Room 129 had an odor of cat or dog urine, other then that the room was overall is good condition. The AC unit was misting out water and was unplugged when we entered the room so the room was very warm to start. The check in process was excruciating, especially since I had been driving for 12+ hours, it was after midnight and it seemed as if everything was painstakingly manually entered. The staff was all very very nice and accommodating when I asked for a room on the first floor to make it easy to unload.

So, I am always skeptical about staying at places that I have not had past experiences with. But with my traveling job, I seem to find myself in these predicaments often. Duffys motel when you first arrive you look like what the heck I get myself into. There isn't a big fancy front desk you walk into, and the outside would have you second guessing your choice to stay. But, I asked if I could see my room before paying, and the lady agreed. Needless to say, I was content and spent two nights with them. My room was on the end of the ground row, which was perfect for me. The room was clean and odor free, and the bed was nice and comfortable. This place has a lot of potential, and I could see just how awesome it could become with some minor tweaks. Bottom line is that if I ever go back to the area I would have no problem staying with the Duffys Motel family.

This was our first overnight stop on an eight day 3000 mile road trip. We arrived tired. I went to check in at lobby and a lady was sitting by the front desk…looked like she was praying or something. I asked if she was the lobby clerk, no response. I quickly used the lobby restroom and came back out. She had finished whatever she was doing, but took forever to get us checked in. Not friendly either. And lobby was steamy hot. Our room was ok. We could park in front of our door. A/C didn’t work very well and was hot in southern Georgia. Only real redeeming factors… nearby That her’s BBQ for dinner and Buc-ee’s is just five minutes away for a gran ‘n’ go breakfast.

Overall, a nice place to stay for a night. I personally used my room after taking a nearby class I didn't want to drive an hour 1 way for. Room was decently clean, service was decent, and everything I needed was inside the room. Nearby gas stations if you needed to run out to get something real quick within walking distance. The office had coffee as well as an ice machine available to the customers. This place is directly beside the highway, but the road noise was minimal. My only complaints are not about the service itself, but the rooms are thin (meaning you hear everything). But other than that, a solid 4/5 for me and I'd use this place again if I find myself in this area for another class.

Good value for money. Modest, clean, updated and well maintained room. Quiet, not much traffic noise. Good fridge with freezer, microwave, no coffee/tea maker in the room but there is coffee and tea at the front desk from 6am. Cable TV. Not very good wifi. Parking by the room.

Never use a card I never had an issue with cash. I was charged for my stay the lady said it never went through. I left had to find another hotel. Waiting to dispute the charge with bank. They need to have somebody who understands card readers working the front desk.
