Great spot, not a lot of parking, but worth the effort.

I just love Point Danger at the southern most tip of Coolangatta. I don't know if it's the 180 degree views, the walk of remembrance, the tracks to awesome beaches (like gorgeous Rainbow Bay) or simply the fact that I always seem to get a park for my hi-top campervan. It's the perfect place for watching people have fun on the water, snap some amazingly azure blue waters and enjoy a family (or romantic) picnic. Heck, I even snuck in an uninterrupted meditation on the lawn. #bliss

A nice view of the ocean from this headland but too much construction work going on at the moment to make it truly enjoyable. At least there were car parking spaces available. I'll re-rate once the works are completed.

We came and sat down for about 5 minutes then headed over to the rock pools. As we were on our way, we saw some dolphins! There was a whole pod of dolphins! They were in the distance but it was obvious there was a lot of them. We looked in the rock pools and there was a lot of crabs and fish. The sand is fine and soft, I love it! The waves crashing against the shoreline could make you watch it forever. As we went to wash the sand off and walk back to car, we hit the JACKPOT! We saw a beautiful whale spraying water up into the air. Recommended? Yes! Absolutely, especially if you spot animals! Suggestions to improve the place Make more toilet cubicles Put some binoculars for people to spot animals as not everyone would have some Put signs to warn people

Spectacular surf spot, albeit a bit crowded. The only downside is that the water is pretty dirty right near the river mouth, especially after heavy rains

One of my favourite lookout on the coast. The heights provide beautiful views and you can take better sunset pictures there than any other spot in my opinion.

Great tourist spot with a monument highlighting the border of NSW/Queensland going through the centre. Awesome photo opportunities. The view of the beach below is stunning πŸ₯°

The views alone from Point Danger & the lookout .. is a recommended must experience .. if visiting the area Also within the park area on Point Danger .. is the Coolangatta Centaur Memorial and Walk of Remembrance .. with the different , mostly Navy Memorials There is also BBQ & picnic areas on Point Danger Overlooking Point Danger .. is the impressive Captain Cook Memorial and Lighthouse Below the Captain Cook Memorial and Lighthouse .. is the Marine Rescue Point Danger observation building * Interestingly - the Captain Cook Memorial and Lighthouse sits on the NSW / QLD boarder .. at where the boarder meets the coast

There's not much that tops a visit to Point Danger. Here's a Eastern Water Dragon, who happily posed for a photograph. The view from Point Danger is magnificent. The Duranbah Cafe has all the best eats, amazing coffee choices, and a fabulous range of popular beers and other liquid delights. I highly recommend, you gather your friends and family and spend some time in this gem of a spot. Enjoy! Wendy E. T.

A beautiful weekend getaway. A bit cold this June end and sunny as well. Recommended for picnics 🫠

An amazing view point, beautiful blue water, which you can watch endlessly and sit there for hours. Pick a good sunny day. otherwise, it may get windy at times. You can see the Gold Coast skyline from here, and it looks even pretty at night. Don't miss this spot if you're nearby. Head to the beach after this and have a great time.

Sensational views north and south. A number of war memorials around here. Pensioner hot spot for morning teas. Great for sunrise and sunsets.

It's hard to beat Point Danger for a beautiful view and Gold Coast atmosphere. You will struggle to find a park, but probably best to persevere for a park up top and walk down to Froggies beach and Snapper Rocks.

Great views from the top near the car park, with some nice grassland area for picnics once you walk down the steps. It gets quite windy and parking is generally quite limited.

What a wonderful experience. If you haven't been there, please go and also try to drive around to see the beautiful location. Guess what... you'll be in NSW at the same time πŸ€·β€β™€οΈπŸ˜
