No idea how this is rated 4.2 stars on Google. We arrived too a smelly musty room that could not sleep 5 although they claimed it could. The bathroom had a broken exhaust fan so all the smells travelled through the room. The room was dusty and dirty. You could hear everything around you even the people snoring next door. When we asked to pay to move they advised no other rooms are available so we checked out. We booked for 5 days and managed 1 night. We spoke to reception and no cares given. I do not recommend staying here. The food also at the lobby is disgusting and not worth the money. The massage was good and I recommend getting one. Had such a better holiday as soon as we moved to a different hotel.

This is a family hotel, so if you know what that really means, and, you are bringing the family, then you will have a great time. Easy access to Sea World Park which is great for the family and it's also not too far from Surfers or the other fun parks. The food and service is decent enough and reasonably priced. We had a great time with 2 adults and 2 kids - 13 & 3.

The resort offers a range of accommodation options including family rooms, suites, and apartments, catering to a variety of guests' needs. The rooms are well-appointed and include amenities such as air conditioning, cable TV, and mini-fridges. Some of the suites and apartments even offer stunning views of the theme park and surrounding waterways. The resort offers a wide range of activities and facilities for guests to enjoy, including a lagoon-style swimming pool, an outdoor spa, tennis courts, and a gymnasium. There are also several dining options available, including a buffet restaurant, a seafood restaurant, and a cafe. Overall, the resort has a lot to offer including a safe environment and a nice view.

Loved our first stay at this resort. We received a room upgrade which exceeded our expectations. The room was so comfortable, quiet, with great concierge service. As someone with mobility issues I'd love the monorail to return, or some kind of buggy/train transport through the park as it's a long way to walk. The buffet breakfast line up was huge, but thankfully it moved quickly. Staff were so lovely & helpful. We will definitely return to stay again.

Such an amazing resort for a family holiday. Sea World was our favourite park to go to on the Gold Coast, so this was the perfect place for our family to stay. The location made it very easy to go to Sea World numerous times (great for short ride lines early in the morning) and fantastic for the Halloween Spooky Nights (absolutely amazing event, felt like we were trick or treating overseas). The Dolphin Discovery Presentation was absolutely fantastic. It was very descriptive on how well the dolphins are cared for, which was extremely important to us as we wouldn't want to support a business that didn't respect the animals. All communication with Sea World Resort Staff was very helpful, friendly and professional. The buffet dinner at Shoreline Restaurant, with live entertainment, was fantastic. We really enjoyed pizza from Melrose Italian, which we brought back to the room. Waterfall Cafe was great for afternoon drinks, food and snacks. My 7 year old loved the water park, the nightly light show and pool (varied depths). The resort is about 10 minutes drive to Surfers Paradise and under 30 minute drive to Movie World etc. Across Seaworld Drive there is a short walkway to a beach where you can see Surfers Paradise, the beach is not suitable for swimming but it is great for a walk. We can't wait to get back to Queensland and would definitely stay at Sea World Resort again. Thank you!

Very busy resort but great for families, great food options. Breakfast is always hectic, they should look at spreading it out more so more space for people to move around, pancake stand always busy and machines always requiring attention maybe add a few more? The rides look good but queues for rides take a while and 30% of the rides aren't working currently. However the dolphin show was excellent and the stingrays section was good too.

We have two young kids so staying here is great from a facilities point of view and the all day in and out access to Sea World. But… I don’t thinks it’s worth the price, the rooms are dated, and ours, on the ground level of the bay wing faced the Volunteer Sea Rescue which has bright lights that shine out all night so you can’t leave your blinds open to let the fresh air in. The food is pretty average for the cost, the buffet was very budget and bland, it’s all for the kids really so don’t expect much. Really not worth the price, you are better off getting pasta and pizza from Melrose restaurant. Also, the cocktails are all made using premix and no fresh ingredients, a real disappointment and undrinkable, stick to the wine. The staff were great, it’s great for kids but it’s not 5 star. It’s like a huge 2-3 star motel with a great pool.

If you have kids, this is the place to stay. The. best pools and water parks I’ve ever stayed at. Kids literally played on it before breakfast and after dinner. The photo I took didn’t do it justice… Rooms were nicely presented and comfortable to rest and relax. Highly recommend the grill around the pool when it’s open!

