To say I am disappointed is an understatement. First of all, they incorrectly gave us an accessible/disabled room - the bathroom reminded me of a hospital’s bathroom. The shower curtain was disgusting, I got goosebumps just writing this. Then they moved us to a new room with a nicer looking bathroom - the room was alright. But definitely NOT WORTH the $600 rate per night. Woke up at 3 in the morning feeling very itchy and hot (the AC wasn’t working properly even though it said 20°C). Secondly, I can’t believe there was no bottled water in the room? Is that the standard of a five star hotel? When asked, reception advised us that they were not allowed to give out bottled water. I’ve stayed in 3-star and 4-star hotels before with cheaper prices but I’ve never been so disgusted by a hotel room. Honestly, those hotels with much lower ratings have exceeded this hotel in almost every category. The only nice thing about this hotel is the staff at the reception, thanks for being nice and helpful. Please DO NOT stay in this hotel. EVER. Unless you want to experience that itchy sensation in the middle of the night :)

Where do so start. The Hilton is referred to as 5 star luxury but from our experience it was not 5 star at all. On the day of arrival I rang the hotel to ask if any chance we could check in early which the gentlemen said to come down around 12pm so we did only to find out the room was not ready and probably won’t be for a while. We walked around Surfers for close to 3 hours while waiting to head back in around 3pm check in time to be told that the room was still not ready. After waiting a little longer we finally got our room and headed up to enter and find a cleaner still in the room. The place was not fully clean and the tables had spills on it and stuff left in fridge. If this apartment is meant to be 5 star then the villa I stayed at in a caravan park last week was 10 star. We paid a lot of money to stay the two nights which we never usually do and wanted to treat our family to something special. The room was dirty, there were marks on the roof and walls that had been touched up roughly, the furniture was Amart furniture, broken kick board in the kitchen, king bed was two beds pushed together. No blanket on main bed and the two singles had a quilt under the sheet that did not even have a quilt cover. We booked for 6 however the room was not made up for 6 and had to request more blankets and pillows. The sofa bed was terrible so thin and was hallow in the middle that you rolled into the middle when sleeping on it. Also when we booked there was no notification we would be charged for the sofa bed even when we booked for 6 people and we were advised a few days out there would be an extra charge which I refused to pay as that was not noted anywhere on the booking. Be aware of this extra charge. The water pressure in the shower was terrible. The cooking facilities were minimal especially for a two bedroom apartment (no chopping board). We went around the pool area to have a nice sit around to find that the lounges and pillows were all dirty and stained. They had so many stains on them it was disgusting. I took photos it was that bad. Definitely would not lie down on them. I know it is winter but the bar around the pool was closed and all locked up so even if you just wanted a nice place to chill and read a book you could not get a drink. Felt very isolated that area. The location is great. The service was good at main desk and at the catch restaurant but I would never call this a 5 star hotel without some serious upgrades. Reading past reviews I can see many people have had similar experiences. I have never done a review before but I was so disappointed at this experience of what we paid for and what we got. Not 5 star at all.

Absolutely disgusted with everything. Where do i even begin First of all, it took them more than 20 minutes to check us in. Then we go up to the room and the layout and the view is NOTHING like the pictures we booked. We booked for 6 people, the room was equipped for 4. Missing towels, blankets and pillows. Their “sofa bed” that was designed to sleep 2 people had a massive hollow mattress so whoever slept on it would roll to the centre!!!!! There were no chopping boards, no tea towels to dry the hand no toilet brush The furniture is outdated and the room felt like an age care facility!!! The jacuzzi and sauna area were dirty, it did the look like there were any shower areas near the pool. Their towel station is all way INSIDE their building (super inconvenient). We paid almost $1400 for 2 nights. What an absolute joke this place is. I will never be coming back here and will definitely not recommend you to anyone else. WAY over priced for an aged care facility 😒 Absolutely horrible

We (5 people) stayed in a 2 bedroom residence with ocean view. The views were absolutely great. The residence was clean and and tidy. Sofa bed was already set up prior to arrival. All the dishes were clean, high quality dishwasher. The windows were clean, so all the view was clear. My husband went to get bath robes from the front reception as we (rest of the family) were already in the pool. He waited at the reception for 30 minutes only to come back empty handed, they kept on saying its coming, its coming and it never came. We called and requested for milk around 9-9:30 in the morning. Waiting for some time and changed our mind about tea and then left the hotel about an hour later to go out. The milk never came in that 1-1.5 hrs. When we complaint about this at check out, we were simply offered a days worth of free parking.

