't use housekeeping you get $10 a night taken off your bill. The tram is a short walk and easy access surfer's paradise and Pacific Fair shopping centre etc. We were lucky enough to get the e bikes whilst there super fun highly recommend. We'd definitely stay here again! 🙂

I recently stayed at QT Hotel and had an amazing experience! The staff was super friendly and helpful, and the rooms were stylish and comfortable. The location is brilliant too, with easy access to nearby attractions. The food at the hotel restaurant was delicious, and the overall atmosphere was vibrant and fun. I highly recommend QT Hotel for a fantastic stay. Once again, thank you to the entire team at the QT hotel for making me and my husband’s stay unforgettable and will definitely visit again! 🙌

One of the best buffets we've had on the Gold Coast! The service was wonderful, from the start our waiter showed us around the buffet and recommended a few different dishes. There is a good selection to choose from, starting from the meats section (sirloin fresh to order), pork, lamb. Seafood is fresh(oysters, bugs and prawns). Dessert selection was great but by then we were super full! Will be visiting again 🤤

QT is amazing , all staff are very efficient and accommodating to all needs. Staff member Tee working the downstairs bar , was exceptional during peak periods. Worked solo and under pressure. Sam on front desk made check in hassle free, and went above and beyond to welcome our stay. This didn't go unnoticed, always a pleasure to stay at QT.

Great hotel room, friendly staff, amazing pool, excellent vibe, close to the tram stop, walking distance to heart of Surfers Paradise. We got early check in too which was amazing! Breakfast was bit of a letdown though. Great food option but the barrista coffee is not included in the price. However, still had the best time at QT hotel and will come back if I ever am in Gold Coast again.

Incredible Establishment. Close to town, in fact, just a short walkThe service was impeccable, the breakfast is TOTALLY worth it! The facilities are beautiful and clean. The bar area was lovely. A great stay. Perfect for couples. The rooms are lovely, but not fit for a family, or to spend a lot of time in due to the size.

Everything about our stay at Qt was perfect. From the minute I booked I had the lovely Rachelle reach out and curate our stay in such a special, personal way. We stayed in the new cabins which are intimate and stylish and everything that we wanted in a night away as a couple. As soon as we arrived we were greeted so kindly and given complimentary drinks at the pool bar. Our room was ready early and Rachelle personally guided us to our room. Complimentary sunset spritz and aperitivo brought up to our room, as well as tea and chocolate before bed was the most thoughtful touch. They’ve really nailed everything at this hotel and you can tell they take so much pride in who they hire. Felt so loved and rejuvenated after only one night there. Thank you Rachelle and everyone else who took care of us. You guys are amazing 🫶

Stayed at the QT whilst in town for a conference event held at the QT. This place was awesome. Really great hotel in a great location on the Gold Coast. The hotel itself is brilliant. Rooms are very modern and comfortable with all the mod cons. Plenty of room and very clean and tidy. Bed was awesome, shower was a little average but not the worst I have had. Great restaurants down stairs and a nice bar and cafe! All in all would highly recommend!

Had a night here for our wedding anniversary. Great location, we paid for the cabin experience. It was nice but way overpriced for what it was. Really wanted to try the Japanese restaurant, but was fully booked, as was breakfast. It was probably our own fault as it was fathers day, and the gold coast show, and springtime festival. We were treated very well though, and the staff were fantastic.

First time in Queensland. Our room was beautiful and the view in our room was breathtaking booked the oceanfront room and the views were unbelievable. All the staff were extremely helpful and lovely very accommodating to any requests. I must admit I was slightly disappointed with the buffet breakfast however dinner at the other restaurants there was amazing. Hotel so central to everything and anything there. Definitely will be back! Thank you once again.

QT is excellent for the receptionist to the rooms and the breakfast was.. omg! The view is beautiful, we have the city view which was perfect for sunset on the balcony with a glass of your favourite. The only thing was the bed is a bit soft for my liking, but some of my colleagues shut eyes as soon as they hit it. Overall, it is excellent. The location was great as well, walling distance to shops and restaurants and beach. Perfect.

