There’s a lot of hype around this place so I stuck through the 30 minute wait in line. Classic burger joint to build your own burger. The burgers were great. Loved the vibe and fun decor. Unfortunately the burger didn’t live up to being worth the long line and anticipation for me. Great burger but maybe too much hype. They were busy though and it was a Saturday afternoon. I’d definitely go back if there’s no line. If you’re standing in line wondering if a 35 minute wait is worth it… I’d say no.

Awesome burger spot in Golden Colorado. Right across the street from Coors Brewery!! Everything was made fresh and delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The way to order your food is interesting. You fill out a wrapper on how you want your burger or hot dog. I will definitely be going back soon!!!

Long wait for disappointing food. I'm honestly not sure why this place is so popular. The line was out the door and reviews were raving so we stopped by. We waited around an hour from getting in line to getting our food and the burger and chicken sandwich were sub par to average at best. The atmosphere is definitely cool and I like the idea of writing your order on the burger sleeve but it fell very flat in my opinion. I will not be going back.

Loved the place. From the exterior & interior designs to the unique ordering process, you’ll know you’re in for something special from the start. My burger had chopped green chilis, pepper Jack, and more on it. It was excellent. Fries and onion rings were fantastic also. Service was so friendly and helpful, especially knowing I was an out of town visitor.

One of the best burgers I’ve ever had. When you arrive you fill out a burger “sleeve” where you can mark what toppings you want. Then you take this to the register where you can order drinks and sides. You are given a name and they will bring your food out to you. Condiments are self serve. The prices are relatively cheap for the size of the burgers. Great atmosphere in the heart of Golden. The line was out the door when we went and took about 30 minutes to get our order in. Be prepared to wait in line to order if you come at a popular time.

Wow. I haven't had amazing food experience like this in a long time. Long ish wait but they said they were busier than normal the day we went. Got the double burger with onion strings/rings/petals and regular french fries. Had an Out of Body Experience eating the burger. That's how good it was. Proper sized patties without feeling greasy. Thick cut ingredients. Top 5 burger in my life. Best onion rings in my life. For real. Highly recommended!! Run here

Great burger! My girls loved their fries. Very happy with the meal. And the crispy chicken sandwich was tender. Would visit again.

This place is amazing! The food is amazing, and the building is chaotic, adding to the atmosphere of just a fun time while eating an amazing burger. The fries are top notch, if you like a little bit more salt, 😂. Definitely will be coming to this place when in town again!!

First time at Bob's Atomic Burger in Golden, its not too bad. Had a burger with cheese, chicken sandwich, sweet potato fries, and regular fries. There was about a 20 min wait to order and about 25 min wait to receive your order. The burger was a little dry but the chicken sandwich was juicy, overall it was ok.

Great burgers. The meat was of superb texture and flavor and the build your own options made a clutch sandwich. The bun had a perfect shape texture and flavor to pair with the burger and toppings were portioned to pair nicely as a compliment. The sauce bar was an excellent touch and the fries were tasty. I will def return for a round two. This is hands down my go to burger bar.

I've been to Bob Atomic Burgers multiple times, and each visit has been a fantastic experience. The food is consistently delicious, and the atmosphere is great. Their burgers are a must-try, and the service is top-notch. I highly recommend Bob Atomic Burgers for anyone looking for a delicious meal in Golden!

The burger was hot and fresh. The lack of toppings was disappointing. No jalapeno cream cheese spread, no red onions. I asked for medium, it came medium well. For all the personal recommendations I got and the 5 star reviews I read, this burger was a pretty big disappointment. There was nothing about the taste that really stood out to me, made my mouth water and make me want to go back. It was a little on the dry side. That said the staff was super friendly, great energy, the place was clean and the service was prompt. The value $21 for a burger and tots and coke was a bit high though.

If you are going to eat in Golden, this is the place to go. We ordered the burger and the fried chicken sandwich. The burger was so good that we didn’t even need to put condiments on it. The chicken sandwich was good too but a little mayo/mustard would have been good. The large fries were plenty for 2 people.

Great burgers! Their sweet potato fries are amazing. The ordering process is clunky & inefficient, slowing this place down. That combined with its popularity, limited kitchen and seating space can make going here a lengthy and risky proposition.