My partner and I stayed here for 7 days and it was amazing! The room was beautiful and very well appointed, it had everything we needed and the bed was the comfiest hotel bed we have ever slept in. They also had a bottle of wine and a cheese platter for our arrival! For the duration of our stay our room also included breakfast at the Catch restaurant on level 1. The buffet here was delicious, sooo many choices and everything was fresh and hot each day. The service definitely felt 5 star. I was in touch with reception staff throughout our stay via text which was so convenient and easier than a phone call. Anything I needed or asked for was sent up almost immediately. We did have our room serviced twice during our stay which was lovely and the chocolates left on the bed were a nice touch. Hotel is extremely close to everything right in the heart of surfers paradise and the nightlight was very lively on the weekend. My only fault would be the hotel pool, unfortunately during winter the outdoor pools are just too cold to use so we did try to use the indoor pool and spa as much as possible, but it was always full of children jumping in and out of the spa and sauna so we were unable to really relax in there. This hotel was definitely 5 star in our opinion. We will be returning!

The two-bedroom sky-high residence that we chose was even better than we expected. It offered an amazing ocean view and was both beautiful and clean. The location was great, as we could easily access different places on foot or by taking trams. However, what truly made our stay special at this hotel was the friendly staff, especially Mobina from front desk. She was always welcoming and approachable, with a nice smile on her face. She helped us from the moment we arrived until we left. Thanks to her, we had an amazing experience at Hilton Surfers Paradise.

I recently booked a stay at the Hilton in Surfers Paradise for 5 nights for 5 guests. Upon arrival and settling into our room, I was disappointed to discover that despite having paid for accommodations for 5 people, only 2 of the 3 available beds were made up. When I inquired about using the third bed, I was informed that there would be an additional charge of $45/night just for a set of sheets. This was unexpected and quite frustrating, especially considering we had already paid for 5 guests. I expected a smoother experience from a reputable establishment like Hilton.

While the staff are respectful and other facilities open to the public are well managed, within the rooms they fail to provide clean blankets. In my first stay at Hilton Hotel, I am horrified to see multiple unidentified stains on my blanket. Overall, great food, below average gym, great pool but poor bedroom cleanliness with blankets and bed sheets.

The Hilton Surfers Paradise offers an exceptional stay that seamlessly combines luxury and convenience. The location, right in the heart of Surfers Paradise, provides breathtaking views of the ocean and cityscape. The rooms are spacious and elegantly designed, ensuring a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring. The staff's attentiveness and professionalism enhance the overall experience, from check-in to dining recommendations. The hotel's amenities, including the pool and fitness facilities, are top-notch, catering to both relaxation and wellness needs. With a variety of dining options on-site, including an impressive breakfast spread, the culinary experience is equally impressive. Hilton Surfers Paradise is a haven of comfort and sophistication, setting a new standard for memorable getaways.

Hilton was recommended as a one of the best hotel in Gold coast, but it was not up to standards because my room which was booked on 7/6/23 not cleaned properly, an empty alcohol bottle was left in 602, later which was removed by staff after requesting twice. Furthermore, we have requested an extra bed on morning but it was arranged by night after requesting more than 4 times, instead of enjoying my vacation I just had to walk from room to concierge to resolve this issues, but very lame responses was given by staffs. Towels was not clean it had some long hairs. Moreover, I have stayed in a several 5 star hotels no where they have requested an deposit. I have paid 200$ deposit for 2 rooms which they said will be returned on the time of checkout, but they have charged additional 100$ after the checkout, till now there is not any clear explanation and I was told in phone 300$ will be refunded but still not resolved, terrible experience.

Disappointing. Staff friendly however in my view lacking experience to provide the level of service that should come with a five star hotel. Restaurant was more like a cafe, order and pay at the counter and food just dropped off - zero service. Good food, however for the $ and this being a Hilton it’s sadly lacking. Room - street noise was enough to stop us sleeping, and if it wasn’t, then the faulty air conditioning clicking loudly at least once per hr made sure we didn’t.. (level 9) After advising the desk the next day i expected to be offered a room change and some level of apology rather than being advised that “I was in luck” someone had cancelled and we could move ourselves to that room if we wanted. I suggested maybe a drink at the executive bar may be reasonable compensation and was advised that it was full. The Point being totally missed… Unlikely I’ll be back unless they double glaze or a guarantee of a room high enough to escape the noise. Try calling reception and you get a message like calling externally, put on hold with messages advertising services that are not available - eg the other restaurant. Far from a professional guest service. Asked the concierge for a silver service restaurant recommendation and was emailed a large list of mostly pubs. Generally at hotels at this level I pull up and someone takes my bags - don’t expect that here if you do choose to stay. Kind of picky, but I also expect the wine glasses in the room to be the same, rather random different sizes - would expect good room service staff to notice and fix things like this, as well as the chewing gum left on the balcony by the previous occupants that remained there throughout our stay.