I had the most incredible experience at the QT hotel in Surfers Paradise. Our arrival was far from glamorous, as we found ourselves stuck in heavy traffic and car accidents for a staggering 14 hours. But, against all odds, the team at the QT hotel made our check-in process a breeze, even at the ungodly hour of 2:30 am. I was immediately struck by the spaciousness of our room and the undeniable comfort of the bedding. The attention to detail was impressive, with even a Dyson hairdryer provided for that extra touch of luxury. And oh, the view! We were treated to an absolutely stunning panorama of the Surfers Paradise skyline right from our window. Tomorrow, I have every intention of taking full advantage of the hotel's spa and pool facilities. The day spa looks like a veritable oasis, beckoning me to unwind and forget the stresses of the journey. I can hardly contain my excitement for the perfect relaxation that awaits me there. Overall, I cannot speak highly enough of the QT hotel in Surfers Paradise. The attentive service, spacious room, and luxurious amenities have surpassed all my expectations. If you're seeking a haven of relaxation and opulence, the QT hotel in Surfers Paradise is an absolute dream come true.

10/10 hotel. Been there 4 times the last year and will continue going every time I’m in the Gold Coast. Very fancy rooms for a very good price! Great views from any room you book. There is a gym and day spa and also a pool. Parking is underground and safe. Valet parking also available.

Great hotel, we have stayed here before and decided to come back again and it did not disappoint! The location is amazing, close to public transport and the main area of Surfers Paradise. The food was delicious, especially the tacos! The room was super comfy and luxe, and we really enjoyed the Dyson hairdryer and Kevin Murphy toiletries. Would definitely recommend!

Great place to stay and very nice rooms. A moderately sized pool with a bar that’s easy to get too. We did get “upgraded” to an ocean view high floor room, and it really was a great view. My issues were that there were lots of kids at the pool and the parents nor the QT staff were really paying attention to how much of an annoyance they were making for everyone else at the pool. The morning of our departure we left for a quick adventure in the morning and were locked out of our rooms when we returned at 10:30a with a 11a checkout. Had to go wait in line behind everyone checking out for 20mins before they could reset our room keys to let us back into our room to grab our stuff. Then our experience with the bar staff was mediocre at both the Stingray bar and the Pool bar. Stingray bar was quick to get us a drink but took nearly an hour for our snacks to come out of the kitchen. The bartender that took care of us apologized and got us some fries as a courtesy, but our food order was cold. Again, no fault of the bar staff but it did take nearly 45m for them to notice we didn’t have our food after asking them 15m after we ordered if we should expect a longer wait. Pool bar was not very busy, but took nearly 15 minutes of standing at the “order here” spot to get an acknowledgment that they’d be with me shortly. When I mentioned that the kids were making a mess for patrons they told me to take it up with their parents or go to the front desk.

Left a jacket behind accidentally in one of the cabins, and they made sure to retrieve and hold it safely for me to arrange pick up! The stay was wonderful. The small independent cabins are perfect for romantic getaway, and they have two great restaurants and bars to enjoy yourself at. And I'm sure there is so much more offered that I didn't have a chance to experience!

Not a bad stay but not the best considering it’s a 5 star hotel. Almost impossible to find a chair to sit by the pool. Only about 20 free chairs to use for all guest, and had to pay $75 dollars to reserve the cabana’s. in house cleaning was sub par, only had the bed made and towels changed each day, floors and bathrooms not cleaned and tissues were not restocked when ran out. But really like the hair care and amenities provided. A bit annoying when staff would knock once then enter the room late at night to check the minibar, thought that was a bit unusual and uncomfortable when the do not disturb sign was left on the door. Had to pay $30 a day for parking, which is ridiculous considering most hotels have free parking for guests. The breakfast buffet was lovely, and high quality food however seating is only an hour. Staff were lovely and helpful whenever something was needed. Overall disappointed in my stay for a 5 star hotel.

Such a funky hotel just north of the hustle and bustle of Surfers Paradise. This hotel is full of amenities, restaurants, bars, cafes. There is a function centre here too. Parking available for $20 per day. Rooms very quiet. Bed was soft and super comfortable. Bathrooms are quite large.