Very Overpriced ($399 for 1 night) The place caters well for families, which means the main restaurant is extremely noisy. Some acoustic screening might help reduce the noise reverberations. I felt stressed eating in such a noisy setting. The food itself was pretty good, tasty fresh prawns and smoked salmon. Excellent variety on offer though I only had prawns salmon and salad. Breakfast - freshly made omelette was yummy and the bacon was tasty. The room/accommodation was basic (tiny, 2 double beds). Everything was clean, bed was comfortable and I had a great nights sleep. Staff friendly and attentive. However, on checkout I was not asked how our stay was - I think that’s a basic hospitality question to ask customers. Main issue was the price we paid, it’s about double what it should be. (We stayed on 25th November, 2022)

Our room was neat and clean, spacious for a family of five. I honestly had the best sleep. Anybody know what type of mattresses they use? It was like sleeping on a cloud. The resort pool was under maintenance but they generously gave us breakfast on the house for our stay. Great family resort where adults can relax while children have a blast. The restaurants in the resort are an absolute treat. We loved Shoreline buffet dinners and breakfast.

It’s not 5 star but it’s pretty good for what it is. We stayed in a premium queen and although dated was very comfortable. Rooms are serviced daily (to our surprise) woman who cleaned 1003 was absolutely pleasant. Staff were friendly, if you go the breakfast each morning that’s brilliant, so much to choose from. Grounds are beautiful and amazingly kept. Pool is beautiful, waterpark is a hit, 2 added things would be more spas and way way more shade because the sun is ridiculously searing hot. The deal we got included the theme park tickets which was amazing. Daily character visits & dolphin presentations included In your stay. 1 definite recommendation would be to have some different washing detergents available for sale because the ones available aren’t great. Oh and not an overly huge amount of car spaces available. Otherwise so happy.

The hotel is really good if you get one of the deluxe rooms not the resort room. The manager was so helpful and professional and doing his best so we can enjoy our stay. The kids loved the water slides and the pool. The new year night and the fireworks was so good. We didn’t need to leave the hotel to see it in surfers paradise.

We have stayed here in 2019 and this last week of Jan 2022. As always the staff are amazing, helpful and courteous. The food was great everywhere except the Japanese restaurant. The shoreline restaurant was the best and prices were awesome. The pool area is great for adult and kids of all ages. Our only issue was the breakfast as everyone had to line up for pancake making machines. Perhaps SeaWorld Resort could do a bulk of pancakes just like bacon and scrambled eggs. All 3 machines were slow and sadly adults were always cutting in front of kids. Really not fair. Today (Sunday 30.01.2022) a tall young woman in a yellow dress just cut in and when she was told to get back in line she swore and kept staring down the little kids. I hope she and her rude family are reading this ( they were sitting at table 51). Also to all the other adults that had been cutting in line, get a grip and improve your behaviour for your next visit. Despite this we will definitely stay again but without the breakfast package. 8/10 guys. We’ll done on everything else :)))

Went for a 1 day work conference in the resort, not the conference centre , and the venue was perfect. No technically issues, food was on time, tables were refreshed promptly, and the lunch option at the Shoreline Restaurant were suited to carnivores. Curry’s, salads fruits and dessert however there was no vegan curry which was a let down for a few of my colleagues. Overall presentation of the breakout space, conference room, lobby and toilets couldn’t be faulted with attentive staff assigned throughout the day. Our group was approx 60 with the round table set up.

Took the family on a mini vacation. Rooms were clean and adequate. Beds are super comfy. Came with a bar fridge, tea, coffee and kettle. Plenty of onsight food options, and if you don't like the choices, other eating options are close by. The concierge staff are very helpful. Gardens are pretty, and well maintained.

Sorry no photos of the actual resort. 2 adults 4 teenagers. highly recommended! Lovely clean rooms. Comfy beds! Direct access to sea world via their shop. When you book the package including theme parks it includes Unlimited access to sea world, movie world and white water world until 5pm on your check out day. You can also book with buffet breakfast which was pretty yummy also. Very busy. Dinner at resort was fast service and yummy delicious food (pizza and pasta dishes so good!!!). Definitely be back.

Great experience! Staff were very accommodating to our requests. I am sure our guests loved our stay at the place. If only Sea World can have enough parking spaces for its guests it will be the best location if not perfect!

The resort was absolutely amazing! The staff was friendly and attentive, making our stay memorable. The rooms were clean, spacious, and had breathtaking views. The on-site amenities like the pool and spa were top-notch, offering relaxation and fun. The Resort's Location was perfect, Close to the Beach and Other Attractions. The Food at the Restaurant was delipious, with a wide variety of options. Would Highly Recommend It to Anyone Looking for a Fantastic Vacation Experience. Can 't wait to visit again! Thankful for duty manager's birthday surprise!

Not impressed and disappointed. They had conferences there that made it not a family holiday. Very disappointed with the food at the shoreline as things have changed and not worth the money I payed for and not a big selection as in the past. Staff were not helpful. On one occasion Leaving our room unlocked and door open after cleaning was done. It didn’t feel like it was for kids as they had conferences on . It was very noisy. I had asked what the upgrade was that we paid for and they even couldn’t answer that. We sat down and had dinner and straight after we finished at 8pm they wanted us to add the bill to the room and not pay by card. Another issue is they don’t accept cash. Only card . Very disappointed unfortunately . Not family friendly at all. The last three visits here were amazing but I suppose COVID changes things. Won’t be back here again. The only thing that we got value for was the theme parks . I must say SeaWorld and movie world was amazing .

