Worst hotel experience ever, 300 euros per room was an extreme rip-off. Rooms were not ready, outside the room you had to sick-sack among dirty towels and vacuum cleaners, check-in area looked like a train station during rush hours, rooms were depressing, bathrooms... (see photo) everything missing in the room , expensive paid parking were you had to drive the car yourself with a messy printed map, and when arriving to hotel at nigh a security check that made you feel like a criminal. Can not understand how this hotel survives, but maybe people only stay there once and they live off their location. Fist time ever to write a review but people needs to be warned off this place they do not deliver on their declared 4-stars and price.

I was extremely disappointed. The lobby was nice. We went up to our room and got hit by a wall of an intense fake vanilla scent as we opened the door. We tried to open a window, but the windows won't open. The bed and bathroom had hairs here and there and things generally looked rough. I began having an allergic reaction to the scent and my husband called the desk to get help. They were quick and polite to respond. Moving us a couple of floors up and bringing a fan. The next room was also shabby, but at least the scent was much less. I wouldn't recommend it, and I wouldn't go back.

A very good hotel with excellent service. It’s always crowded in a good way, due to the convention centre. The restaurant at the top floor is amazing and very recommendable. The rooms are simple but have all you need for a short stay.

The staff are incredibly friendly, helpful, speak English really well. The rooms and the hotel are clean. Nothing bad to say. It’s in a pretty perfect location with the tram/bus stops right outside. The airport transfer bus goes straight to one of them outside the hotel. The only thing we found off was that we had no wardrobe in our room. Wasn’t really an issue for the two of us as we stayed for 2 nights. There’s at least 3 good restaurants in the hotel including a roof top. A high up spa. They also had an area for bags to be left if you had to check out of your hotel but needed some where to but your luggage for the day.

Quite decent hotel, but the scale was too much for our family. Hundreds of guests, packed elevators, and crowded breakfast in a huge hall with average food offering and very poor coffee. This could be a whole lot better experience. BUT, not to be so cruel, the service was great, the views from the window were amazing, the location was optimal. Just see the pics.

The hotel is very nice and we had a good room with a great view of Gothenburg. But when our friends asked if they could borrow a knife and fork from the reception, they were told that they could buy disposable cutlery in the café for 10 kroner. I understand that they would rather we order from their restaurant, but it just felt a little cheap. And the receptionist was a bit rude.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend the hotel for 3 primary reasons: -Check in process completely inefficient. Had to queue 20+ minutes to get my room keys, there was an online check in option. But why? I already had to provide all my information while booking. -Elevators are a joke. Better get used to wait 15 Minutes (not exaggerated) for an elevator only to go to breakfast. Starting to use the stairs even tho I had to go down almost 20 levels. -Their refusal to accept cash: I get it, Sweden is an almost cash-free country, but lots of tourists might not be cash-free. For lots of people it is normal to get foreign currency before going to another country. At least write it prominently on booking websites.

Massive hotel with a touch of luxury, including spa, pool, and other facilities. Excellent lay-out. Professional service, with a smile. Variety of bars including sports bar and up-market bar on the top floor of Tower 2 that had a professional and knowledgeable server offering various drinks including a delicious (but very expensive) rum! Bedrooms were comfortable, although i would have preferred a double bed instead of two singles pushed together. Pillows very comfortable. Air-con superb vs other hotels i have visited. Comfy chairs. Bathroom was clean, with lovely hot water, although the shower screen didnt always keep all the water in the shower, but the wet room style means that this doesnt matter. The mini-bar was well stocked with a good variety of soft drinks and alcohol.

Been here to deliver some packages to Maersk from Denmark. Couldn’t found any at delivery points, gotten help from Supervisor Philip then delivered after 1hour. Good staffing structure and utilities at one place 👍🏽 good to visit

It may be massive but it retains a nice feel. Good if not big rooms, decent restaurants and a lovely spa. I have stayed a few times and I am always pleased to come back.

Hotel was nice, but didn't find our room to be very clean. First day we arrived the sheets hadn't been changed. There was a stain on the bed. The room had a wet bath, but the water drained so slowly you couldn't use the washroom for 5 minutes after a shower as there was so much water on the floor. Room didn't appear to be vacuumed either as there was dust bunnies on the floor. Hotel was very central to everything, including bus to the airport and is located at one of the main transit hubs. Staff were great and did deal with most of the issues we had.

