Shocking experience, they stuffed up my appointment time for a transfusion of iron, was told it was $50 only to find out its $200, they refused to see me and do transfusion as apparently the nurse knows better than an experienced cardiologist. Sent me away for more blood tests when my g.p had given me the paperwork they required showing my iron was very low.

Paid $127 for a doctor to see my 3 year old, which apparently is the discounted rate. During the consult, we were interrupted by the receptionist ringing through twice to confirm the practice bank details due to an internal problem with another patient - no apology received. I also received information on the doctors website & nutritional advice (whole foods only diet) to improve my child’s overall health, mood, behaviour and sleep pattern. Then given a script & blood test as well as a swab taken. Got told to come back in 3 days, no doubt I’d be charged for that too. But seriously, I’ve never been charged by a doctor (bulk billing and not) for them to see my children, this price is outrageous, considering I was never warned about it. Apparently it changed during Covid, but my children have seen several doctors, including on the weekends, and we have never been charged. Not only that, I booked the appointment online the day prior, for 9am the next morning, then it was declined at 9:11am but luckily, I still went there, they “fit me in”. I got a different first impression, firstly listening to the same receptionist raise her voice on the phone with someone else re patients details. Even when I paid, she did not address my concerns at all. I will not be back, I feel like I’ve wasted my money especially now that I’ve found out I was charged for the longer consult (20-40 mins) - majority of this was being sold the podcast, website, whole food product and 2x interrupted phone calls from reception. They don’t even return phone calls.

Dr Nikki / Lehmann at haan medical in Broadbeach is one of the best GPs I’ve ever come across! She is so kind and thorough , taking her time to talk about my concerns and going above and beyond for me during pregnancy, post partum and now for my little girl. Thank you Dr. Nikki you are an asset ⭐️ If you are looking for womens health/ paediatric GP I think she’s great, and if she doesn’t know the answer she finds it for you!

Update: I have asked the clinic to cease all contact with me, and twice have been contacted. Today I got a text saying they need my card details so they can go ahead with an appointment they booked for me without my consent. LEAVE ME ALONE. No Covid 19 safety in place. No safety practice for trans and gender non conforming patients. Doctors seem to be so tightly packed the misread results, don’t take in any answers to the questions you ask. Has lead to misdiagnosis and unnecessary tests.

I have been going to this Medical Centre for 15 years and I am very pleased with the service they provide. Dr Sonu was my original Dr and she was amazing, had a lot of empathy especially for my disabled husband post stroke, who has since passed with lung cancer. Now I am seeing Dr Nicole Lehmann who is also amazing. She is thorough and ensures you get the best treatment as required. She puts you at ease with her lovely personality and obvious extensive knowledge. The nurses do a wonderful job and the reception staff do as well making you feel welcome. Would recommend this practice to anyone.

My partner has been on a waiting list for major surgery on his ankle. Top orthopaedic surgeon in Sydney told us this is one of the worst cases he’s seen. A doctor at Haan Medical Clinic said it was “arthritis” when asked for a medical certificate. Don’t go here these doctors just don’t care and obviously don’t know very much.

I have been a patient of Haan Health Medical Broadbeach for a few years for general health matters. It is a great clinic. Dr Niki Lehmann is a wonderful GP who is patient, kind and very thorough. I now take my newborn daughter to see her also. The nursing and reception staff are also exceptional. I highly recommend this medical practice.

This was my first visit to Haan Health Broadbeach. I was referred to Dr Soheil Torabi by a friend after I became unimpressed by my current doctor and clinic. The staff at Haan were very attentive and Dr Torabi took his time to assess my condition and needs in a caring and kind way. I will certainly be returning to Haan and Dr Torabi when needed in the future.

I really struggle with this company and their lack of communication and understanding. I had an appointment today a 2.45pm. I arrived at 2.3pm. Waiting to see my doctor for a check up after a blood clot when I am only 34. So it’s worrying me. The secretary look at me and wait on the phone. Obviously no one is talking to her. I wait patiently 10 min and when I stand up, still on the phone taking to no one, she say that my doctor is not here and had to leave. Couldn’t have she said that straight ? And couldn’t have give me a phone call earlier? I come only for this doctor that follow up everything from the start. Anyway, not recommending this place to anyone. Neither this neither Coomera. Edit: they called me back to apologise and organise another doctor to see me. I changed the rating from 1 to 3.