My second time staying at the resort and I still think it's such a perfect place for a family. Rooms were clean and spacious. Lovely hotel staff and breakfast included was really good too.

Great place for a family stay and especially for the kids. In my opinion it’s missing the wow factor for the parents though. I didn’t experience anything unpleasant or off putting but equally, beside my kids being occupied and enjoying themselves (which can’t be understated) there was no wow factor for me. Great location on the GC just a short drive from everything.

Amazing location of the hotel with big rooms and lots of space. My room had an amazing view of the forest and trees as well, but u can't promise if that will be the case for ( however most rooms do have a good view ). The bundle I took with 3 theme parks and a night at the hotel was worth it. The only bad thing is that the room service is busy and doesn't answer the call.

  • 5/5 Cassie B. 5 months ago on Google
The rooms are quite old (well the ones we stayed in). But in all honesty, that didn't matter as we were barely there. We made the most of the unlimited entry into the theme parks with our holiday package. It is so brilliant having Seaworld next door. Being able to enter the park through the resort is brilliant. We went back most days (the kids did) to ride the rides! The pool is huge and the food and beverages are fabulous. We often chose to eat at the resort rather than venturing out. We will absolutely be back. Very affordable and the service was fantastic.

Staying in the presidential suit was everything we expected. The staff were nothing but fantastic, helpful and polite. In house food was lovely. For a family resort, the children were very well behaved. If you are after the buffet breakfast, i suggested that you get up early or you'll be in the line for a wait. Wonderful experience, we will be back again soon. Thank you Sea World for an amazing experience 👌

Excellent family holiday. Great location. Unlimited access to seaworld can’t fault. character meet and greet every morning kids LOVED this. Pool area plenty of room for everyone and plenty of seating. Rooms beds and pillows so comfortable. A busy but relaxing holiday A must family holiday

Overall experience was good, the room was acceptable, however the bathroom is old and extremely small, especially the shower, which was challenging for an average size person to use. No doubt the room rates reflects the location rather than the quality of the room. Would not recommend staying at the resort purely based on the room/bathroom.

I stayed there last year. The staff were really friendly towards everyone! Honestly better then paradise resort but is still good! 10\10 resort definitely should stay. The main issue is only the prices my family spent a lot of money when we went to the Gold Coast! As I’m a coaster enthusiast this resort is good for surfers paradise the best I have been too! The future looks bright for the park and resort!

Great for families to stay, and has walk through access to SeaWorld. Pool is average, but great for kids. Highly recommend the buffet breakfast and dinner. Rooms were clean. Not enough parking spaces for guests however, not enough suntanning beds for pool either. Beds were okay. Would stay again.

Great place to stay for families. Kids everywhere. We travelled as a couple with no kids, felt a bit awkward at the start as everyone there had kids, but didn't matter in the end. Great value if wanting to go to the Worlds. We enjoyed the Dolphin Experience (only for people staying at the Resort). Great access to Sea World. Car parking can be an issue if the Resort is full. We were directed to park in the staff parking, which was great as it was closer to our room.

Stayed here for a conference. Was in a room on the 3rd level. Very clean and spacious. As its a family resort for access to Sea World expect kids to be there. Not a great place if looking for peace and quiet... kids make noise. However that being said a great place to visit for families and for a conference. Staff very helpful. I'll be back. Bed was comfortable too

Lovely day out with the family. Even our 4 year old felt included on almost all the activities! The Dolphin show was spectacular & the Nickelodeon play area was Great fun! Easy access to food & snacks, and great rides for all. Can't wait to visit again!

Beautiful resort with friendly staff. Rooms are clean and smell amazing. Pool and children's play are a huge plus. Plenty of places to eat and relax. My only disappointment was that the outdoor bar and grill was closed. There is a shuttle service that will drop you off and pick you up from Movie world, wet and wild, Harbor Town and a few other places for $20 per person return which was great for us.

We had such a perfect family holiday there. Can't get any better than that with all the kids-friendly facilities and enough chairs around the pool for parents to sit around and enjoy! Hotel room was spotless and it was so lovely that the lady came and made the bed for us, gave us fresh towels and took the rubbish on the 2nd day. We paid more for a hotel in the Surfers paradise but facility and service was nowhere near what we had at Sea world resort. Should have stayed longer!!