I was there visiting a dear friend. I took her to dinner there because her favourite dinner dish is the shrimp sandwich. I had a delicious cod with a fantastic white sauce. We spent 3 hours visiting and drinking wine. The next day I flew to L.A. Absolutely great venue.

One of the best hotels in Sweden. Room viewes are spectacular and they are flexible with changing rooms. There is also bars and restaurants within the hotels. Location is pretty close to the centrum of Gothenburg (walkable distance). Their Spa is also prerty good.

Decent room, chaotic breakfast area, long check-in time despite on a couple of people ahead of me. I forgot my favorite bikini in the bathroom(100% sure of this). Contacted the hotel the next day. No bikini was found and they recommended I should double check my bag (I only stayed for 1 night so had a small holdall only). If the staff can’t be trusted, I won’t be returning.

Great views, warm beer. But then, I am fussy and love ice cold beer. Overall this is a great place to meet. Who can resist the panoramic vistas? I hear they do great food. I’ll be back! Is there a better recommendation?

    Positive: Familj-friendly, close to Liseberg, to train station, super market, to restaurants. Great breakfast buffe. Negative: Overpriced restaurants; rooms have different standards between tower 1 n tower 3; hard to book spa packages;

Nice hotel with a fantastic view. A bit crowded with a soccer tournament going on. But a nice place central in Göteborg. Tramps just outside the door.

The fitness area is by FAR the best I’ve seen in a hotel! It was such a pleasure to start the day with a nice workout. The breakfast area is okay, but not a huge offer/choice and massively overcrowded - reason why I give 4 stars and not 5. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. Especially the ones on the higher floors offer an spectacular view of beautiful Gothenburg.

Lovely view. If you are at the fair or have business in the central part of the town, excellent location. Room service failed for me when ordering food although I cleary wrote about my allergi. It spoiled my night and the following day since I had a really bad allergic reaction. Luckily I always have Epipen and Cortison with me. Reception didn't handle it well (according to them, they couldn't handle it) haven't heard anything from restaurants yet.

An immense hotel with more than 1000 rooms, and the related crowds on lifts, breakfast area and so on. Efficiently managed, but the rooms are in typical Scandinavian style, with no places to store your things, a bed with a thick cover that makes you sweat all over the night, and air conditioning very difficult to manage. Not possible to open window. Very good views on the city, on the other hand, if you stay on top floors

  • 4/5 Michelle van V. 11 months ago on Google
Great conference hotel, the rooms on the upper floors have wonderful views. Pros were: clean, modern, amazing top restaurant, beautiful spa, and a decent breakfast included. Cons were: poor Wi-Fi, issues with room temperature control, soft mattress, and receiving an unfriendly phone call late at night for a mistake the hotel made.

Possibly experienced the best customer service I've ever had and I wasn't even a guest at the hotel. The staff found my friend's stolen mobile phone and contacted me to advise they had it. I offered to pay the shipping cost's back to my home address in Scotland as there are important family photo's on and they said don't worry about it we will return it to you free of charge, we are just happy we could help. If that is their level of customer service and I wasn't even a guest I can only imagine how good it would be staying there. It's nice to know there are still some good people and brilliant businesses out there. Truly outstanding service ! 👏 👌 A massive pat on the backs for you guy's and a massive thank you from me over here in Glasgow, what wonderful people you guy's are! 😃😃😃 A special shout out to Renee for being awesome also!

I had some issues with my room and the staff sorted them out very quickly...great customer service! Excellent location (trams, universeum and liseberg amusement park were located right near the hotel). Variety of hot and cold breakfast options that cater to everyone's needs. I booked a standard small room and found it was spacious enough for me. Bed was comfortable although i wish they had firmer pillows (but that's my own preference).

I had my worst experience of booking system for breakfast buffet in a hotel: - Unclear / old fashion / time consuming booking system: by sending and receiving emails! It even might take 2 weeks with no reply! And NO APOLOGY!!! - There is no clear number of vacancy and guidelines! - Arrogant and unresponsive supervisors! Tells you will call back soon after following up but never call back!!! Subsequently no solution and hang you to dry!!! I was so embarrassed to cancel a planned meeting due to their failure on appropriate clarification and communication on reservation!!!

We had a room in tower 2 and they tried to hide its age as best as they could by using some paint but it's an old room and it shows. Windows cannot be opened. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was pretty good but they started cleaning up before the official end of the breakfast which was a little bit awkward. Also this hotel is huge and there are tons of people in the lobby at all times. Parking is in the supermarket building next door in a fenced area which can be reached directly from the hotel. Tram & bus in all directions directly in front of the hotel.

