Super friendly staff. Good food (a little bit too greasy). The space is fresh and nice, but in our experience the food took too much time (1 hour for 3 simple dishes).

Good restaurant with tasty food, friendly service and an owner who spoke enthusiastically about his organic (and delicious!) wine. Recommended!

Very hit and miss. Ordered 3 dishes. One was great (mushroom with Georgian cheese), one was unseasoned (salad), the other too salty (soup). Place was totally empty except us. Service was friendly but a bit aloof. They tried to put music on the TV but it kept failing, so they gave up in the end.

I was in their terrace eating and drinking local wine. Soso, the owner is a great guy. Help me out to find a hotel and have a great time there. Food was very nice and their white and red local wine excellent. He even let me park my bike inside his restaurant after a couple of drinks to avoid getting caught by the police!! Good place in Gori!!

Very bad service. After 40mins of waiting (with several requests to speed up ) I finally have my coffee and they just started the fire to cook our food. After 1 hour we still didn’t see any food. Every time we ask the waitress say it will be ready in 5 mins. We left without having food and they didn’t even consider to refund.

The outside seating is gorgeous, there is lot of green, many trees and plants. I am not giving 5* just because I asked for a natural juice and it was not, instead they brought me some kind of Burakh..wich was not good at all. As for the shake we asked it was good... Maybe the food was great, but maybe I will taste it next time....

Staff can not use a corkscrew to open a bottle of wine Asked for a 30Gel bottle of wine.......they did not have in stock and brought me a similar bottle.....I asked if same price, yes it was..... Only customers and they changed from local music to LOUD TECHNO once we were served wine. I asked for it to be changed.....but nobody did........we then asked for the bill....and was brought immediately......but charged 55 Gel for the 30Gel bottle of wine! To make things worse this 55 Gel bottle of wine is for sale in most local restaurants for 20 Gel!!!!!.....great restaurant 5 mins walk from here with friendly staff, do not overcharge....Berikoni, with great views. BTW for anyone who has read this I seldom give bad reviews. No owner nor manager available to complain to!!!

Very nice place with welcoming owner and personnel. Good plates, especially fresh lamb shashlik/kebab, which is simply outstanding. Owners of this place also make their own wine which is pretty good, made of local unique grape type and deserves tasting. Hosts ate also were helping us to discover city and areas around. The only think I cant agree is some other reviews with people who possibly were waiting for trash fast food and so they rate low place that serves really good food with own wine, it's simply disrespectful and childish.

The sunny weather enticed me to go out to eat. We ordered salad, fried cheese and bread. The cheese portion was small, but tasty. The salad dish was missing something.. summer is just beginning, the employees will surely crack over time.

The atmosphere is good and calm, toilet was clean, but there were around 10 stray cats on the inside of the restaurant, also sleeping on the chairs and jumping on the table (despite the trial of the waitress to take them off). The chicken soup was good but the meat (veal) was oldish and very chewy. The dumplings weren’t fine either. Feel nauseous after eating it. Don’t recommend especially off season.

Location is nice, the food is fine, but the service is just horrible. We got two soups we never ordered which we had to pay for, then got lied to about the service charge (said it is the tax). And in the end kind of kicked out, we were not allowed to order more drinks. Do not recommend, 5 years ago we had a lovely stay but this is not ok

Very bad place. We went there in 6 people. Waiting time 1.5 hours for dishes. Each pizza had raw dough and was cold. The fries were raw and cold as well. The restaurant was informed about the condition of the food but they did nothing about it. We will never visit this place again. The only plus was the waitress who was nice and could speak English.

It's a really nice place with delicious food and large portions. And owners are super friendly and welcoming. They cook everything themselves: bread, vine, khinkali. Cool place with helpful staff and piano (owner even can play for you). Highly recommended!

Good food, good music, good place and service

Resto-bar Black Stars fell short of expectations with bad food and poor service. The dishes we ordered were poorly cooked, while the staff seemed disinterested. Not recommended.

Nice place with good music, huge choice of places where to sit. The waiter was fine. The food was also ok, but the serving was strange. At the beginning they bring French fries, after that - a salad, then one main dish, then potato with suluguni, and then other main dish. The portions are huge, don’t do our mistake) We even ask to pack the rest with us. Potato with suluguni was undercooked( We ask about bill, could we pay with card. But they said that they preferred cash. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Really don’t know, can anybody pay with card or not. There were a lot of stray cats and dogs there asking for food.

Overall the food was of low quality and not tasty at all. Meat was very dry and flavourless. Service was not great also. Highly NOT recommend

caution: overcharge!!! the waiter added ketchup to our order without us asking for it. don't know why - we ordered French fries, and maybe he could've recommended it. also he didn't mention that a glass of house wine is 15 lari. he then agreed that it's "a bit expensive", but I never got an answer why he didn't tell me that beforehand. the food is average, not great. the staff is welcoming, but they kept back some details. and there is one WC for both guests and staff - I had to wait until the waitress finishes her business, so I could wash my hands before eating. and keeping the little parrot in, when you don't close the door is a pure crime. never coming back.

I visited this restaurant last week. I think that resto bar black stars is the best place for our children. It’s my firm belief that you will visit this place. You can degustation excellent wine

4.2 WTH 🤦‍♂️ Compared to all the Georgian food I ate, it was a disaster. All the meals were super salty and the lemonade was made from an orange chemical 🤢 and the mushrooms was not bad but again super salty and why letting the branches of tarragon on it 🥹 It is impossible to eat…

Nice place to sit in, but besides that, I found the service quite slow and poor, and the food could have been way nicer too... I guess the Lonely Planet guide overrated it! 🤨

Lately I'm not happy about restaurants when I try a new one. Restaurant Black Stars is one of the only (for me new) restaurants which had great food for a reasonable price. It's located next to the way up to Gori Fortress.

I ordered a veggie burger and got only bread with vegetables without any burger. The meat, puree and salad had a bad taste. There are many cats in the restaurant which the owner doesn't seem to care about. We had a very bad experience. The cats were on the table when we went.

Very friendly place :) Tasty, delicious, fresh made local food. Nice scenery. Affordable prices.
