Very good hotel but it has issues. The most obvious is the expense. I got the best deal available and it was 340 a night. Women should notice the warning about the hotel posted about chemicals used on property can cause birth defects. Restaurant was not open but the Starbucks we. No safes in room although they have one available at the front desk. Marriot has terrible support issues so don't bother with their apps.

This hotel was very lovely. The pool area and outdoor area are very nice. There are some restaurants close by and you can even access the beach close by. I"m mostly giving it four stars because the price is so outrageous.

BEWARE OF THE NOISE!!! The airport is very close and the planes fly overhead. My kids woke up several times through the night. For $300 a night I would rather stay at a nicer hotel in Santa Barbara. First, the room that I booked was no longer available when I checked in. It was late and I was traveling with two children under two, I was not about to argue all night. Then, I get the bill for 3x more than my bill was supposed to be due to a miscommunication that the hotel regrettable didn't communicate to me :D They just billed me and thought I wouldn't notice. Pretty funny! Then, I speak to a representative that tells me they have a lot of NEW staff that forgot to call me to tell me that they had an issue with payment. WELL you didn't have an issue charging me 3x, but you have an issue sending me an email or calling me?! For over $300 a night I thought I would be treated with a little more respect. I now have 3 transactions from this hotel and have no idea what it is for. I have called the hotel 4x since my stay and the staff is still unclear what the charges are for. I have never had so many issues with a hotel in my life.

The front desk staff couldn't have been any more welcoming and helpful. It's immaculate and has everything you need in the rooms. Location is great. Food, shopping walking distance. Short drive to beach, UCSB or SB Airport.

BASIC room that meets basics needs for an overnight stay: Hot water, bed, bathroom. MINIMUM CLEANING. Good description: disceptively minimum cleaning. Just wait for the Sun to shine in the room. The natural light will reveal how dirty your surroundings are. Housekeeping is only doing the minimum presumably every other day to give the appearance of clean. There is no dusting or cleaning to remove dust and dirt in the rooms. Also, no cleaning to the mirrors or glass. Really!? The mirror was aweful. How does a housekeeper walk past that? The telephone itself and nightstand was so dusty (with hair) which indicates no wiping or no cleaning between guests. Caution: Wipe the room down to keep from getting sick from previous guests. The room is so dirty it triggered severe allergy symptoms. It was understood when the Sun revealed the layers of dust on the headboard and on the nightstand.Upon entering the room, allergy misery all night..CHECKOUT could not come quick enough. Recommendation: ONE NIGHT STAY ONLY IF YOU HAVE TO. Last, housekeeping should wear badge/button stating. Hola, yo no habla Inglés. Which is fine, but guests with questions and needs should know.

I was eating at their Bistro meeting with my client on a Saturday, and their server by the name of Ricardo gave me poor service, he was not friendly and gave me a passive aggressive attitude when asking about different menu items. It was very awkward and uncomfortable for me to enjoy my meal. Definitely would not recommend the breakfast here if you are being served by this man.

Close to the hotel, clean, and just what we needed. No frills but safe area and easy to get to from the airport. Close to restaurants and shopping.

Rooms are clean but maintenance is weak (shower plumbing was loose and rattling in the wall). Regular jet aircraft roar overhead. Neighbors 2 doors down can be overheard easily.

Located a few minutes away from Isla Vista, this hotel is a boon for anyone wanting to visit a student attending UC Santa Barbara. Absolutely fantastic outdoor areas to hang out. Well-appointed and comfortable rooms. Only thing it's not cheap but what is in Santa Barbara. :-/ The hotel is located one block away from the edge of a massive and extensive outdoor preserve area that affords a hiking or running or walking option for everyone. Short. Long. Ocean cliffs. You can choose your own adventure here and we loved it.

Nice hotel, clean rooms, spacious fitness center, but very high prices. They wouldn't honor the government room rate because they said they were too busy.

