My amazing doctor I normally see Is DR Simone Wright. She is fantastic and I’ve been with her since the first day I found out I was pregnant with my now 8 year old son. This last year with her has been the most challenging as I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Any how the purpose I’m writing this review as I needed to see another doctor today for a follow up X-ray for my son and this was handled well, HOWEVER… today prior to his appt I noticed some odd sections around my new breast reconstruction so I rang in advance and spoke with the nurses who reassured me they could assist or have the doctor assist so I didn’t need to go to Robina hospital ( breast care nurses). I saw DR Neeliya Kumar and found her completely unprofessional. She put the nurse on speaker and also shared with me her own personal health issues (which I showed compassion And empathy, but almost was made to feel guilty for holding up her time). I will never go and see her again. When addressing with reception they just ignored my feedback so definitely more training needed on How they take on feedback and show professionalism. I’m so grateful to have you DR Wright and you are the only reason I come to this centre.

I've only had a few appointments with Dr Leigh Cooper but she was really great and showed how knowledgeable and understanding she is! Every issue I raised was dealt with professionally I felt her openess to help was genuine. Even though I'm unwell I thought it was a great consultation! Thanks Leigh. The staff at reception are friendly and helpful. My doctor Dr Simone has provided me with outstanding care over the years, she is professional, empathetic, listens to my issues, refers me to appropriate services and goes out of her way to help me. Simone is both efficient and down to earth.

Friendly staff . Great doctor, mum and I visit yearly for our skin checks with Emma Proudman . So glad we’ve found our skin specialist. A little out of our way but worth the drive .

Staff are always super friendly and helpful. I’ve being going to this surgery for around five years. Doctors and nurses are great, very knowledgeable. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great doctors surgery, especially for people with young children.

I am a new patient at Homeworld Helensvale Medical Centre. The front desk staff are very helpful, polite and welcoming. The female Dr I am seeing is also very thorough and I no longer feel rushed through my appointment. I am very happy with my experience at this centre.

Dr Emma is knowledge, experienced and has a great manner. I am hard to please when it comes to Doctors but I cannot recommend Emma highly enough. I wish she still did GP work as I would switch to her in a heartbeat

It can be hard to get appointments. Some great, caring doctors in the practice, although there are others who can be quite rude and belittling. I presume that's a flow-on effect from covid, as they are sometimes short of doctors and the ones left on duty, struggle with an increased caseload

Very annoyed with this business… Waited two weeks for an appointment.. Then was told I would be forced to wear a mask as a Qld mandate.. Then when I checked with other medical centres found out there was no mandate to wear a mask.. Lost my appointment and a waste of time.. The worst part is I was there 2 weeks prior and was offered a mask… I declined to wear a mask, and they were not concerned, and had no real problem with it. Saw the doctor and then made the next appointment.. They need to not waste people time and be upfront that it is a doctor’s choice and at making the appointment let customers know if the doctor they are seeing requires it or not.. Do not lie to me trying to tell me it’s mandated.. it’s only a guideline

This practice has been amazing and me and my family kept on going here even though they are not bulk billed anymore. The level of care that Dr Haley Middler provides is beyond exceptional. We also see Dr Scott Burdon and he's equally compassionate and thorough as Dr Middler. The receptionists are also very nice and helpful. Kerrin helped me a lot during a mixed up on my specialist referral. Very thankful and highly recommend this practice.

Its nice to go to a doctors surgery and be greeted by friendly reception staff. Doctor Cooper is great, she actually listens and talks through your issues with you AND doesn't rush you back out the door for the next patient. 10/10 from me.

All the doctors at Homeworld are excellent, I prefer female doctors but have been to both. The nurses and reception staff are polite and very caring. My doctor Linda Vodli is so easy to talk to and very friendly. I would definitely recommend this clinic.

Quick friendly service. I've never had to wait long after my scheduled appointment time and can get appointments when I need them. Doctors are always professional, friendly and respectful.