Fried chicken sandwich was solid. That's about as far as it goes though. Burger patty was crazy thin for a $13 burger, felt like we were eating mostly fluff with too much bread. $42+ for 2 base sandwiches with a small fry and large onion ring and no drinks? Hard pass in the future, but glad we tried.

The burgers were delicious and they have a huge patio with a great view. Highly recommended!

Amazing burger! One of the best in Denver. Consistently on several best burger lists. I don't make it to Golden that often but was on town and thought I would check it out. Totally worth it and I wish I had tried it sooner. If you like burgers eat here. Heads up the burgers are good quite large so if you are going to a double bring an appetite.

Super fun burger restaurant. The atmosphere is quirky and fun! They have lots of burger options. As a vegan, I was excited with their quinoa burger option. It was a pretty good burger and you get to pick your topping options. They also have fries (regular and sweet potato) as well as onion strings. I went on a Wednesday and the wait was not long but worker said on the weekend their wait can be pretty long. Highly recommend checking out this place if you’re in Golden!

One of the better burgers I’ve had. I typically like a smash burger but these are a little thicker and incredible. Onion rings are great too. My only wish is if they had homemade ranch or anything.

I kept hearing about this place when asking locals where to get a quick, tasty lunch. I loved the super simple set-up. Walked in and grabbed a baggy, built my burger and handed it to the kitchen. I kept it basic - a hamburger on white bun with no additional toppings, cheddar cheese and loaded up on the free toppings (lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles and jalapenos for a lil kick) along with a side of fries. It was pretty great! I can't say it stands apart from similar restaurants I've been to and it was nowhere near the best burger I'd ever had however it filled the hole and it was still the very, very good meal! It all came to about $20.00 with the tip.j

Yummy smash burgers and delicious sweet potato fries! Swung by after work the other day and was happy about it. The ordering is super unique (you add everything you want onto a wrapper and then take it up to the counter) and everything came out perfect. Parking is kinda slim but there's some up the street around the corner. It was BUSY at dinnertime.

Delicious burger and we got lucky there wasn’t a line! The fries were also super fresh and very generous and portion. The people taking orders couldn’t be any more friendly. Stop and have a bite!! Yum!

Best gluten-free burger I have ever had. The beef patty is juicy and tender. The gluten-free bun held together. Great view while eating outside. There is a reason there is a line up to get food but it is quick and the staff if knowledgable and offer excellent service! We will be back one day all the way from Canada just to have the best burger around!

This place was amazing!! First time going I love trying new burger joints and with it being my birthday I found this place off 5280 list of best burgers in Colorado! Not a huge menu but it was perfect for this place. Simple you walk in and right there was the bags to make your order and anything special they had that day. Kids menu was simple which my kid was able to make her own order her way. Then we walked over to the cashier to complete our order and paid. Loved that they offered pepsi products even though they had coke on tap. Couldn't not believe I go my burger for free cause it was my birthday which we did not know going into it. When we received our order we was missing a order of fries but they was able to fix it and we was able to get fresh hot fries. Liked how they didnt ask a name.for the order but gave us a certain name to listen for. The hamburgers was perry damn good and wouldn't mind going back. The decor made you feel as you was in the middle of some small town in the snow mountains. Would highly recommend 👌!

You order your burger/sandwich/hot dog by filling out a sleeve to customize your order with toppings and cheese. There is a good selection of free toppings (lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, fresh jalapenos, banana peppers) and a number of priced add-ons (bacon, fried egg, etc). The burger was amazing and full of flavor - seasoned wonderfully! The staff was super friendly, which is always appreciated! They give out funny call-names for your order such as The Muffin Man. There is some outdoor seating with a good view of the new Coors mural on the side of the factory. Within walking distance from the main strip in downtown Golden, and a few parking spots out front. For my order (pictured), I only spent $14!

We were visiting Historic Downtown Golden and a local employee recommended Bob's Atomic Burgers. It was great choice! Everything tasted fresh, the meat was juicy and the brioche bun was perfect. We tried their sweet potatoe fries and it was one of the best burgers we've had in a while.

It's frequently those small, hole-in-the-wall type places that really just put the big chains to shame. That's Bob's Atomic Burgers. Absolutely fantastic hamburgers with great tasting patties, super soft buns, and quality toppings, all made fresh to order. Staff was friendly and service fast despite the lunch rush. If I'm ever back in Golden, know that I will be stopping in again.
