    September 26th checked in 4 pm. We chose this because we have always had great experiences with Hilton. We had been driving for 10 hours, decided to stop for the day and stay with a hotel chain we have always found to be enjoyable. This hotel was the rudest, dirtiest, if I had the choice to give it minus 10 stars I would. The desk clerk was not friendly, not helpful. Wish I had never come here to stay. We had 2 issues with the television, the first wifi wasn't working the second the batteries in the remote were dead. None of these issues were the end of the world, what put me over the edge was the woman at the desk attitude. She was not helpful. My husband asked if she could come up and assist, she told him he had to come down to see her. He finally discovered the issue the instructions for wifi sign on were incomplete. The second issue our remote control batteries were dead. Called the desk again to ask if they had batteries to replace, she responded we have another remote control at the desk you'll have to come get it. I know all this sounds trivial but it's not. Customer service is what makes a business a success. This rude clerk with a personality of a rock is not what you want at your front desk. I have never written a review for a hotel stay. Travel all over, whenever we have encountered an issue it's been politely corrected. Her attitude has left a bad taste with us. We're going back to Marriott. Disgusted and fed up with this hotel. If we weren't so exhausted we would have left.

    Very friendly staff, clean room, good breakfast and good parking. The room was ready, check in was smooth, and the only issue I ran into (dead battery on the card reader) was quickly resolved for me. The front desk at my check in was awesome and I hate that I missed her name. Great experience!

    Only stayed 1 night here after an LSU game, but the room was nice & and clean, as was the rest of the hotel. Friendly desk clerk & wonderful breakfast. Could possibly use a bigger parking lot. Overall great!

    Front desk and other staff is wonderful, rooms however are a nightmare. I usually stay Hilton, well I definitely won’t stay here again. My room is nasty, floor is disgusting I don’t even want to walk around without shoes, bathroom is and was disgusting. The smell of my room is terrible and the wall or ceiling has a constant dripping sound, also my bed is completely ruined on one side (like it’s sloped so bad you’ll roll in the floor almost). Barely any hot water and no water pressure. I’m shocked this is even a Hilton hotel I’m disgusted and so happy this is my last night here. I used lysol on everything and even the smell of the room won’t go away, I will be returning to this area for work Monday and I will never stay at this hotel again. Staff was great, property run down, not clean, makes me feel disgusting like a cheap motel.

    The bedding was clean, we checked under mattress and cloth headboard for any bug sign….none. The bathroom was clean. Safe area. Helpful and courteous staff. Breakfast was a good variety and such a comfy eating area. I asked breakfast hostess if they had gravy. She said not today, but I have some in the fridge I can get for you. I said no no it’s not a big deal. She did it anyway. That is above and beyond service!

    We checked in to the hotel but the bed was not made. Went back to the front desk and the woman who checked us in made everything right. She upgraded us to a very nice suite instead. She was awesome. Situated in a nice location right off I10. The breakfast was very nice. Lady taking care of breakfast was very nice. She had everything spotless with large selections of yummy breakfast stuff.

    Check out staff was short and to the point didn't ask how the stay was just what room we were checking out of on our way out didn't try to conversate or ask us if we had had any issues. The night we checked in one of the beds had dirty duvets and blankets walked down stairs and was offered clean ones that I had to change out myself we had a 2 night stay. The pool had plastic cups I'm assuming we're left by other guests on the sides and no clean towels for when getting out. The next morning cleaning staff did not even knock on door even tho there was sound clearly coming from the room, everyone was decent, but they entered and walked out. My brother went out to the hall to let them know we did need some more clean towels as there were 4 of us and not enough they promised to come back and never did. Will not be staying here again. Weird to see the difference in attitudes when shifts changed. To the night staff and to the lady working breakfast thank you for your attention. Morning staff if you weren't so rushed to get people out and listen to them you would of been made aware of these inconveniences in a mannerly fashion.

    A gentleman by the name of Mason stated that he was the general manager. Initially, the customer service questionable, but it’s not how you start, it’s how you finish. The manager was open and receptive to me as a customer and I really appreciate that. We all have our challenging days, so we must be respectful that someone else might be facing a challenge.
