The staff was excellent and super friendly. They never broke a sweat even with it being extremely busy during breakfast. Our order came out fast and was delicious we each a taco and shared bowl and everything was great.

Now THIS is a great burrito. I've had a lot of burritos in my day and the one I had here was especially superb. I ordered the original size Javelina burrito with medium heat (spiciness level). To be honest, it was relatively spicy, so I would not recommend to top spice level unless you are crazy. Very, very deliciously fully-loaded burrito. The chips and salsa were average in my opinion. They were overly crunchy and the salsa was okay. Overall the restaurant ambiance was great. Because it was a nice day, all of the wall-doors were open.

Good to know they serve breakfast all day on sundays but every other day they stop at 11 am, unfortunately we were there on a Saturday after noon so missed out on bfast. I liked my Bloody Mary, the burrito was solid and I’d be very curious to try the other varieties on the menu. The vibe was great too for a hot summer day.

After hundreds of people told me to go here on TIKTOK (milehighfooddude) I decided to take the drive out to Golden to try it out. It's just a few miles down from the courthouse. Love the sign outside, giant "bonfire" can't miss it. Looked busy from the outside and it sure was. You have to form a line from the counter and it went to clear to the door. Lots of people waiting to hear their number called. There was electricity in the air and I could feel it. I ordered the Chupacabra which has bacon, sausage and chorizo and I got extra spicy. Decent wait but not overly so to where you get angry. They do a great job slinging burritos! Finally got mine abs headed to the car. This thing was hot! Temp and spice wise! Good crisp to the potatoes. Cheesy and gooey with just a slight crisp on the tortilla. Overall very good. Is it the best? That's debatable but definitely top 3. It's a good size but there's still something that doesn't feel right about paying almost $12 for just a burrito with no sides. Will be back when I'm in the area again.

Was recommended this place and it didn’t disappoint. The chips and salsa was spot on, I would only suggest maybe having slightly more options for vegetarians would be great! Although, we still had good veg. Options and enjoyed the views and the burritos!

Great burrito still, even after the last time I was here four years ago when they didn't have a storefront. Chupacabra Original burrito size can be split with two people, or one very hungry person. Wouldn't recommend the margarita pitcher - it's only three drinks and way too much ice.

My favorite little spot for a breakfast burrito. This place has always been a go-to for me. The food here is delicious and they have always done a great job. A walk up to the counter and order type of place, a small bar that fills up quickly, outdoor deck seating, and a small parking area which fills up quickly as well. They serve boozy drinks too and the wait isn't all bad on the weekends, especially when you can just hangout on the deck and soak in the views from Lookout Mountain. Breakfast is served all day Sunday but definitely go when they are serving lunch burritos and tacos as well! Make sure to try the Fuego sauce for it is very spicy!

This place had all the vibes! Loved everything! We ordered the Chupacabra burrito style, and it did not disappoint! We wanted to taste the flavors from jackelope and javelina so we ordered those in taco versions. Great flavors as well. The chips guac and salsa are a must! Full bar was available as well! Must try!

First time here. So happy I found this place! Everything is made in house and totally worth the wait. You can also order ahead online. Salsa is great, medium was the perfect heat. Parking is limited so be aware of that. Also, lunch burritos aren’t available during breakfast. Can’t wait to go back and try the lunch burritos!!

Stoped by here on a Saturday morning. The place was packed with people eagerly awaiting their burritos. I had ordered ahead and got there when the online service had told me that it was ready. I had to wait another 10-15 minutes after for my order to be ready. With that said, it was well worth the wait! The burritos are delicious, creamy eggs, great selection of meat options, and all around scrumptious!

Visited on a Saturday morning, expect to wait 20 mins for your order. Food is worth the wait though! First time here and will definitely be returning. Burritos have a good portion of food.

Bonfire is a treasure in Golden CO. I used to live in Arvada and had a burrito every Sunday after a trail run. Sunday is the best because they serve breakfast burritos all day long. They have a great business model and are almost ALWAYS busy, especially on the weekend. Pro tip is to order online and arrive 15 min after the stated time so you're not disappointed. The burrito will be better that way anyways. Their tortillas are something special; thin and flaky but don't tear open like a blown diaper. I flew in from California and the first thing on my mind was Bonfire 🔥

A colorful, mountain vibe permeates the room while still being low-key and chill. The support from the establishment of its employees is apparent in the tables, which were created by the same people serving and making your food and drinks! The salsa was too salty for me, but the spiciness of the dish was exactly what I was hoping for. I'm glad I drove by and decided to stop in for lunch. The flavors were great, and the recommendation from the staff was on point. It's definitely worth stopping in if you want a delicious bowl or burrito.

The tacos here are delicious and reasonably priced. I tried the cerdo and the vegetarian taco and neither disappointed. I especially enjoyed the pineapple in the cerdo one. They also spice the chips here which make them unique and delicious. The seating is seat yourself and they have a variety of outdoor seating options. I will definitely be coming back.

We were in the Golden area a number of years ago, and after a hike, searching for a "local" place for lunch. We passed by a parking lot trailer ("food truck") that looked like it was serving Burritos; we circled back and decided to investigate. So glad we did - what a gem! Loved the no-frills, rustic setting, loved the "ring string" game on the pole, and the food was sensational! It was well-rated then, and I can see why. I have come to learn that Bonfire now has a "brick and mortar" location - will definitely visit next time I am in town.

This place is located in Golden, Colorado. My daughter lives in Littleton and was raised in southern NM. She knows good Mexican food, so I took a chance. The burrito was very good for a none NM burrito. The 50/50 sauce was tasty with just the right hot taste. The down side was how long it took to get a burrito. We ordered online 20 minutes before arrive in Golden. When we arrived we still had to wait 20 more minutes. Very small building to sit and eat at.

Super fun vibe, yummy burritos and an awesome outdoor covered patio. Really glad we stopped in here for lunch while passing through Golden. Fun, funky and SPICY!

Best breakfast burrito ever. We drive up to Golden all the time to enjoy these tasty burritos. I love that you can pick your size and spice level. Soooo good. Also bonus points because they are also at the local farmer's market on Sunday in Central Park.
