This was not only the best food and best meal of our trip but the host was one of the most genuine and lovely people we have met on our travels. The dining experience is unique and so intimate, we made friends, had great conversation, did some painting, and had the best food we have found in Georgia! Absolutely not to be missed if you are travelling to Gori! I cannot rate this place highly enough. Thanks for the amazing experience :)

Was sceptic as others after seeing only 5 stars reviews, but yes, it is definitely amazing place, cozy atmosphere, warm kitty, delicious food and great wine, and the great host. I wish to find such place one's more time on my life. Thanks for such a good experience! I want to mark special chacha the best one I ever tasted.

[จอร์เจีย🇬🇪] Dining likes a friend's house. Rule is no rule just relax. Thank you for your warm welcome. We have a pleasant experience. The menu depend on seasonal ingredients. Host will recommend you.

Amazing authentic experience. Delicious home made wine. If you are offered the home made spirit (cha cha/vodka) say yes.

Amazing place that you must stop by if you are in Gori! Giorgio is an incredible host! Be prepared to stay for much longer than you plan to as you are treated to the best in Giorgio's garage turned dining space.

This place was maybe the best one in terms of experience when visiting Georgia. The food was so on point and served so quickly. We very much connected with the host to whom we wish all the best. An unexpected find!

We visited the restaurant on the recommendation of a French couple from Stepantsminda. They said it was the best Georgia food they ate on their Georgia tour. I can confirm that 100%. Apart from the fact that the owner George has implemented his self-fulfilment in this restaurant and shows this with incredible passion, his wife is a very good cook. You absolutely have to try the "Signature Dish"! Thank you George for this positive experience. You are always welcome in Berlin. Jan & Giang

TL;DR This place is an absolute treasure with the most welcoming host in whole Georgia and the best food -- served in a unique inspiring location. All the five star reviews can not describe what an amazing host Giorgio is. With the first step into his sweet home, he welcomed us like old friends. Within the first minutes we had our first Chacha (one of many more to come...). But this is not enough! We also had the best food in Georgia here so far. His original chicken stew, the beetroot salad, the potatoes, the bread -- everything was simply amazing. Despite the host and the food, the location itself is so amazing and inspiring. There is the room in the old garage with so many little details and art pieces from Giorgio and his guests. Also the second room is like stepping into an art museum.

First a warm welcome, then a tour and art review. Second you get to try chacha - rocket fuel good. Then we can talk food: eggplant w/ walnuts, then main dish w/ mushrooms, eggplant, chicken....Oh, yummy. Did I mention fresh apple+peach juice? Cats are absolutely adorable, too.

What an experience Gorgio!! The food is typical, tasty, home made and made with the heart. His Chacha with Clove nails is out of this world!! « The only rule is feel like it’s your home » said George. What a man you are!! Your history and your legacy touched us, keep on dreaming and make great good with your lovely family 🙏🏻❤️

We heard a lot about Georgian hospitality and Georgian food , but it took us 6 days in Georgia to find this place and fully experience it. This is by far the best Georgian food I tasted. I can definitely recommend the signature dish and the the red housewine. The host is so nice and welcoming. This is a unique and special place. Hospitality at its best!

The best place we have eaten in georgia. We ordered khachapuri, the house dish, fresh bread and homemade red wine. Everything was delicious, the treatment by the owner was perfect and he made us feel at home. The place is an old garage decorated in a super curious way but that makes you feel very comfortable. Totally recommended place if you are in Gori.

One of the best restaurants in the city. It is not like any other regular restaurant but has a homely and quirky vibe. The food is delicious, especially, the beet root salad. The service is super quick and the host is very friendly. There is no fixed menu but the dishes are recommended by the host.

The interior of the restaurant is unique and creates a great atmosphere. Food is also really good, the best which we had eaten in Georgia. You can make an order in English here.

I would give it another star if I could! A real hidden gem. Limited number of tables (three or so!). Location is safe, in a non-touristy residential area. Entrance is inconspicuous, walk right through the garden and into the garage for a real treat! Cozy and warm atmosphere. Tasty house wine and Chacha. Everything we ate was delicious. The menu is your host, he will explain the dishes! The price is perhaps higher than you would pay elsewhere but you get what you pay for.