We just spent the weekend here for our anniversary and we were more than impressed. The room was great but the service is what made the stay amazing, so efficient and friendly and were always happy to fulfil any request. The staff in the executive lounge were so attentive and always offering their cocktail of the day 😊 and the canapes were beautiful. The buffet breakfast, although very busy, the food was always being replenished and nothing seemed to ever run out. The options were extensive and the food was delicious. Thanks again to the entire service team at Hilton Surfers Paradise for an excellent and memorable weekend.

My wife and I travelled with our 2 little ones (both <4) and my parents. We had such a good experience. The team were very helpful and responsive to all our needs. The location of the hotel is perfect walking distance to all the key attractions. Will consider a revisit.

View was brilliant! The moment you walked inside you were treated with a cold iced tea. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. The hotel was in the centre of the city so everything you wanted was there. However the room was not up to expectations. check in was delayed 1 hour and while the room was large and comfortable unfortunately the beds were very unclean. Additionally one of the towels had a orange stain and one of the beds curved inward. However room service was extremely quick and affordable. The rooms are very family friendly however the fact that multiple rashes occurred at this price was quite disappointing. However we arrived at Christmas day and have been before and the quality was exceptional. Still worth going if you plan on going to the gold coast. My other times have also proved this is a one time exception. still an extremely high end hotel.

Stayed in a 2BR ocean view residence. Great room with an amazing view!! In unit washer and dryer was nice to have after several days of travel. Super close to the beach and tons of restaurants. Breakfast was outstanding and had a big spread of options to choose from. Mich and Mobina were great to interact with and had a professional upbeat attitude and truly made me feel welcome. Can’t say enough great things about these two. I am a diamond Hilton member and asked for late checkout and Dhaval would not give me that (not even 1 additional hour, checkout is at 11). Not too big of a complaint, but good for anyone staying to know. I would highly recommend staying here.

We arrived at the side entrance around 1:30pm. The door was not opening and there was no buzzer to press to request access. When we tried to get the attention of the three staff members at the desk doing nothing… they just stared at us and did not help. 5 star? Debatable. We ended up using the front entrance but why bother having signage stating that ‘this door is closed from 8pm-6am’ if it’s just never actually open? (Referring to the side door) Would highly recommend that they re-consider their lobby playlist, waiting in there for roughly 30 minutes it covered several different genres and was very annoying to listen to. Not the kind of ambiance that you expect in ‘luxury’ hotel. The location of the hotel and style of the lobby does make up for the shortcomings slightly but this wouldn’t be my first choice for accomodation in the future. The rooms are quite dated also. Edit in response to hotel: So we’re expected to just know that the door is for checked in guests? And that also justifies the way we were just stared at by the staff rather than greeted with a smile and a simple point towards the main entrance?

So far we've stayed 1 night out of three and the service has been outstanding. Throughout the day we were running late then early, then late. So I was messaging Chris and he was so patient with my requests, replied promptly and answered any other questions with detail and simplicity. Thank you 🙏 Checking in was so welcoming and professional thanks to the service with a smile from Saloni. Thank you 🙏 She clearly explained all the fees, facilities and extras we were entitled to making check in a delight. What a great way to start my annual leave. Our room was so so clean that you could smell it! Well stocked with all we needed and felt like a home away from home., not just a hotel room to sleep in. After checking in I went for a quick swim. Couldn't find the towels and asked one of the house keeping staff that was cleaning the pool area. He gladly showed me where they were, not just told me. Thank you 🙏 Returning to my room I remembered we needed extra sheets for the kids to use the sofa bed. Came across another house keeping team member who offered to deliver them to my room, but I was on my way so I was happy to take them. She gave me more than what I needed while asking was there anything else extra I would like. Thank you 🙏 Our first morning we chose to have the breakfast buffet upstairs. The professionalism of the team continued with a welcoming "good morning" from the staff at the front desk of The Catch restaurant. We were then politely taken to our table, the layout of the buffet explained and all other extra services. Ambience of the restaurant while having breakfast was so fitting. Warm and not too bright, easy to wake up to while eating breakfast. So many delicious, we'll prepared and elegantly presented choices and even though explained earlier, the layout of the buffet was easy to navigate through. We have 2 more nights left and I have in no doubt, the outstanding service will continue. A big shoutout to Lindee for messaging me to check up on how our stay was going... that was nice, very much appreciated and I say that with a big smile. First time ever a hotel I'm staying at has messaged to check up on me. And I've stayed at many hotels, with different rankings, plus worked at a few as a chef.... hence why this very detailed review. So to the incredible team at Hilton Hotel Surfers Paradise my family and I thank you, appreciate you, all your efforts and can't wait to stay again in the future. Till then, see shortly when we return for our remaining 2 nights 😊