20 minute wait but the Dr did everything that she needed to do. I left very satisfied. The Receptionist was lovely and the nurse also acknowledged me in passing. All good.

Met with the Haan Dietician for review of my eating habits as part of health plan. Felt affirmed that I was generally on the right track. More importantly was helped see how I could improve by tweaks and small changes to be even better. Left feeling encouraged and supported and enthusiastic to incorporate the manageable and practical changes. Eager to report back on progress made on newly set objectives.

I’ve always found all the staff to be extremely friendly & efficient. Our regular Doctor is Dr Lehmann. She’s very attentive & compassionate towards her patients. We always get very knowledgeable & accurate diagnosis’s from her followed with satisfactory treatment & follow up. A great Doctor.

Met with Dr Liesel Whyte, our new GP, who is thorough in her evaluation and advice. We needed to change from Dr Sonu to a new GP, since Dr Sonu has taken leave, and we are very pleased with the change. Unfortunately, the change was mishandled, without being informed or contacted by Haan Medical of Dr Sonu absence. I was required to handle my own surgeries with Specialists and left in limbo with GP. It seems Haan Medical is trying to get the practice back on track.

My favourite medical centre on the Gold Coast! 💕 The staff and Drs are all so caring and supportive. I go here to manage PCOS and after some terrible experiences in the past I was so relieved to find a great practice that will really listen and go the extra mile to help. Thank you so much team 😊

It's so rare on the Gold Coast to find medical staff and doctors who are so friendly and nice from the moment you walk into reception! I've been to a few practice where reception are cold & treat you with disregard. Additionally Dr Liesel was so caring and thorough with the check up. She is so up to date with the information for ladies health. I would recommend this centre to everyone!

EDIT ** tried to call number below that has been commented and no answer. Great doctor! Poor admin. Unfortunately the receptionist has ruined my experience and I won’t be going back. When I came out of the doctor’s room she thought I was someone else, then couldn’t find me in the system and had to ring me later in the week to bill me. The receptionist also billed someone else as me (found out when checking my Medicare account). I needed to do a patient history request to send off to my interstate doctors. I needed information from these for a specialist appointment and when (a couple of weeks later) I rang Hans to ask for it, I was informed they never got a response from my doctor. When I asked to check the details I was then told they in fact couldn’t find my forms and I’d need to do them again. None of this was brought to my attention. I had to ring them to find out. Very disappointing experience.

I have attended this practice for at least 10 years. As a healthy male in my mid-thirties. I appreciate the Doctors at Haan Health for the level of healthcare knowledge that I have had access to over the years. Three years ago I had changed to a newer, closer, 100% bulk billing practice to find that they only wanted to prescribe medication after providing out-of-date and incorrect information for my high cholesterol condition. So, upon returning to Haan Health. I was able to re-establish a more reliable resource without fear of being coerced into self medicating. Plus with the help of my own research and friends with similar conditions was able to work with Haan Health to become the healthiest version of myself I can be. I have since been able to regularly check my body composition as I Love the gym, get notified for yearly skin checks and have been able to control my iron levels without feeling coerced into self medicating or have procedures performed. Haan Health is a fantastic resource whenever I need to re-align my health strategies.

Without a doubt, the best medical centre on the coast. Professional, thorough and just as importantly, caring. Were nothing short of amazing with Mum and Dad. Been going there since I moved up here, 7 years ago. Were the only people who followed through on my ankle problem and recommended the best surgeon. Have not had any problem for the last 6 years. Have managed my weight issues and as Mum and Dad had heart issues have monitored my heart. All is good. Dad lived to 97 and Mum 95. The last 20 years of their lives, were under Dr Sonu and the team. Further comment is superfluous. Simply superb.