Location is good, staff is friendly. Hotel looks quite fancy, but unfortunately the rooms are very simple and dated. It feels you’re staying in a hostel dorm instead of a hotel. Corridors stank. Breakfast wasn’t that good either, poor selection.

Across the street from Liseberg. 15 min. walk to Ullevi stadium. The hotel had a lot of guests at check-in when we arrived, but handled it quite fast. Parking inside, it is recommended to make parking reservations when booking the hotel. Nice rooms, fast elevator, breakfast as expected and friendly service. Offers room service.

We stayed for business purposes and the hotel facilities are really good and a huge place with a lot of opportunities for meetings and seminars. We ate dinner and it was very good for almost 736 people at once. The staff were very friendly and informative. The rooms on the other side are old fashioned but still clean and quiet.

  • 4/5 Thomas P. 8 months ago on Google
Nice view due to panorama windows. Rooms are clean and nicely equipped besides the desk - for a business hotel the rooms lack a desk where a laptop and some stuff would suit. The bed was in my view too soft, but that's just my perception. There are enough elevators available so even in peak time there is no issue. Although my window was facing towards the funfair park there was no noise issue. Very stable and fast Internet via WiFi.

It is a large but well-appointed hotel. The staff are friendly and the rooms are well decorated. And you can have a leisurely breakfast. Not too far from the center (20 minutes on foot) Recommended

It has good view from my room which faces liseburg amusement park , and with Christmas lights. English breakfast, but no lunch and dinner , they have paid restaurant , swimming pool and steam bath. Extra for laundry and don't expect Indian hospitality , its Europe you are suppose to help your self.

Avoid this hotel! This is definitely not a 4 star quality. There is a HUGE line to check-in which you will stand in for an hour! Very bad service, worst I ever experienced in hotels, worst I could ever imagine for this money. When we did our booking, they told me they had no rooms, while there were plenty of bookings available on their website, the next day, we wanted to prolong our stay, but they declined it. Even though exactly same room type was available on website! Feels like staff made us a big favor by “allowing” us to stay with them. They wouldn’t care about you, they have enough money not to care about their quests. Basic boring breakfast.

We paid for a “Superior Room” but I don’t think there was anything superior about it. The view towards Liseberg was good, but other than that there wasn’t anything special with the room. The breakfast was fresh and a lot of space to sit. It felt like a decent airport hotel rather than something more exclusive.

Excellent service. Perfect base for visiting Göteborg. Included breakfast can be a bit busy and lack variation if you stay for several days. Otherwise nice options nearby the hotel for both breakfast, lunch and dinner. Clean and well equipped rooms. Comfortable beds. Perfect location. Child-friendly. Our third stay at the hotel.

Looking for a nice place to dine or simply enjoy some drinks and nice company? The 23:rd floor offers a fantastic view of the city, accompanied by amazing food and refreshments. I can strongly recommend their King Size Deluxe Räkmacka.

Great hotel with plenty of rooms of different sizes. The rooms are nice and clean and have all the facilities you might need. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a spa with a transparent outdoor swimming pool suspended of the 21st floor of the second tower. On the same level you find in mid air suspended walkways connecting the 3 towers. These walkways have partly a glass floor so you look all the way down to the ground, not for the faint hearted.

  • 3/5 Harry C. 2 years ago on Google
Hotel facilities are excellent. On the other hand you have to be wary when making reservations because the rooms can accommodate 4 people contrary to what is posted on the internet. Reception staff could go the extra mile by providing all the information you need to have for a good stay: how to book the pool, how to use the parking lot… the person at the front desk told me that my room was not ready and that I had to queue again. The hotel was supposed to send me a text message to let me know when my room was available. I never received this text. The breakfast room is a real war field with so many people. Bravo to the room staff to manage to serve the ables and clean the room.

A wonderful place with a beautiful spa and amazing employed, the only downside being the parking place which was not clearly marked for people coming from another place and who weren't well versed with the place.

Perfect location if you're visiting Liseberg. Beautiful views, great tram connections to the city & great breakfast even during Covid.

Be careful booking different grades of rooms, it means you cant all sit in the same place for breakfast. They seem to stick to the rules no matter. . bit of a cold attitude at reception. Rooms are great , rest of the staff wonderful. But Supervisor at reception needs a refresher course in Customer care.