Customer service was phenomenal. Was having trouble connecting my PlayStation 5 to the wifi. Had one of the staff come to my room and help me out. Was very friendly and did everything to help me. Front desk was very helpful for check in too. The rooms were nice and clean. Location is the best you can get here in Surfers. Definitely recommend staying at the Hilton when down at Surfers. It has everything you need around here too. Very convenient. A++

Loved our stay here! The pool is stunning and its so nice there is also an indoor pool too. The tiles are a little slippery though so had to take care while walking. The room was lovely, such nice views and a beautiful bathroom. Very happy that the rooms are soundproof too, the business below was not heard at all once that balcony door was closed. We cannot wait to come back!

Great location but rooms were bit outdated in my opinion and service was OK but not exclusive as what Hilton is famous for. Breakfast was good and I can recommend. Location is certainly highlight as walking distance to Surfers Paradise and all other amenities.

I've stayed at this Hilton @ Surfers several times over the years both for conferences and individual stays. The location is perfect and within walking distance of any requirements you'd have whether on business or pleasure. I don't think there's a single occasion where I'd fault the customer service from check-in to check-out and everything in between. As an extensive traveller, I highly recommend this venue whether you're looking for a business conference venue of choice, solo trip or family leisure.

  • 1/5 Neevin I. 7 months ago on Google
The location is surrounded by clubs and the noise of the cavil avenue which make it very hard to have a peaceful sleep at night. The buffet breakfast is below average and not a lot of variety, the restaurant is always packed and hardly find a table where you can have your meal peacefully. The facilities, swimming pool and spa are unhygienic.

We stayed in a 1 bedroom residence. All was great until cockroach in room. Hotel staff didn’t care. Unfortunately for a luxury hotel this is unacceptable. Service and food @ Mrs Margot on ground floor is the best thing about this hotel.

We stayed here for the airshow. Our balcony was facing to the ocean but we were just right behind the very tall building of soul peppers hotel otherwise it would’ve been the most Fantastic location and best view to the ocean! Will highly recommend to family &’friends and we definitely will come back here again!

We had the best stay at Hilton Surfers Paradise. The communication from the staff was absolutely brilliant and I loved the convenience of being able to send a text message to concierge. Definitely the best hotel I've ever been in, beautiful location, beds perfectly set with like the best mattresses ever, a nice reception and the best facilities provided. All that was lacking in the hotel was a tennis court but everything else was near if not perfect. Oh and the shampoo of hilton is always the best.

We visited Surfers Paradise to experience the holiday atmosphere at the Gold Coast. Fantastic location right on the action. We step out of the building and all the happening clubs and eating places were less than 50 m away. The apartment we hired was very comfortable, very neat and clean. It was fully appointed so we didn't lack for anything. Early morning one could breeze down and get ones coffee shot for the day within a few minutes. No need to make it yourself. Great place.

Thank you to the staff at the Hilton hotel for making our holiday very memorable and a enjoyable experience.. We really enjoyed the pools, sauna and spa area. It was just perfect after our flight. With a comfortable bed, block out curtains and a very quiet rooms, it really felt like a perfect relaxing holiday for us. Thank you all so much, M ❤️. See you soon x Wishing you a Happy Easter 🐰

My overall stay was fantastic! I had booked an ocean view room and the view was fantastic! We went during rain and it was quite loud at night due to the wind but that can’t be helped. Breakfast was the best breakfast I’ve had at a hotel and was amazing. Parking was easy. Only thing to stop 5 stars was the room wasn’t cleaned until day 4 when I called for fresh towels and the elevator smelt like vomit the whole week I was there. Would still book here again as the location and breakfast were amazing. Thank you

  • 4/5 Jeff E. 2 years ago on Google
Just back from a 3 night stay. Staff amazing, location great and the parking isn't as bad as everyone mentions. The only way you get room noise is if you have the windows/balcony door open. Breakfast option was fantastic, and the quality of food and service was fantastic. I got the best omelette I've ever had this morning. The rooms however are not of the usual Hilton standard, and I think that's partly due to it being the Gold Coast. They are matchbox in size, bland and the beds are super uncomfortable. Would be totally acceptable if the prices weren't as high as they are.