  • 5/5 Adrian K. 1 year ago on Google
A couple minutes walk from the beach, 10 minute walk from the centre of surfers. The reception area had a pleasant smell to it. Delicious breakfast buffet. The staff were able to cater to all of our needs. The room was a comfortable size and had great connectivity and TV. The pool was great, the bar had a great vibe and the joining Japanese restaurant was amazing. The music was also great. The only things I would ask for are for the rooms to have a bath, and gym facilities. Would definitely love to come back. Also, the nose from the balcony when it was open was a bit annoying, maybe an AC unit or some sort of fan.

WOW! What an amazing Hotel! The rooms are very spacious & modern (we had a renovated room), the pool area was amazing, plenty of room although could do with a few more deck chairs. We were a little disappointed that the spa was not in operation (not warm). The staff throughout our entire stay were very accommodating and willing to do more than we expected. Will definitely be back.

The best of the best of the best. Not just one person, but everyone. They are the absolute Emirates of hotels. There isn't even enough room here to describe how they have a completely seamless operation, no matter what. Nothing is too much trouble and everything has an obviously clear line of operation. Amazing. From start to finish. I'm shocked in a good way. Please pass on how amazing this place is. It was my first time there and it is absolute gold standard. I don't often do Google reviews, but this needs one. Highly recommend.

Good food at the pool bar (reasonable price and good serves) as well as several other quality food an drink options. Very accomodating and friendly staff. Loved the environmentally green room option. Only issue was having 4 ridiculously large pillows rather than maybe a couple of normal ones instead of as well. Easy fix on day 2 but didn’t sleep much on the first night as a result of this. Will definitely go back and recommend.

My daughter and I stayed here for 3 nights and had a truly relaxing experience. Staff are friendly and accommodating and look happy to be working here. We even chatted to the maintenance guy who said the hotel was a great place to work which showed in the customer service provided. Bazaar restaurant breakfast was fantastic and if you are a lover of seafood then the buffet dinner is superb. Morning coffee at Fixx is a must for any coffee lover. Bar staff were great too. Room was spotless and reception staff were very active on any request made. 5 minute walk to the beach and around 10 minutes walk from Cavil Mall. The kind of hotel that you really don't need to leave as there's plenty to do on site. We will definitely be back 😊

This is my second stay here. The first time I extended my stay. From the moment you walk in you feel welcome. The concierge are always friendly and helpful. The rooms have been updated and refurbished since I was last here. The city view is great, but the ocean view is amazing. Seeing the sunrise from your room/balcony. The day spa is a real treat. The buffet breakfast has so much variety. You won’t need to eat again for the rest of the day. But if you do find yourself hungry later, you can have lunch by the pool bar. There are a couple of in-house restaurants to choose from the Japanese restaurant is a real treat. You can spend a few hours in the pool snd heated spa, which changes colour in the evening. Only a 10 min walk to the heart of Surfers Paradise. The QT has everything you need for the perfect holiday.

The best buffet breakfast I have ever been too! My partner and I recently went to QT’s buffet breakfast and we couldn’t have been more impressed. The food was amazing and the staff were extremely friendly and approachable. We were greeted by Luke who was immediately warm and welcoming. He answered any questions we had and guided us to our table making us feel comfortable. The coffees were excellent, and where do I even start with the food. The buffet breakfast hosted a wide variety of savoury goods, make your own omelette station, fresh fruits and juices, pastries and muffins and an array of sweet breakfast alternatives too. The eggs were poached perfectly, bacon cooked to perfection, fruit was super fresh and crisp, almond croissants were exquisite, and Bircher muesli was delicious. Our plates were cleared often by the friendly staff and no questions were to much of a hassle for them. Great location - we had water views from our table and the sunlight flooding inside. Can’t recommend this buffet breakfast enough. My partner and I will definitely be returning for the amazing food, views and friendly staff in particular Luke!!!