Accessible location to most part of the city through public transport, accessible information for room service, efficient room cleaning, best night atmosphere, next to exhibition center, great view of city on either sides of the room, and artistic lobby. It is better to have varieties in breakfast.

  • 3/5 Sandra L. 1 year ago on Google
Nice lobby, friendly staff, good location. The room was ok but you could see that the hotel is quite old. The pillows are too thick and too high. So I could not sleep. The next day I had pain in my neck and shoulders.

  • 4/5 Carl N. 1 year ago on Google
This hotel is a jumble of various experiences. The rooms vary from rather pedestrian to opulent, and while the service is usually excellent there's a tendency for queues at inopportune junctions, especially during breakfast or lunch when there's an exhibition. You can't fault the location, though - it's pretty much close to everything of importance in Gothenburg.

Beautiful hotel. Playrooms for children on multiple floors and at the restaurants. Location is key. Easy access to the busses and trams going anywhere in the city. Gothia Cup is a 20 minute journey from the front door. Corner (the restaurant) has a great food and beverage selection. Found one of my favorite sour beers here. Everyone is friendly and happy to assist. Highly recommend if you are staying in Gothenburg.

Hotel room itself was nothing special. Adding a transparent glass on the bathroom was pretty stupid. It's like no privacy in the bathroom. Onces you step out the room. Things transparent for the better. Lots of kids things to do in the hotel. Lots of lazy lounge 😴 bars and some kids game. The Tik tak camera area is pretty cool. Breakfast was very good. Location is very good.

  • 3/5 Aki L. 1 year ago on Google
Big hotel with lots of restaurants. Conference center. Breakfast was pretty modest compared to many other and some of the rooms begin to require minor fixing. I didn’t find it as luxurious as they are marketing… but the scenery is great at the higher floors. I would give 3,8 stars if that would be an option.

  • 3/5 Jian G. 1 year ago on Google
Good hotel with beautiful view overlooking the Lisberg theme park. Service is good too. The only dowbside is the mattress is really thin and soft without much support. For that reason, I rate it a 3 star. Other than that it is all good and had a very pleasant stay.

Great Location! Great resturants at the top floors, with a spa that has a view that is breath-taking. The Spa has a out Hot tub facing the a beautiful view. Expectations were really high based on the average rate of the rooms but overall i were quite disappointed. Good: - easy to reach, a lot of connections via public services - nice position, walking few minutes leads you directly in the city center with a lot of restaurants and interesting places - general cleaning is really good, rooms are cleaned daily and left always in a perfect shape Bad: - two single beds with half size sheets are just unacceptable in this kind of places, a king size bed is a must - food is terrible. Cucumbers everywhere. Everything tastes exactly the same, they have excellent fish that gets killed by weird dressings which does not belongs to fish at all - pool and Spa are expensive

The room was clean and well-equipped. Minibar prices were fair. Location was great. Couldn't get waited on at Heaven 23 bar even though it wasn't very busy. While the elevators are clean and smooth, getting them was a nightmare. They are very small and often full. At one point we waited nearly 15 minutes for an elevator.

Location 10/10 Hotel amenities 9/10 Bed comfort 10/10 - one of the few hotels where I got a pretty good nights sleep. Parking - 8/10 : parking is in a separate building and the directions can be very confusing. Room cleaning service 2/10 - this was the only thing that spoilt my experience. My room was not done up even after putting up a “clean my room”sign. The sign was taken out and the room more or less left as it was when we left it.

Amazing place! We did not stay here but visited and it is lovely. We are hoping to book next time we visit Sweden! Lots of floors to see and do, spa...children's play area, cafe's and restaurant. And central to Liseberg.

Hotel location is very convenient, you can walk everywhere quickly. There's a spa, several good restaurants in the building and a bar/restaurant on 23rd floor with great view over the city. Staff is friendly and helpful, some rooms are small though and feel a bit used, especially the bathroom. Breakfast buffet is sumptuous and good quality. Acceptable for the price.

Booked two nights for my wife's 30 birthday. We were not disappointed! They even knocked and gave a little present to here for her birthday. It made her teary eyed. Very accommodating with our little one and had an amazing view over Liseberg (Sky premium). Clean room, name on everything which made it feel so personalized and luxurious. The breakfast was absolutely amazing. The staff were great!

Great hotel with a lot of people constantly on the move in the lobby. Fantastic views from most of the rooms and with a feeling of being in the middle of the city with its bustling life and events. Great digitized services in regards of parking, checking in and out as well as cooperation with the messhalls.