Always great environment with the Hilton Brand. The staff at the executive lounge are very friendly and helpful. You are literally spoilt with all the drinks and food if you pay for the rooms with lounge access. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The 4 pools are great that you can always find one you want to. It's hard to operate with 75% of staff in quarantine and I could hardly feel it was understaffed. Well done! Thank you 🙏🏼

For a five star hotel I would of expected a lot better. The room had no spare toilet paper, limited towels and no mini bar? We ordered a couple of beers and it took nearly an hour to come to our door… was quite disappointed. I would say the buffet breakfast was very average as well. I think the place is quite old, and could probably do for a renovation in my opinion… the TVs are extremely low quality and old. I thought the hotel had 24 hour room service menu? I did my research before booking, but for some reason it didn’t have any of the menu availability that was on your website? Very much a schoolies type of hotel. I guess you’re paying for the fantastic views….

Before I booked with the Hilton I saw reviews on google and was a bit skeptical. People said that the beds were uncomfortable, elevators slow etc etc however upon actually staying there myself recently, I can't fault the Hilton at all. I stayed in the King Relaxation Room. Firstly the room was huge! The air conditioning was perfect, doesn’t dry you out at all. The bed and bedding was so comfortable. It was mine and my fiancés 3 year anniversary and when we entered the room there was 2 cheese cakes with “happy anniversary” on a chocolate, as well as a whole bottle of wine. The bathroom again was huge and the shower pressure was incredible. The staff were all so helpful and friendly. The indoor pool was great as it was raining for a day. I also had breakfast included, and the buffet breakfast was incredibly fresh and tasty! And again staff were all so helpful. Anytime I rang for something for the room it was sent up right away. The location is perfect too. I cannot fault them at all. I will be back and can’t wait :)

Our stay at the Hilton Surfers Paradise was impeccable. Staff were amazing and helpful, we experienced exceptional customer service. The breakfast buffet was immaculate and we looked forward to it everyday. Comfortable room with great amenities, all you could need for a stay even a coffee pod machine. Pools were fantastic so many to choose from. Absolutely loved the stay here and can not wait to stay again 10/10 experience.

We recently stayed at the Hilton and it was amazing. The service was next level, super friendly and attentive. The rooms were lovely, clean and modern. The food was also great. The in-room dining menu is limited but they do those dishes really well. It is perfect for a young family as its a few hundred metres walk to the beach and right on Cavil Avenue. It can get busy on the weekend, but given how close it is to everything, shops, restaurants and trams, it is perfect for getting out and about with little kids.

Once you navigate the car park and get in the lift, you immediately start to relax. The foyer area is open and well staffed to help get many guests checked in quickly and easily. Things are explained clearly by the friendly staff and everything is also in writing. There's a concierge desk to help you plan your visit or simply choose somewhere to eat. Once you get to the rooms, everything is provided and well set out, giving you lots of space. The views are amazing. There is so much within walking distance of the Hilton that you can leave your car safely in the basement. Plenty of on-site facilities including 2 dining options, room service, spa, gym, sauna and indoor and outdoor pools. Treat yourself to a great place to stay.

Had a 2 bedroom apartment with a great view! We had the lift close very quickly as we were trying to get to the lobby sending my 7 year old on his own 23 floors below! The staff reacted very quickly while we waited for the next available lift to go and collect him. I would like to give a special shout out to the lady who took care of our boy for the few minutes he was missing! We will 100% be back for sure

We stayed in Hilton surfers paradise residences for 4 nights. The location is right in the centre of surfers paradise. Lots of cafe, restaurants, shops and bars within walking distance. The room had everything we needed- washing machines, dryer and a functional kitchen. Overall, it’s an amazing place to stay to enjoy the entertainment lifestyle and beaches in Surfers Paradise. •Car park is $25 per day• - It’s quite a big car park and you don’t have to worry about parking space. You will have your own parking space between B3-B5 with your unit number marked on the floor if you stayed in Hilton Residences.

