A MUST SEE when you are on the Gold Coast. This place is BREATHTAKING! Beautiful beach to lay on and soak up the beautiful Queensland sun, or simply walk, ride, skateboard or run along the very well maintained paths that follow the shoreline. The parks that surround the beach are beautifully maintained. Lots of water points along the shoreline. The beach is very accessible from many places along the Esplanade. Heaps of parking .... a word of advise though....there are free parking areas AND there are parking spaces that require payment. Parking fines are in excess of $70 if you don't pay. BE AWARE of where you park. A wonderful place to relax or exercise. Heaps of cafes along the shoreline. I always visit Burleigh Heads Beach when I'm in Southern Queensland.

Grew up on this beautiful beach. Now i try to come back for visits a couple of times a year. Nothing better than sitting back and watching the sunrise and listening to the waves.

There's a reason why it's such a popular place. Beautiful beach protected from southerly winds. Lovely park running whole length with pedestrian and bike path. Great coffee shops, surf clubs, restaurants and the views. Headland walk offers pathway to Tallebudgera beach.

Amazing place to watch the sun set while people surf, have picnics, drink beers and generally enjoy Aussie life by the beach. Such a great atmosphere to the point where I'm tempted not to share how awesome this place is. Must visit when heading beyond Surfers.

Burleigh Beach is one of my favourite beaches to go to, the views are always amazing, the water is beautiful and always great to go for a swim. Plenty of restaurants and cafe's near by and alot of walking space to explore.

Such a nice beach with great views! Can get very windy on some days. Lots of surfers. You can even see whales dancing if you're lucky!

Beautiful beach with flags for designated swimming areas with life guards. Busy on the weekends and sunny days but still plenty of space to lay out a towel and set up for the day.

honestly one of my favourite beaches in the world, even though during summer the waters may still be a little too chilly for foreigners like me but the locals love it and it has the perfect waves to surf or just enjoy swimming in the ocean.

Think lots of locals & backpackers love this beach. It’s too busy for my liking. Today early evening, it was lightly raining. Great views to surfers. Really awesome seeing kites.

The scenery here is beautiful. You can picture the high rise buildings of surfers paradise in the back with the ocean in front of you. It has a nice park just a stroll away and public toilets and cafes around.

I love my local beach. Getting a park is tricky sometimes;but doesn't stop us from enjoying the walks, swim and sun..

My husband and I love going to this beach. Nowadays its a bit crowded but its good for surfing. I would say I love this beach compared to surfers paradise. Surfers paradise is always crowded with tourists.

Almost stayed in the Gold Coast just because of this beach. It's not too crowded, doesn't have lots of jellyfish like Surfers and has very soft sand. Waves can be very strong. My favourite urban Australian beach.

Amazing view of clean beach with metropolitan buildings as background. The best thing is the place is not over crowded. Strong scent of salt water might not be for everyone but if you can stand it then it a great experience.

The old historic beach is related to aboriginal ancestors. It is a beach you can enjoy so many activities such as, ocean swimming, running up to the hill, Sun bathing, dining, bush walking, and just sitting on the beach wasting fresh air alone. I loved running along Burleigh head beach and finished with a meal before heading back home.

Beautiful beach, with lifeguards, also some nice places to eat, watch out for the jellies if the wind is blowing in the right direction.

There is a great vibe about the beach and the surrounding area that make it quite different to most other parts of the gold coast. It's very popular, and can get crowded in the height of summer, but everyone is always in a good mood. Parking can be tricky (although there is quite a lot of it). Lots of buses run through here though, and bikes are a popular option. It is an excellent beach for swimming.

Such a beautiful beach, cant get enough of Burliegh.... such a pretty place to visit. Love the awesome James St precinct to do some shopping! Something for everyone absolutely perfect place to stay for the day or holidays!! Beach is so clean and amenities are located really close as well as the patrolled beaches!!Great to bring your dog, every one is so friendly!!👍

Burleigh Heads Beach is simply amazing. From the top of Burleight Hill you can see a beautiful picture of what the Gold Coast is. Nice place to enjoy the day woth family and friends. I would always recommend such good places to enjoy the life like the beautil Burleigh Heads. Make sure you get there early so you can grab the best spots to spend the day on the stunning view.

What's not to love sbout this place - beats spending an 8 hour grind working somewhere where you don't want to work! Life's a beach and Burleigh Heads is the best way to escape nagging coworkers- i'll be waiting for you with my zinc chapstick and organic coffee from Quest Coffee 😎