Brilliant wedding venue. Ellie the wedding planner was second to none; nothing was an issue and if and when there was one, she had it covered like it never happened. The fact guests can all stay onsite and enjoy the reception is brilliant and the setting both outside for the ceremony and the sunset room were great. All the staff smiled and just enjoyed the evening as well. I can't wait to come back for the next wedding

We had the most incredible time at QT. The hotel and rooms were beautiful, but the service was outstanding. We asked for an early check-in and got a call the morning of our stay to come anytime. I know this isn't always possible, but the fact the room was free and they went out of our way to let us know we could check in early was so thoughtful. I asked for a few recommendations for places nearby and received great responses via email (before we'd even checked-in). Once we did check in, and they found out my partner and I had just gotten engaged, a beautiful cheeseboard, wine and very thoughtful and personal card turned up at our room. We've stayed in many hotels over the world, including 5 star, but this is the best service we've ever received. A huge thank you to Claudia in particular, you are a gem! We can't wait to come back soon.

Would not stay here for a luxury weekend, better for a weekend with friends. -Paid for an ocean view and were given a room above the hotel exhaust fans despite also telling staff it was our honeymoon, could barely see the beach, asked to switch rooms and staff were not very friendly, only moved us a few floors up. -Paid 40 for the breakfast buffet, other guests paid 25 for some reason, so do your research if you are going to go- it was delicious but not worth the money, barista coffee was additional charge despite already paying a high price. - They rent out the area next to the pool for functions so it felt like we were in a club on Saturday afternoon when we tried to relax there. There is a lot of noise in the room from restaurants/bars on the weekend. Would be nice for groups looking to have a good time, go somewhere else if you want a romantic weekend.

Loved this hotel. Well appointed and large room with comfortable bed and nice ocean views. The food at the breakfast and evening buffet was sensational! Beautifully freshly made pastries at breakfast are a highlight. The pool area is beautiful and lovely for a refreshing dip.

I love the QT hotels because there is always something unique about them. This was a fantastic pool, and the poolside bar staff did a great Bloody Mary! I loved that the room had my favourite Missoni robes and gorgeous Kevin Murphy products. The overnight parking was also very affordable. Thanks so much for a lovely stay, QT. I wish we could have stayed more nights.

So impressed! From the minute we arrived, every team member we have encountered has been so friendly and helpful. The hotel is awesome! Our bed is so comfy I am planning on buying one of our own when we return home. Great amenities, great view, excellent breakfast. Couldn’t want more!

Fantastic place to spend a couple of days but really, we would have loved a week there! Great staff and amazing decor throughout the property including rooms. Bed was super comfy and the staff surprised me with a bottle of wine and card for my Birthday. Walk 3 min to swim in the patrolled beach. We will be back for sure.

We would give 10 stars if I could. We went on a girls trip and everything from check in to check out was so incredible. We sat by the pool for 2 of our days- stay and we have to give a big shout out to Brock, Tyson, Tali and Kerry, the most beautiful staff where nothing was ever to much trouble. The staff honestly made our stay to be honest... The QT have great restaurants, pool and the best buffet breakfast and also a big shout out to Sarah as well who looking after us as well. We loved the whole QT experience. We definitely will be back again.

Positives: Good location, nice buffet breakfast food, nice toiletries, amenities and mini bar. Comfy bed and room. Staff were friendly and tried to make you feel welcome. Negatives: Shower pressure/temp were really bad. Pool area simply too small for a 5 star hotel and spa not working. Buffet breakfast doesn’t include proper coffee. Spa and restaurants had no capacity for last minute dining or pampering. Book ahead. Also, who charges a $300 bond these days? I travel a lot and most places just take a smaller hold and charge you only if needed. Overall enjoyed the visit but it’s definitely not a five star hotel.

I came here for a business trip and my experience was beyond wonderful. Firstly the staff are next level helpful, friendly, caring and generous in their approach to a grade service. Friendliness goes a long way nowadays and you guys nailed it. The rooms are well appointed with generous sized beds, room for luggage, bathroom fresh and clean and a cute balcony to take up the views. Checkout at 11 is so nice. I love the QT brand and will enjoy many more stays in the future. Well done guys 👏👏👏