Absolutely amazing. Fabulous food - had the most delicious vegetarian stew type dish, Gomi cheese balls with walnut sauce, meatballs and crispy potatoes. Everything was delicious, but the star of the show was the house special dish. Giorgie is so generous lots of samples of his homemade chacha. Don’t hesitate to go here! 5stars!!

Visiting KE&RA was the highlight of our two week trip in Georgia. We had an amazing evening there and it was way more than just a dining experience. Giorgi is an amazing host, and he made us felt like we were dining at a friend’s house rather than a restaurant. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone seeking a unique experience in Georgia.

Great great great atmosphere, food and vibe of the place. Don't expect a conventional restaurant here like some Russian guests in other reviews. The food is delicious, esthetically pleasing and the homemade wine is tasty. Paid 90 Lari for two with four dishes in total, drinks and bread (and a few rounds of homemade Djadja).

A nice garage a bit further from the center. The path to it isn’t the best but what made this restaurant look interesting is the random art stuff and they had the best looking food in pictures. Unfortunately they don’t have official menu which I’m not sure if is even legal. We stayed there anyway and decided to risk due to the bad weather and we were hungry and had a train soon. For their special dish, two glasses of wine and eggplant with nuts we paid 60 gel which is too overprice. The food tasted like a regular mediocre food, nothing special nothing horrible. Definitely not worth the price at all. I think this place would make a nice bar, definitely not a place to eat at. The owners were really nice and thank you very much but at the same time I didn’t come to friend’s house, I came to eat and pay money for it. Not paying for a nice convo or a friendly smile. If you don’t have much taste buds and don’t care how you spend the money you earn, it’s a nice place for you. Otherwise, I would recommend to try something else if you like to eat properly. Unfortunately through the internet was very hard to find something in the area that really clicks.

We’ve enjoyed comfort, tasteful , home food! The service was caring and prompt. If you are in Gori, this is a place to visit for dining experience.

All five star reviews you read here are true. In 2.5 weeks of traveling Georgia, we never had such a memorable evening. The restaurant is not an ordinary place: it’s a boho-hippie-style decorated garage built by the host Giorgi who is a truly impressive human being with a great taste in music. The place looks like at a beach in Thailand (with a Georgian twist) but you won’t expect this in Gori before you have seen it. Giorgi runs this place with his mother and wife who make amazing food. Loved the adjapsali which seems to be their signature dish. They also cater to vegan/vegetarian diets. Giorgi is very generous (in general, not only with the ChaCha) and makes you feel like visiting a friend. If you come to Gori, stop there for a memorable experience.

One of (if not) the best restaurants we visited in Georgia. Giorgi is an excellent host, their home-cooked comfort food and home made chacha (some of the best we had in georgia) in this eccentric venue was the perfect hideaway pitstop on a rainy day traveling across Georgia. Madloba Giorgi for making us feel at home in your home and for providing us with one of the most memorable experiences in Georgia.

This is absolutely a hidden gem that offers a truly unique dining experience. Tucked away in a small garage, this restaurant's atmosphere is unlike anything you've encountered before. What truly makes Ke&Ra a standout is the personal touch. The owner George takes the time to make every guest feel welcome and special. The place not only excels in ambiance but also delivers in terms of food. George his wife and mother in law are the chefs and showcase their culinary skills. The Georgian food with a special twist is amazing!

Great place, delicious homemade juice and wine at a very affordable price. Beautiful garden with the fruits used to make their wines growing right there. Excellent service, highly recommended. I've seen some reviews saying there are aggressive dogs nearby. There are dogs in the neighborhood but they are friendly and might follow you around for a bit. There is an extremely friendly cat on the premises however.

If you want to have an authentical Georgian dinner, you should choose KE&RA! It is the best food we had in Georgia and it was truly a memorable evening with Georgio as a great host and parttime philosopher ;-)

Definitely a must-go if you are in Gori! The food is delicious, the decor is beautiful, and the hospitality is unmatched. The owner is a lovely person and incredibly welcoming! All the food is homemade including the wine and chacha. Loved everything, but my favorite eats were the chicken stew and beetroot salad. SO YUMMY! This truly has such a special place in my heart and I hope to return one day. Thank you Giorgi and your family for the wonderful time.