  • 4/5 Bec S. 1 year ago on Google
We had a great stay while we were there. The place would have been close to capacity though so parking was difficult to find, we couldn't eat in any of the restaurants because they were always fully booked. Our room was a good size, the pool was great for the kids. They could do with more places to hang towels in the room though - we had 4 people stay and had both bath and beach towels draped over things as there was no where to hang them

Reception staff were great and the room was very comfortable, great bed and pillows. The buffet breakfast was very disappointing. The hot food was cold and the coffee in the machine was cold and bitter. Thankfully a lovely man who I think was the manager came to My rescue with a very nice hot coffee. After Paying over $60 for breakfast for two I was very disappointed that if you want a decent coffee you have to pay extra. I will come back again for sure but will have breakfast in the cafe and not in the bistro next time.

Stayed there with the family outside of school holidays the service from all staff was awesome everyone was very helpful. Rooms were clean and big enough. Decor could do with an update. Water Park was clean and fun. Price was reasonable for food, drinks and accommodation. Tried to get a booking into the Japanese restaurant but no luck. Found another close by which was great.

Best family holiday ever! We had the ultimate theme park package and was full of amazing inclusions that just kept on giving. The resort facilities were amazing, an absolute kids paradise, the staff were all so friendly and helpful and went above and beyond always. Buffet breaky was a hit with the kids each morning. Kids lived in the pool right up until bedtime. Parents loved being able to order drinks and dinner poolside and run out the kids energy. Special dolphin talk in the morning at Sea World for the kids was amazing, so personal for the guests and a great free added experience. We ended our stay at another local resort with nothing but disappointment. We wish we stayed with sea world and our whole family is already counting down until we can get back to stay again. Thank you to all the amazing staff who have made our stay so amazing.

A good hotel which is conveniently located. The sea world theme park can literally be walked down within 2-3 minutes and other attractions in Gold Coast and not far away. Breakfast is decent but limited options for vegetarians which is to be expected.

My family and I, had a great experience at SeaWorld Resort. The room are clean and spacious, beds are comfy. We had the buffet for dinner, delicious various foods to be had. We went out for the whole day and came back to freshly made beds and clean linens. I was surprised as I didn't know they did that. But it was nice. Would definitely recommend family, couples, friends to try the resort. You won't be disappointed! Customer service is 10/10!

We had a great stay at Sea World Resort! Lovely grounds, really relaxing. The buffet dinner is well worth doing, even if only once. The food was great and included adult drinks as well (which was of decent quality). Nice to access Sea World via the resort guest entry as well. Pool & pool bar areas are great and a nice way for adults to relax while kids play.

A must visit - a 2-day stay with 3 day (both check-in and check-out days are covered) park pass for all 4 parks is an absolute steal. Really nice and comfy rooms, exclusive large water play area for resort guests, kids room and awesome sea views are absolutely worth it. The staff was lovely and went to great lengths to make our stay comfy and memorable incl complimentary sparkling wine and cheese board for a bday celebration.

  • 5/5 Melanie G. 10 months ago on Google
Another amazing stay at Seaworld. The rooms are so comfortable great to have access to the room after a long day of rides. The service from the staff is fantastic they are all so friendly and go above and beyond to make the kids feel special. Chey in the restaurant in the morning at breakfast was a delight chatting to the kids and looking after us and Suzanne the manager was fantastic to make sure we had a great stay. They make you feel like VIP and we will definitely be back again to enjoy this beautiful place.

Gorgeous resort immaculately clean tidy. Staff helpful and friendly. Food menu could be better quality. Need more healthy and better quality options especially for adults. A communal microwave area would be good for reheating food as none in rooms. Excellent easy parking. Theme park is amazing kids loved it. Will be back in near future.

Loved every minute of it. Service was outstanding from the moment we checked in at reception. Buffet breakfast was yummy, though massive line up wait if you don't get there 630am. Kids had a ball. Even lucky enough to get a room upgrade. Thankyou Seaworld Resort. Can't wait to come back.

Great place to stay with the kids. With the heated pool, kids can enjoy the pool. Good lighting and firepit in the outdoor garden in the evening was a great bonus. Great proximity to Sea World and all its wonderful facilities with easy access from the resort to guests.

This hotel is good if you have young kids, as there is a play ground, pool and game room. In the package, we got theme park unlimited entry which was a bonus, sadly that is the one of the only good thing about this place, also the food is really good. As i’m an older teen, it can get a bit boring here, as it mainly caterers for younger children. That is fine but the thing that annoys me is the rooms, they’re not sound proof and at early hours of the morning you hear kids screaming and running (this happened to me at 4:45am), and people showering 24/7, not to mention when you’re trying to sleep and you can’t because the people in the next room are snoring their head off. They do have really good service with the concierge taking in your bags, the cleaning staff do a wonderful job whenever you want your room cleaned. Parking may be hard to find if you don’t get in early enough, overall i’d give it a 3 star.