Rooms a tad small but have nice bathrooms. $15 for parking which is asinine. Pool and hot tub clean but crowded. The putting green is a nice touch. Expensive for what you get overall.

May I just say… After being treated like a 3rd class citizen by Caesar’s Palace Last week - it is such a breath of fresh air to be somewhere they treat you very well, have very nice rooms, and have plenty reasonable food and drink options on-site and within walking distance!!! Thanks Marriott, always a pleasure!!!

The place is nice and clean, but overpriced for the rooms and amenities. They charge for parking $15/day. Makes no sense when there is plenty of spaces. The workers are 50/50 nice and not nice. The electric charging station, there is only one spot. The rate is about 0.35/kwh at the time I saw it. There is a Tesla supercharger and Electrify in the plaze north of the hotel.

Beautifully hidden in a quiet neighborhood. The rooms are wonderfully styled and the courtyard boasts a wonderful pool and jacuzzi that are surrounded by firepits seating and a small mini golf course. The lobby had a Starbucks and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly

Customer service is top notch. Marriott you’ve got a rising star in Ops Manager, Yazan. I’m here for a long term stay for work and he’s been excellent. Helpful, personable, & a true gentleman. Additionally room service is flexible, and kind. Even made me a towel-wrap toothbrush holder! 5/5 all around.

Clean room with comfortable beds. The pool is “semi-heated” (too chilly for swimming in the winter despite told it’s at 81F degrees. Lol. But the jacuzzi works and lovely. That’s all it matters on the day we went swimming together. The breakfast was reasonably priced and the staff was friendly. The food is alright. Some portions are generous. Overall, a pleasant stay. Ample parking.

Nice Courtyard. Very good location. Two story, very large property. Not really much benefit to being Titanium Elite. Didn't get an upgrade. No hskpg unless requested. No free breakfast. You get a $10 credit but a breakfast sandwich and a diet Pepsi cost me $18.64.

Amazing hotel. Besides being beautiful, nicely decorated, and nicest courtyard I have ever stayed at, it’s the only Marriott hotel that has ever had the extra pillows I requested from my profile actually delivered and sitting in my room when I arrived.

We enjoyed our stay. Beautiful courtyard. Wonderful service. Just wish we could have been closer to Santa Barbara, although the drive was very short. Santa Barbara had no rooms available when we booked.

Nice environment especially at night where you can enjoy a romantic time with your love one at fire pit. Spacious room with reasonable price, gymnasium and self service laundry available for guest. You can us in-house bicycle to move around the area. One thing that not provided is free breakfast. You need to order and self-paid.

Honestly one of the nicest family friendly hotels we've stayed in and conveniently located only about 15 minutes from downtown Santa Barbara. We utilized the gym, pool/Jacuzzi, complimentary bikes, and mini golf course. Bonus is great breakfast food at the hotel and Starbucks coffee if you can't make it over to Dune Coffee just down the street.

I was very happy with my stay at this hotel. It was clean and located sufficiently close for a flight out of SBA. I liked the closeness to the ocean. I was able to take a run to and along the ocean. It was a nice and safe place to run in my opinion. The ocean view was beautiful. The hotel itself has a great courtyard. The gas fire pit was nice.

The room we were given was full of spiders and the room smelled like adhesive from the glue they were using to resurface counter tops! We all woke up with headaches. One of the worst experiences I’ve had at a hotel. I expect more for 500.00 a night! Never again!!

Beautiful hotel, clean rooms, friendly service. Nice little restaurant and bar. Small menu but nice selection for breakfast and lunch. Not sure about dinner.

Marriott chain standard high quality of cleanliness and service. 15 minutes from Santa Barbara state st, free minigolf, pool and spa. Nice the outside guests area with fireplace, by the pool, to spend time with friends. If you can, try to get a room at the ground floor, with access to the minigolf and pool area, it’s amazing!!

Great location. Associates were all very nice and helpful. Only complaint was that they were doing some kind of renovation in the gym so couldn't use it in the morning. Otherwise a great stay