It was 5* all the way through. We stayed in an executive room with executive lounge access. The room was very clean and comfortable. The facilities at the hotel were fantastic. The food at the restaurant and at the executive lounge was delicious with many different options. But most important was the absolutely amazing staff. Everyone we spoke to, without an exception, were extremely helpful and accommodating. We have stayed at many luxury resorts and hotels, but this one was very special.

The location was brilliant, hotel facilities fantastic. All staff at reception were so friendly and engaging with our 15mo son. Buffet breakfast was a real highlight due to variety of options and the staff; notably Cathy and Sami! They both had such beautiful and warm personalities and once again, spent so much time talking to our son and engaging with him and us! We celebrated our wedding anniversary and my husbands birthday during our stay and both were acknowledged by staff with kind words and gifts. Having multiple pool options was helpful considering we encountered 5 different a during our 7 day stay in Summer 😂. Very family friendly, we would definitely return if we are back in Surfers Paradise. Thank you everyone ❤️

Great service. Great location. Great value. Maybe vacuum more often in the residences, rooms and elevators? Indoor pool water is cold. Very impressed with their messaging system where guests can communicate directly with staff and get any requests or issues resolved very promptly.

Very modern, stylish, super central location. Rooms had all the mod cons, classy room fitout, excellent smart TV, views, top notch consumables, coffee machine, excellent lap pool. Breakfast top notch buffet. Beds super comfy, overall A+. Our only reservation is that you are located directly above several night clubs (especially but not exclusively on weekends), so plenty of thump thumping until late despite the double glazing.

Very pleasant stay. Staff was attentive, helpful at the front desk despite a few booking complications. Our room was made up everyday, although with some supply inconsistencies. Wasn’t a big deal. The only thing that bugged us was a few rubbish on the balcony and used gum stuck on the railings. But honestly guests shouldn’t be doing that in the first place. Room was ample, aircon was cold, bed was very comfy, bathroom was huge with a view. Breakfast was something we looked forward to everyday. Buffet with varied and delicious with cafe standard coffee. Location is super convenient with the light rail just steps away. Thank you and we will be back.

Well appointed hotel in the heart of Surfers Paradise. Stayed here 2 nights for a business trip. Things I liked: - attentive concierge/reception staff - spacious rooms - excellent breakfast buffet (the Portuguese Custard Tarts were delectable!) Things I didn’t like: - street noise from surrounding clubs (I was on level 4) Would I stay here again? Maybe - if I knew I would be on a high level which was less impacted by the noise. I probably wouldn’t come back with my young family - not at all because of the hotel itself, just the location in the heart of Surfers Paradise, which I am sure would appeal to many other people. Overall - I was satisfied with my experience and I can’t fault the hotel for anything that was within their control!

Our stay at this hotel was brief but very welcoming! All of the staff was great but I must point out that Abby at the front desk was extremely helpful and courteous. She was smiling from beginning to end of each interaction. Even offered to keep our water bottles chilled while we walked around to kill time before our flight. It's the small things that count ♥️. Thanks to Abby and all of the team for making our stay very pleasurable.

We have just stayed at Hilton Surfers Paradise for four nights and have enjoyed our stay. All staff were so friendly and helpful. The hotel's location is excellent, and easy to get to most places by walking and driving. Our room was serviced every day and very clean. Parking was a bonus. Will stay with Hilton again in the future!

Prime location. However if you want a good sleep and quiet peaceful night. Stay away from this hotel! Husband, my son and I spent the Saturday night there. Despite the request of staying on higher level, we were put on level 11. We can hear clearly all the pub music noises outside All Night! Very poor noise proofing. The worst is, there is a fault in the mirror lights in our toilet. The lights keep blinking all night. By the time we realised our son was asleep so we couldn’t bother to request to change room. We just don’t expect a 5 star well known hotel would have this fault in the room. Whole night husband and I didn’t sleep. Worst experience ever. This hotel is for those who just like party all night perhaps.

Please be aware that this is NOT a luxury hotel. Also, it is in the heart of Surfers Paradise, which is great, but they don’t warn you that the nightclub strip is outside the front door and they are allowed to blast (and I mean blast) techno music into the street all night. The walls to the room were shaking and I left with a migraine. This would have been ok if it was made clear during reservation and it was my choice to continue to book, but it wasn’t and I had a terrible experience with my daughter.