I have been attending the Homeworld Medical Centre for many years, in fact ever since they have been there. The staff from reception, to the nurses are so up front caring, and pleasant. Which leads me to my Doctor. Doctor Sharon Thomas who goes far and beyond what she needs to do, not just with me but with many of my friends who attend there also. She has seen me through so much Cancer and so so much more and when my husband passed away she was ever so caring. I actually live at Surfers Paradise and have to go quite a distance to see her, but would not want to go to see anyone else. Thanks Sharon and all reception staff and nurses. I highly recommend Dr Emma Proudman for a skin check. She is very friendly, immediately puts you at ease and is extremely thorough and professional. I have no hesitation saying that it was the best skin check I have ever had and I have had many.

First time meeting Dr Haley Middler and she was so kind, caring and compassionate. I left feeling happy knowing that I will be in good hands! Reception staff are thorough and helpful. Would recommend others to attend this clinic. It's good to have everything in the same space, pathology and chemist being next door.

The staff are friendly and efficient and nicely presented. The waiting room is fresh and clean and quite inviting. Dr Sharon Thomas was very friendly and thorough and I will definitely be returning to this clinic.

On Monday I visited Emma Proudman. I have terrible skin with surface cancers everywhere. As usual she was excellent - caring & professional in her treatment. The only problem is that, as she is so popular, it is difficult to get an appointment with her.

Excellent medical practice. Staff are courteous, friendly and efficient. The Dr's are knowledgeable and take time to listen to your concerns and acknowledge your concerns with kindness and care while maintaining professionalism.

Dr Catherine Henderson was extremely thorough and professional . My visit was at the completion of her day yet she still made sure she covered everything . Highly recommend for anyone looking for a female GP on the Northern end of the Coast

We moved to this surgery and clunt be happier! From the friendly receptionists who go beyond for each and every patient to the dr's who never keep you waiting for hrs. Dr Scott Burdon is our Dr of choice andis very thorough and patient with my teenage boys and their ongoing sports injuries. A special mention to Nurse Alison. She is exceptionally patient, and has the art of administering vaccinations to a tee. My son has always been petrified of needles and refused to have his vacs at school or clinics . He will only go to Alison now but is getting over his fear finally thanks to her.

We have been seeing Dr Hayley Middler for the past 6 years and now see Dr Elisabeth Dumitriu at HomeWorld Helensvale. Both doctors are so thorough, friendly and go out of their way to check on my son. The nurses are also so patient and friendly when we have seen them for our vaccinations. Thank you for taking care of us so well.

Doctor Vodley is a fantastic GP. She's been my wife's GP during her pregnancy and I've recently switched to her as well. She is extremely knowledgeable, polite and very thorough. Will definitely be continue coming to this practice for many years to come

Can not recommend Homeworld medical centre highly enough! The reception staff are always friendly and welcoming. The doctors have the upmost care, having been a patient here for years now, I am incredibly thankful to have such a wonderful team on my side.

Today I visited Dr. Emma Proudman for my annual skin cancer check. I have been seeing Dr. Emma for many years. Now at the Homeworld, & previously at Jimboomba. Over all these years I have found Dr. Emma to be great. Polite, friendly, thorough, professional, & the ability to make & keep you relaxed regardless of the procedure. Highly recommend her. An absolute lovely lady.

This is a great place as everyone is so polite and professional, nothings the bother they will go out of their way to help. Been going there 5 years now. They have a fantastic skin dr Emma, who is lovely. Recommend this practice.

Do not go here for Vaccines! Made the first appointment of the day to have my daughters vaccine, they knew we were going to be in a rush as we had to drive over half an hour to and from but they are our closest vaccine clinic, and we had another appointment at 9 and school drop offs which they knew as well and assured us it would be fine. Over half an hour later and they still weren’t taking us in, reception checked with them and they still said a few more minutes. We had to just leave to make it to everything else. Had to take time off work, an hours drive for nothing. You wasted our time and our fuel. Still no vaccine for my daughter and we probably have to do it all over again!

Exceptional compassion shown when needing an urgent referral. Sue and the Dr involved truly went above and beyond to help, when they both should have been at home with their loved ones; I can't thank them enough. Two very big hearts.
